Ven glared at the teacher. He did not like her tone and was annoyed with her. The fact that he did not get a item, but settled down because it was his fault and his fault alone. "As you wish." Riolu sensed the hiss in Ven's voice wanted to fight for what he wanted. Ven saw this "Riolu do not engage and settle down. Now you do not have authorization to engage." Ven knew how Riolu felt but it was pointless to start a fight and a fight with a teacher nonetheless. *This lady, what the hell, I come to class and she denies me access to a item. Well it will be worth my while. Well it better be."
"Ok, fine I'll come to the next class and I well be on time I apologize for my tardiness."

"I'm Lu Fei!"
The silver haired guy answered with a smile at the overly evil glaring guy named Arcen. He seemed like a nice guy anyway. Trotting up in line and waiting up, Lu Fei saw a kid getting all seethed down and stuff, punished by stuff and whatever.
He felt sorry for the guy, didn't know how to make excuses actually look like excuses like him. Yeah, Pranking was the life for him. Unless his possible future and won't ever meet him girlfriend says he had to change, Lu Fei didn't see much of him changing until he got a job or something.
"Hi Miss! I'll take the Mystic Water for my Oshawott!"
Lu Fei beamed, a grin on his face as he asked for one.

Kasia slipped in, seething silently. Her hair was messier than usual, and she looked like she hadn't been sleeping much. She came in and bowed her head to the teacher, "I'm so sorry I'm late. I just got to the Academy so... I-I guess I'm not... I haven't been able to find any of my classes today." She glanced around, her eyes wild and wide. She tried to run a hand through her light lavender hair as she began to wake up. After reading and re-reading the board, and taking note of what was going on around her, she said hesitantly, "If... if it's not too late, I'd like the Dark Glasses for my Stunky. He could use some boost in battling."

Kathy also got up and went to the teacher, though a bit late, given she had zoned out for a moment. "I'll take a Miracle Seed for my Nuzleaf please"
(Sorry for the fail post)

After several other students had arrived and turned in their assignments, Van heard the professor say that it was time to begin the class. After taking a moment to bookmark his page in the book he had begun to read, Van retrieved a notebook and a mechanical pencil from his bag and prepared to take notes. Everything discussed in class so far had been basic stuff that he had learned from his parents years ago, but there was always a chance that the professor would mention something that he didn't know.
As the class begun, the professor's Bisharp approached him and handed him a small sheet of paper. The paper had a list of items that enhanced certain types of attacks. As he finished quickly scanning over the list, the professor began to explain various strategies of battle ranging from the use of stat altering moves to status effects like poison. Van listened carefully and took his usual detailed notes regarding the lecture and the subject. He also added in ideas of his own on how to improve on the basics of a few of the strategies or on how to combine strategies. The trainer also made a mental note that some of the other students might end up trying such tactics once they had learned them.
As the lecture came to the use of certain items, Van watched as the teacher reached into the bag next to her desk and pulled out a piece of Charcoal. The silver student took some detailed notes and strategies on the use of such items. Once he had finished jotting down the last few notes on hold items, Van heard the professor tell the class that she would be handing out hold items to the class. They would each be able to choose an item from the list they had been handed at the beginning of class. The trainer's eye narrowed as he looked scanned through the list again with his multi-colored eyes. He wasn't sure which of the items he wanted to choose. He could think of several ways to use the items listed on several of his Pokemon. After taking a few minutes to make his choice, Van rose from his seat to realize that he was one of the last in the class to claim their item.
"I'd like a Metal Coat for my Lairon, Ms. Roan." Van requested. While his other Pokemon could have made good use of the appropriate items as well, Solum's move pool was more restricted than the others'. Most of his Pokemon had access to attacks of at least two or three different types, but Lairon was naturally restricted to mostly steel type attacks.
