Elena smiled as she waited for the students to arrive to her next class. This time around, she actually took the time to write something on the board, though they were simple instructions.
"Take a seat and bring out your assignment from the last class. Once class starts, you will hand your papers to Hanzo. Those of you who were absent last time need not worry about the assignment. You will receive a chance to earn the credits for doing them. Also, I must request that, for this lesson, all students leave their Pokemon in their Poke Balls."
Standing at her side was her Bisharp. The looks in both of their eyes made it obvious that Elena had something planned. Of course, it was often hard to tell just what it was she was planning. All the students would be able to see was a fairly large sack containing several items...naturally, there was no way of telling just what was in it. "Today should prove to be exciting, eh, Hanzo?" The Bisharp nodded, an excited gleam in his eyes.
(in your posts, please list your Pokemon off in a random ooc note, with what their main roles in battle are. If you want, you can include the rest of the info Elena requested, though they are optional. The roles in battle are a must)

A yawn here and a yawn there, Laz wasn't getting as much sleep as he would've wanted. Sure, he has enough sleep, just the right amount that he needed but it just feels better to have as much sleep as you want. Being swamped with a load of things, Laz was wondering how he himself could do these things.
Stifling a yawn with the back of his hand, Laz slowly opened the door towards his first class for the day. The sliding of the doors woke Laz up when he saw Hanzo, his Teacher's Bisharp just looking at everything with that creepy gaze of his. With a shrug, Laz gave the Bisharp a curt bow and a wave of his hand as he saw the stuff written on the board. Placing his bag on his usual seat, at the very back and next to the window, Laz procured his needed papers.
Stacking them neatly again and making sure the folder he was using was at least not that horrendous, Laz walked up to the Bisharp and handed him the papers for the homework before heading back to his seat and opening a notebook, writing a few doodles here and there as he ultimately ended up with a few musical notes and a Seel playing a flute. With a shrug, Laz occupied himself with making the doodle look better as he waited for the others to arrive.

Alexis was the next one to walk into the classroom. She had already missed the first class so she was hoping that she would not get into any trouble. With her Joltik on her shoulder she procedded into the classroom. "Sorry I missed the first class" she said then proceded to sit in the back of the classroom.
Alexis thought to herself while sitting and waiting in the back of the room and knew that she was most likely gonna have a lot of homework to do on here, she sighed and just sat there feeding her Joltik some pokemon food she had to pass the time away. She sincerely hoped that she was not in any trouble for not being in the first class at all.
Alexis sat there bored and had to think of something to do until the class was to start. She decided to pull out her book on pokemon history and read it. She sighed and was really bored waiting for the other students that were in the class to show up. She hoped that this class was at least gonna be fun.

Battle Class!
Lily entered the classroom for battle tactics, Nanaki walking along behind her. She had missed the first class for this subject due to being under the weather. Getting used to this clean air island after living in the city her whole life took some time. She had missed a few classes here and there because of it, but was ready to make up for lost work. Entering the room, she looked up and read the board. It informed her just what she needed to hear, that she could make up for the lost class. And also said to keep Pokémon in their pokéballs for the class. Lily turned to Nanaki.
"Sorry, boy. You'll have to stay in the ball for this one." she told him. He gave her a resigned look, but cooperated, as he always did. Nanaki preferred to be where he could protect Lily and sniff things out. But he never fought with what Lily wanted. Lily returned the Growlithe to his pokéball, then went to take a seat for class.

As he made his way down the academy's hallway to attend his next Battle Tactics class, Van cast a glance down towards the young Pokemon he held in his arms. Aska, the Togepi that had hatched a few days ago, was glancing around curiously from its spot in its trainer arms. It had never seen so many people gathered in one place before and it had begun to wave at everyone it could see as they passed. A few of the students waved back towards Aska when they saw her, causing the young Pokemon to smile and coo its name happily. A small smile formed on Van's lips as he saw how much fun the Togepi was having.
A few minutes later, Van found himself entering the Battle Tactics classroom. Only Laz, Lily and another student he didn't recognize had arrived before he had and the professor was at the front of the class with her Pokemon. As he walked down to the front row of desks and sat at the same desk he had sat in last class, the trainer looked up towards the notice on the board. He withheld a sigh as he saw that the professor wanted their Pokemon to be in their pokeballs for the lesson and looked towards Aska, who was examining the Bisharp with a look of curiosity.
"Looks like you'll have to be in your ball for this one, Aska. I'll let you back out when the lesson is over." Van said quietly. Aska looked towards her trainer and let out a small huff of annoyance, though she did not argue. Van had already told her that she would have to return to the ball from time to time. After Van had recalled Aska into its ball, Van took out his three ring binder, pencil and assignment book and opened the binder to the homework he had been assigned last class. Van quickly read down the list to make sure he wasn't missing any of his Pokemon or any details on their roles and weaknesses.

Under each of his their names and primary roles in battle were lists of each Pokemon's defensive strengths and weaknesses. Once he had made sure that everything was correct and in order, Van waited quietly for class to begin. He had not brought a book to read or his MP3 to listen to, so there was little he could do but allow his mind to wander until the bell rang. |

For once, Kathy didn't have a whole parade of Pokemon following/hanging on her. Sure, she hod only had two before, and only had two now, but before she had only had three pokemon and only two of them where good walking partners. Now she had four, all of them could reasonably be out, but she still only had her two. Only, these where her new two. And both of them where babies. Firmly seated in her arms was a blue, winged and billed pokemon known as a Ducklett. She was calmly seated in Kathy's strong embrace, absorbing the world around her. Slightly in front of Kathy was an energetic little black puppy. A Poochyena. The young pup had just awoken from one of his already frequent naps, and was happy to explore, just looking back to check that Kathy was still close by, and if she wasn't, to come running to her, and cling to her side for the next five steps. When he did so she couldn't help but bend down to scratch his ears, he was just to cute. She was walking at a slow, measured pace, knowing that she was one time and there was no need to rush.
She reached the door to the Battle Tactics room, and stood in the doorway a moment. Laz was already there, what a shocker, as well as Van, who she knew mainly as the boy in some of her classes that helped her get a water stone, a girl she was pretty sure was named Lily, and a girl she didn't know. She turned to glance at the board. her lips formed a small frown. She had to put her pokemon away. She really wasn't all that found of putting either of her pokemon away at the moment. Shade and Zack where sleeping, so she didn't mind having them away, but She wasn't found of the idea of putting her 'little one's' away. However, they both smiled at her, and with a murmur or apology, she sucked them into their pokeballs. She stepped into the room, placed her homework with the pokemon she was told to, after momentarily looking it over. Yep, all good. She when to go sit by Laz.

 Rai's Ready For Class!His Party:
     
Raize rushed into the class, having the feeling that he was beyond late. "Hopefully I wont get into too much trouble." He panted heavily darting through out the halls, while his messenger back smacked his right leg. Left, right, left. He turned endlessly. Why the hell is the school is so darn big? But it wasnt the the school was big, just him being late. "I cant blame anyone but myself." He told himself, entering the hall of the battle tactics classroom. For safety & tardy reasons, his team remained in their proper pokeballs, resting, while Rai did his best to beat the bell.
Just before reaching class, he noticed that he had been running for quite some time. He was nice & squeaky clean, like rubber duckies at bath time. His pokemon were all groomed so first impression wouldnt be terrible. His messenger bag finally resting properly at his side. His blond hair covering his left eye, while his mustard color beanie was planted on his head. His dark golden rod pants, skinny of course, and a black shirt fitted but comfy. He let out a sigh, slowing completely down, approaching the classroom. Stumbling in, he dashed to the teachers desk, trying to slap together an excuse. Unfortunately he wasnt too good of a liar. "I apologize for my absence, I just had my schedule rearranged." He spat out.
After his truthful excuse, Raize headed to the front of the class, to take his seat. He then read the board taking mental note of everything. The class should be enjoyable for Raize, hopefully more than just that. Rai would be able to learn more on battling, to go along with coordinating. Just like in coordinating, Rai felt he only knew the basics. He rested in his seat for any instruction the teacher might have about today's lesson.

Yuki shuffled slowly into class. Elsie was absent from his head because he remembered that he wasn't supposed to have any of his bird pokemon out in this class.
The teen let a small yawn escape his lips and groaned lightly. Ethan had been a hassle to train with and the metal bird still wasn't entirely happy with his new trainer. The training session last night hadn't ended well.
"Stupid metal bird scratching up my walls." He hoped to god that he didn't have to pay for that. Maybe he could just paint over the cuts in the wall.
He sat down and fished through his bag for his assignment. He really needed to organize better. Eventually he found the paper and pulled it out and handed it to the pokemon that was collecting it. After that was done he laid his head down on his arms and waited for class to start.

Allen slowly walked into class, his Purrloin following close. As he walked in he looked to the board and sighed, "Piper, it looks like you need to get back in your ball for this class." Piper let out a low hiss, but ALlen gave her a stern look, "Hey, it's only for one class. Don't you give me attitude, missy." he said as he quickly took out her Pokeball and returned the Purrloin before it could react.
He walked into the room and bowed quickly to the teacher, "I am Allen Jessup. I'm new so I wasn't here for your first class, unfortunately." he said before turning around and taking a seat. He couldn't wait for this class. He prided himself on battle strategies and this class would be right up his aisle. |

Speedy ran through the halls. Hustling and bustling. He was no doubtingly going to be late for his second battling tactics class. He had only been late to one class before and it wasn't all that bad. Maybe she would be the same. That is if he wasn't late. He accidentally ran into a few more people along the way. Stumbling about the way, trying his best to keep his balance. The door was up ahead and he almost lost his balance, doing everything in his power to prevent himself from crashing into the door. He put his hands out in front of him, his hands meeting the door, slowing him down as he came face to face with the door. He took a small sigh of relief before entering the classroom.
As he looked around, not many people attended. Hmm Maybe he was earlier than he though? Hmph stupid alarm clock. Waking me up at all. He gave a small yawn, choosing a random seat before taking it. And the best part about it was. Was that he was not late.

Arcen slid into the classroom quietly and awkwardly. He had not been here for the first class. In fact, he hadn't been to any of his first classes. Assignment? Crap. He glanced around at the people there, and saw, with a small jolt, that Laz was there. Ignoring his rival and role model, he sat down curtly. He refused to miss a whole day of classes again. Though he thought sourly the stupid history class might be worth missing... He let his attention slip back to the teacher. He'd have to learn if he were going to be able to defeat any who challenged him someday, as humiliating as it was.

Rixie was nervous. She'd been late to too many classes lately. She hurtled through the door panting, Slate just behind her shoving her into the classroom before grunting and forcing his way in after her. Gasping for air, she looked up at the clock. "I-I'm not late?" Relieved, she looked around the classroom before even stopping to see the board. "P-Pokemon away?" Deep regret stirred in her and she thought, Maybe I should never have signed up for this class... She glanced at Slate with desperation in her eyes. Surely that couldn't be right... She knew that he was rather large and weighed several hundred pounds, but he was really a big softy inside... She hesitated at the door.

Adriel would be the next to arrive, her Wartortle at her side as usual. She blinked as she noticed Rixie standing hesitantly at the door, and she smirked "Hey now...what's a cute girl like you got to be nervous about? A smile would suit you much better?" She was at it again. She couldn't resist the urge to flirt with a cute girl. Sure, there were occasions when this backfired on her, but it was usually worth it to see the girls get confused or flustered. This wasn't to say she wasn't interested in an actual relationship...she just more or less assumed that she'd get rejected, which was why she could be so casual about it.
She glanced inside to notice what was written on the chalk board, and she muttered quietly as a thought crossed her mind "...is she doing this for my sake?..." After all, Elena knew about her fear of birds. Either way, she let out a sigh "Well, looks like you'll have to sit this one out, Flood." She returned her annoyed-yet-understanding Wartortle to her Poke Ball, then returned her attention to Rixie "Anyways...we should hurry up, or else we'll be late." And with that, she grabbed the other girl's hand and began walking inside, apparently planning to bring Rixie in with her. "By the way, my name's Adriel."

"Thank god I'm not late."
Lu Fei breathed as he slid to the classrom, his feet skidding on the ground. A pose like that for a disco at its sharpest, already being shown. Then he skidded a bit too far.
This resulted him unto falling down, flat on his face.
"Ow..."
Lu Fei moaned as he rubbed his nose. Thankfully, nothing was broken and he doubted it was gonna bruise. Scratching the back of his head as a healthy blush swept his cheeks, the silverette just laughed it off and bowed, counting it as just a part of his less than stellar show.
"Hi, I'm Lu Fei."
Said the boy, to anyone who was at least listening, meaning the person closest to him, meaning the dude with purple eyes and really black hair who looked like he was gonna try to smolder things with his laser eyes.
"What's your name?"

She was looking forward to this class since she wanted to be a pokemon trainer. She tossed and turned all night as she fell to pieces knowing what she could have had but she lost. She hoped she didn’t leave a bad impression because like what she was taught, ‘First impressions matter the most.’ It was just that she had a hard time sleeping trying to adjust to the breakup between and Laz. She felt she was hardly alive but barely breathing. She cynically thought that people were right, she was a heartbreaker but felt she got the worse off. A heart doesn’t ever break even does it? She got freedom but felt empty inside until no end. She loved Laz but she needed time to work on herself but was it worth it? All she could do was let go and breathe. Hope for the future.
All she needed to do was put on her make-up, a smile on her face, and if anyone her, everything is okay. She looked at the apologetically saying, “Sorry, I didn’t come to the first class.” She would rather not elaborate too much into why she didn’t make it to the last class. She then wandered and stood still for a brief few seconds looking at the guy she still had feelings for. To her, he looked just fine, while she was stupid and troubled as she played the circus clown around her friends, joke around with a stupid grin, and don’t let them see you; pain runs deep with her pride and her foxy grin plastered on her face. Like always, she put on her mask of that foxy grin but then she saw Raize; one of her only close guy friend who she trusted very much. It was hard to act like that circus clown with him since he met her as her real self that she just couldn’t put up that front.
She smiled softly at Raize and sat next to him as she said, “Hi Rai, I wonder what we’re going to learn today…” She grinned as she was fixing up her hair since she was rushing to class, “I think I got lost on the road of life more times than I should.” For some reason, Rai had a way to lift up her spirits even though he wasn’t even trying to do so. It was just one of the perks of being his close friend she guessed. She felt a bit sad she wasn’t in his other class since he was planning to be a coordinator, while she was planning to be pokemon trainer. She looked around and there were a bunch of other students who she didn’t get to know since she wanted to get away from people in general for a while. She decided to try to socialize with the others later on. Her thoughts began to drift to think; dreams come true aren’t for girls like her and hold her head up high like it ain’t no thing, and when those guys come ‘round she’ll be into other things. She won’t let them people think something’s wrong.

Coralie walked into class quietly, looking around for Arabella. Her sister hadn't been there last class, but Cora had done her homework for her, like usual. She knew Bella would do the same for her, if the roles were switched, so she didn't mind. Besides, Arabella only had a Shinx (Coralie was so jealous) and an egg, so it wasn't so hard.

Elena nodded quietly as the students began to come into the classroom and take their seats. Some familiar faces, and a few she didn't recognize. Probably students who didn't make it to her first class for whatever reason. Not that she minded, of course. She was willing to forgive and forget...this time around. Unless the students were brand new to the academy, she wasn't going to be anywhere near as forgiving. She wouldn't punish them. But they would miss out on anything she had planned.
Either way, she looked to the clock and nodded. "Very well. Time to begin." As her Bisharp went around to collect the assignments, she herself followed behind him, handing out a sheet of paper with various items listed to each of the students...even those who didn't have their assignment. Once this was done, she nodded to her Bisharp and returned to her desk, waiting for a moment to collect her thoughts. Then the lecture began"
"Alright then. Welcome to the Battle Tactics class. Today, we will be going over various strategies for battle. The most simple is to exploit an elemental disadvantage. However, depending on who the opponent is using, that is not always an option. There are other common methods. Retard the opponent's ability to battle by decreasing their stats or inflicting them with a status abnormality. Or the inverse of that...boost your own Pokemon's stats to improve their ability to fight. Of course, relying on this is never a good idea, especially when facing a tougher opponent. It leaves you open for attack...just because the opponent deals less damage doesn't mean your Pokemon won't take any damage. That damage can add up quickly if all you do is use support moves, and, by the time you're done the Pokemon will be too weak for any of it to make a difference"
She took a brief second to catch her breath and recollect her thoughts, then continued. "Other methods include using Poison and continuously damaging moves to slowly wear down the opponent while defending yourself from their attacks...of course, that can easily backfire if one isn't careful. And, of course, one can simply do nothing but attack. Simple yet effective, but also makes it easy for the opponent to counter your moves. Of course, whichever you prefer is up to you. Most strategies have their pros and cons. If implemented properly they can turn around what should otherwise be a hopeless battle...and if implemented poorly they can make the battle virtually unwinnable."
Then then reached for the mysterious bag on the floor next to her desk, pulling out a piece of Charcoal. "And then there are these. Items that can be held by Pokemon that boost the effectiveness of certain moves, depending on their type. This one, for example, increases the effectiveness of Fire-type moves by 20%. Today, I will be handing these out. Each of you were handed a list. On this list is the items you can choose from. For the sake of fairness, I must request that anyone who happens to own a Scyther or an Onix not ask for a Metal Coat. And, for obvious reasons, I don't have any of the Orb items listed there...not that they would be of any use to you, but I figured it was worth mentioning regardless. Either way, come up here one at a time and tell me which one you want, and which Pokemon you intend to have hold it."

Speedy watched as the teacher walked around. He slightly cringed completely forgetting about the homework assignment. He stared down at the sheet of paper. Reading off of the sheet a few lines. Then as the teacher began to speak he picked his head up and listened intently. She was talking about held items and about how some people battled. And how it worked... sometimes. But then she pulled out an item that's when Speedy began seriously interested. As he continued to listen the teacher informed the students to choose an item off of the list.
Speedy sat there, the rest of the students reading off of the list and thinking what item they wanted. But he was the first to raise his hand. "Ahem. Yes... Professor. I would like A Sharp Beak for my Ducklett, and my Rufflet. I mean... if I'm allowed that is." He said almost unsure of himself.

Laz whispered as he jotted the notes that were flowing out, making sure he got the important ones and burning them to memory as he added a few more foot notes regarding the possibilities.
Putting up a mental list of his pokemon, Laz could have a choice for majority of the items, given he had more than enough types to choose from. Standing up, Laz neared the teacher and made the choice.
"Ms. Roan, if it is possible, may I ask for the Spell Tag? It'll be for my Gengar."

"Hold Items, huh." Yuki wrote down a few notes on the small lecture and tilted his head. He knew of them, but he hadn't really used any. He was pretty sure he had a Focus Band at home or something, but it never got any use. It was honestly an option that had passed by his mind during his journey.
"Maybe I should do a little research on that." The teen muttered to himself as he walked over to the desk. When he reached the desk he pondered on what he should grab. He had mostly flying types, but they were all dual types with most of them favoring their other type. Maybe a Miricle Seed for Eric.
He shook his head and tried to remember the name for the Flying Hold item. He could remember almost every other type of Flying escaped him. "Ah, Sharp Beak. That's it."
"I'd use a Sharp Beak and well, I'd probably switch around since most of my team are Flying type but mostly on Eiji my Taillow." The little guy was the only one that had to rely mostly on Flying moves.

Nikky looked at the list of items and thought for a moment. She nodded and looked at the teacher before she responed. "If I may please, may i have the magnet? It would really give my Joltiks lightning ball a boost." She sat down with her Joltik on her shoulder as she waited to see if she was able to get the item.

"Justin might like a scarf..." Rai mumbled getting up after Yuki. He walked over to the front of class & picked up the charcoal. "Thanks Ms.Roan!" He smiled at her. He thenremembered his that Dante would have too much pride to use the charcoal. He looked back at his teacher. "Oh Im sorry, I was going to use it for my fire type but he'd have to much pride too. So I'll take the silk scarf instead." Rai put the the charcoal down & grabbed the silk scarf. "This will be for Justin, my epic aipom!" He informed the teacher, returning to his seat by Sage. "Haha. Isnt this great, we get free stuff?" He whispered to his pal.

Adriel was next in line, having already decided what she wanted before she even got up "Hello, Miss Roan. I'd like a Miracle Seed, please. It will help Pain, since he doesn't do much damage compared to my other Pokemon". As soon as she received the item, she returned to her seat, excited to try it out.

Finally, Rixie forced herself to get out Slate's pokeball and put him back in. She jumped and glared at the girl who had come close to her, hostility in her gaze. Without saying a word, she began to retreat to the farthest corner, before realizing with horror that Arcen was already there. "Hmph!" she turned up her nose and headed to the opposite corner, brooding for a long time before the teacher came and finally put a piece of paper on her table.
Rixie's senses tingled a bit and she swallowed nervously. She'd never heard of type enhancers. She knew that there were basic (and rather obvious) elemental advantages and disadvantages between pokemon. But she'd never heard of items that strengthened something like that... She looked over the list carefully. The logical choice was to choose something that would help her Rhyhorn... But she could really use something to help her baby Oddish win enough battles to evolve. She pondered and after a long hesitation, she asked, "Could I have a Miracle Seed for my Oddish?"

Seeing Rai walking back with his scarf for his “epic” Aipom, she smiled excited for her friend. He sat back down next to her and whispered that isn’t it great that we got free stuff and she grinned, “Yup, it’s awesome. One of the perks of going to PA.” Sage watched everyone else get their type-enhancement items and she wondered which of her party pokemon she would want to use it on. She considered giving Zeal a miracle seed since he battled more often than the others but took a second to think about it and decided against it. She guessed that Zeal could always heal himself with some of his level-up moves that he already knew that could help him last longer in a battle. On the other hand, her friendly Rufflet, Luca didn’t have that privilege to heal himself or cure himself of status problems. Although he was bulkier as a physical attacker, he was just a bit slower than she thought he would be especially against speedier flying-type pokemon. She wished he could have a speed boost than using tailwind but she had to take what she could get and use it to her advantage in some way. A power-boost for his flying-type attacks would do just fine. She just needed to strategize correctly. She walked to the front of the room and asked politely with some hesitation, “Can I have the Sharp Beak? It’s for my Rufflet, Luca.” She received the Sharp Beak and said gratefully, “Thanks,” as she then returned to her seat. She mumbled while sitting, “This would really help you a lot Luca.” She whispered jokingly, “After much careful deliberation and pondering. I have chosen a very sharp looking beak for the friendly Luca.”

Arcen looked up at Lu Fei and stiffened. At first, his thoughts were flooded with a simple Oh, don't talk to me. Go away. Go bother someone else, somewhere else... Then he looked straight at him, and Arcen covered a heavy sigh with a large, jaw-cracking yawn. He blinked blearily up at Lu Fei, "My name? Arcen. How about you?" He glanced around the room and was horrified to see Rixie walking in. How typical. The girl wants to battle... Riiiight.
Unable to completely hide his loathing for her, he let out a frustrated sigh and clenched his fist under his desk. He merely glanced at the list. He'd already studied everything he could in books; he had no need of such a thing. When he noticed that most people had gone up and chosen their items, he nodded respectfully to boy and heaved himself to his feet, yawning widely again before reaching the teacher. "Ms. Roan, I would appreciate it if you could give me the Poison Barb. They will be quite helpful with my Zubat's... progress."

Claire bust into the room, but with style! She opened the door, seeing all of the students. Everyone seemed to be looking forward at something. Not noticing the teacher was Elena, she gave her crap excuse & headed to the back of the room. Sitting on the otehr side of Raize. Maybe, she'd have some kind of fun here.
Seeing all the other students pop up, then Arcen, she looked ahead to see a carrier of multiple held items. Each one would boost a pokemon's power. Then hearing the small chatter next to her, she over heard how they were all instructed to go get a free held item. Standing up firmly, she strolled to the desk to pick up an item. "I want..." She paused seeing Elena's face. It was her...The woman that gave her, her test to enter PA..."I want this. Its for my psychic pokemon...Gothita..." She said picking up a twisted spoon. She then scurried back to her seat, hoping the awkward tension would fade soon.

Coralie had let several other people go ahead of her to get their items, pondering which one to choose. There were two main options, for her two main fighters. Either the nevermeltice for Xue or the sharp beak for Hailey. In the end she picked out the sharp beak, and went up to the desk. She was shaking a little as she finally spoke up.

Ven walked into class along with Riolu at his side "blast that women it and her special attackers that caused me to be here. I should be out fighting some wild pokemon than be in this stupid classroom." Ven said under his breath. His eyes wandered around the classroom looking for Speedy. The second time they battled, he said that he had most of the classes that the school offered, so he had to have this class at least. Someone as strong as him could not have this class. His gaze finally found him taking a seat next to to him. Riolu seeing all of the pokemon out Riolu took her fighting stance expecting an attack from the pokemon. "Wardog stand down!" Riolu instantly settled down and looked around in confusion. Wondering what was going on. "Umm Sir Speedy what is going on? For a battle class there seem to be a lack of battling." The trainer didn't like to be here and just hated to be in class. He thought that class was a waste of time but he lost a bet and it he had to honor his word.
"Ummm miss... what are we doing?"

As Elena passed out the items, she narrowed her eye lightly at Alexis. Letting out a sigh, she shook her head. "Afraid you don't get one, dearie. Not if you can't follow a simple instruction... " To emphasize her point, she pointed to the blackboard, where it was written that she wanted all Pokemon in their Poke Balls. As it turned out, this was exactly why she wrote that on the board "You need to pay more attention. In a battle, failing to notice something important is the quickest way to lose. Don't worry. I'll let you get an item next class, since you were at least on time. But, for now, you'll have to do without."
Then Claire came waltzing in, claiming an item for herself. She knew Claire was new, so went ahead and let this slide. And then there was Ven. He had no such excuse. On top of this, he didn't seem to be taking this very seriously. Elena was not amused...however, she kept her cool. "If you must know, I'm handing out items that help with battling. Had you bothered to show up on time, you'd be getting one too." She could read him like a book...he was more interested in battling than actually coming to class "Tell you what...normally, being late would have exempted you from the next classes activities...but I'm going to make an exception. If you come to the next class, and actually make it on time, then I promise I will make it worth your time." She chose to say nothing more than that...after all, she didn't want to ruin anything.
