Considering he came from a dirt-poor family, Zurwyn is lucky to be at Pokemon Academy. His mother died giving birth to him and his father is paralized. From the time Zurwyn was four years old, he had to do everything around the house, including cooking, laundry, etc. Now all of that was being done for him. He was glad, although when he first got here, he was wondering how his clothes always got washed without him knowing. Then he came to his dorm early one day, and noticed someone was taking his clothes to wash.

Zurwyn had decided what he was going to do at the Pokemon Academy. He left Pokemon Academy for a few hours to go see his mother's grave. "Mother, I promise to you that I will catch five more Pokemon and fully evolve them. You will be the first to know."[/i] He promised. He then said a prayer. "I love you Mom..."[/i] He finished, and burst out in tears. He was heartbroken, and for the first time in eight years, he felt guilty about his mother dieing.
Someone walked up to Zurwyn and spoke to him. "Zurwyn, it's not your fault." He knew the voice sounded familiar, and then he realized, "Father!"[/i] Zurwyn turned around to see his father walking towards Zurwyn. "YOU'RE WALKING!!!"[/i] Zurwyn was so surprised that he forgot about his mother. "How?"[/i] Zurwyn asked, immediately intrigued.
"Remember where we used to live?" His father asked. "Yes, and what do you mean 'used to'?"[/i] Zurwyn asked, completely puzzled. "Do you have time? It's a long story." "Of course!" So his father started explaining the events that happened

This is a flashback, not actual in character dialogue.
After Zurwyn left to go to the Pokemon Academy, it was quieter around. Everyone was wondering, "Where is Zurwyn?", but no one knew, but Zurwyn's father. So finally someone asked his father, "Rerem Talgro,"[/u] a resident of the ghetto where Zurwyn lived asked Zurwyn's father, Rerem, a question. "Where is your son, Zurwyn?" Rerem knew the answer, but was debating whether to reveal the information or not. "He is at the Pokemon Academy." Rerem resonded. The resident ran out of the Talgro residence yelling, "ZURWYN TALGRO IS AT THE POKEMON ACADAMY!!!" And most people peeked out of their doorway to see what was going on. Then when everyone realized what was going on, they had a secret meeting, one that Rerem wasn't invited to. They decided on something.
One week after the secret meeting
The same resident who first heard that Zurwyn Talgro was at Pokemon Academy walked up to the Talgro residence with a large sack. He knocked on the front door. It wasn't locked and it opened when he knocked. "Hello?" The villager asked. It was dark inside. "Hello? Is anyone here?" He asked a second time. This time, he got a response. Off to the villager's left was a chair that appeared to have no one in it. As his eyes adjusted to the dark, he could see Rerem sitting there. "Rerem, we, as the villagers, have decided on something." He said. "Oh really? What might that be."
The villager responded with, "We had a meeting one week ago, which we purposely didn't invite you. We wanted to surprise you." Rerem was intrigued. "How so?" Rerem asked. "All of the villagers took all of the money they had in their houses and put it in this bag." The villager explained. "We are giving it to you. We know you need more help, and withou Zurwyn here, you are not able to do anything by yourself." He continued. "Get to the point, please." Rerem said.
"We have paid for surgery to cure your paralysis. We also bought you a small house." The villager explained. "And there's still money left over to buy whatever you want. I'm sorry, but we couldn'y buy food as well. That's up to you to buy." The villager finished. Rerem starting crying. "Thank you, so much! But, what about you people. How will you pay for food and all that?" Rerem was extremely happy at this point. The villager responded with "Remember, we have jobs."
Two days later, Rerem went into surgery. It lasted for three and one half hours. When the surgeons were done, he tried to walk. It had been twelve years since he had walked, so he fell to the floor. "Careful, you still need to recover a little bit more." The surgeon explained. Rerem was so happy. He couldn't wait to show his rediscovered body to Zurwyn.
One week later
Rerem was out of the hosital and moving fine. His left arm was still getting used to the movement, which fine because he's right handed. So, Rerem started on the task of learning his full movement, which would require patience. This would also pass the time until he saw Zurwyn again.
End flashback[/size[
Present day
"And that's how I ended up this way." Zurwyn's father, Rerem, explained. Zurwyn was filled with blissful thoughts. He then remembered when he had to be back, and it was almost dark. "It was nice talking to you dad, and congratulations!" Zurwyn said. "It's almost dark, and I have to get back to my Dorm."[/i] he explained. "And Dad,"[/i] Zurwyn said. "I promise, when I get all six pokemon and fully evolve them, you'll be the second to know. Mom will be the first."[/i] He stated. He then walked up to his dad and hugged him. His dad brought his arms up and hugged Zurwyn back. "It's good to see you again." Rerem said.
"Sorry to cut our reunion short, but I've got to go."[/i] Zurwyn pointed out.
And that's how Zurwyn Talgro's Quest to get six fully-evolved Pokemon began. No one knows how long it'll take, but it's going to be a while.
