Deciding to take a much needed break from touring the campus, Eros had found a nice patch of soft grass to lie in. "Join me, Skarmory," he said as he threw his Pokeball out, releasing his Pokemon. The steel pteradon screeched out his own name before taking to the skies. He was just dying to spread those wings, letting them reflect rays of sunlight and cast bright glares down onto the ground where his trainer was.
Wakefield had walked by the barn that housed that Black Dorm students. He didn't stop to speak to any of them. But now that he was lying down not too far from where they all resided, he was sure he'd run into one. If not, that would be just fine too. Leaning back and watching clouds go b, Eros closed his eyes and let the soft breeze blow his hair. A sigh of pleasure was released.

Allire stormed out of the Black Dorms, after unpacking her stuff. She wasn't pleased. Her room was spartan at best, she'd been stuck with the top bunk and, worse, she had roommates. This was ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. She was a good trainer, no, a GREAT trainer. She did not belong with these losers. Sure, she'd be out soon enough, but she was beginning to think immediately wouldn't be soon enough. Black was beginning to seem even worse than Red. At least the Red students had done something to end up there. Her tester had been an idiot.
Allire's Magnemite floated besides her as she walked outside, grateful to escape from the mediocrity that was her dorm-mates. She should probably name him, she thought idly. Maybe he hadn't been given to her under the best of circumstances, but he was hers. Her pokemon. She was a trainer, already half-way there. As the poke-ball hanging by her waist proved. Now if only she could work out how to get her Magnemite back in there... No matter. She was a genius. It could wait. She'd figure it out.
"You'll be...Maren," Allire decided finally. Yes, that had a good ring to it. That was the thing. Like she said, she was half-way there already. And then she was sprawled out on the floor, tripped over someone's leg.
Allire scowled at the someone, a pretty boy just lying there, out in the open practically begging to be tripped over. Ah lovely. Another of her new dorm-mates. And he looked really sharp, "Why do you look so happy? Shouldn't you be studying or unpacking or something? What are you doing out here? This is a stupid place to take a nap. People are passing through here, you know!"
As she complained, Allire pulled herself up and tried to brush the crushed grass off of her new dress without drawing too much attention to the fact that she had just been sprawled over the ground. Allire Marker didn't do undignified.

Eros's mocha eyes were clenched tight, shutting off his vision from the world. Just lying here was enough to appease him; he could definitely fall asleep out here. Perhaps a cat nap would suffice? The idea certainly sounded nice, but it was all too soon interrupted by a voice. You'll be... Maren.
Opening his eyes to see who was coming, Eros felt a sharp pain jolt through his outstretched leg. Another human body went face-planting into the ground as he reared up his leg at the knee, wrapping his arms around the throbbing ligament. "Jesus Christ," he said, looking over at the one who'd inflicted the damage. She was a girl who, no doubt, attended PA. A Magnemite was floating around her downed body, presumably her own partner. As she stood up, yelling at him for his decision to nap on the grass, Eros figured it was time for him to get up too.
"I'm sorry; I just figured those with their eyes open would be considerate enough not to walk all over those with their eyes closed." Brushing off his scuffed pants leg and the blades of dry grass out of his wavy brown hair, Wakefield looked the girl up and down again. Definitely beautiful, but what should a person gain to have all the beauty in the world and yet the ugliest personality? "Let me guess: Black Dorm?"
How judgmental. As beautiful as he was, Eros's personality wasn't without flaw either.

"For now," Allire replied coldly, hearing the disdain in his voice. Guessing he wasn't one of her dorm-mates after all. Good. Nice to see they hadn't gotten all the losers, "And those with their eyes open are hardly to blame if those with their eyes closed chose to lie in the middle of a busy path."
Allire placed her hand on Maren, noticing that the boy's pokemon was silver and metallic looking as well. She sniffed disdainfully. Of course the boy's pokemon WOULD look like hers. But at least her Maren didn't try to imitate a bird or anything so foolish. He was honest about what he was, like Allire. Honesty had always been one of her finest qualities.
And she was going to be honest with this kid now, "Allire Marker, thanks for asking. And you would be, pretty boy? You're not a Prince you know. The admissions test are stupid. And I'll bet you're in Yellow Dorm at best. Probably just got there because of your face too. "
Maren had started drifting away during the confrontation, so Allire called out his name. She needed him here, where she could keep an eye on him while watching the other student's pokemon. She wouldn't put it above him to attack her. In fact, a part of her hoped he did. She could take this boy, she was sure of it. His eyes might be a pretty color, but they didn't glint as sharply as hers. And like she'd said, the test was a joke.

Boy oh boy - were those hints of jealousy in Allire's voice that Eros heard? She seemed to be hurt that he was of higher rank than she was! Honestly, he felt the same way that she did - those entrance exams were complete and utter crap. But at the end of the day, who got the awesome tree house and who got the smelly barn? Though, he wouldn't be bringing up any of that right now. If Allire truly wanted to play these catty, cerebral warfare games, they had the rest of the semester to do so.
Seeing his trainer standing up would obviously prompt Skarmory to come floating down from the sky. His metal alloy wings cut through the sky as the silver bird Pokemon perched on the ground beside Eros. It tucked its wings, looking at the wayward Magnemite, drifting away from a tamer who was quick to draw him back.
"You're right, I am in Yellow Dorm; but I didn't get put there because of my good looks," he said with a smile, hoping to come off as nice. But if he came out as sarcastic, that'd be all right too. He, surprisingly, stuck out his hand for a greeting shake. "Eros Wakefield." His hand stayed out there for a few seconds, so he felt the need to be reassuring. "C'mon. I won't bite."
