Jay Johnson walked in confident, Finally fulfilling his dream to become a Student and Pokémon Trainer but as he walked in through the laboratory doors, he felt a slight chill in the air. He felt that he just stepped into another world, he felt like he has finally grown up as he notices all the hi-tech things in the laboratory. He observed the equipment before walking into a room where his examination would be held. He was biting his lip, he was trying to stop himself from screaming with excitement. "Hello?" He shouted, wanting his examiner to hurry up so Jay can finally get his first Pokémon.

This was rather boring... Well not "rather" boring, but completely utterly and stupidly boring. Why was he always stuck in the Laboratory room? If anything, why didn't Yang and him ever work the same hours?! Damn it! Yin wouldn't mind dealing with all these brats if he could see Yang more often. Yang's beauty was like a white rose in a snow storm. You struggling through ice and blistering freeze to get it, but as soon as you got close you were pierced by it's thorns.
His thoughts were interrupted by a boy shouting "Hello." Yin growled as he turned from the cabinet he had been staring at to the new student. "Were you raised in a barn for Arceus' sake?!" he asked him. "Never shout like that indoors! I don't care what part of the world's wilderness you're from, use your indoor voice."
With that, Yin opened the cabinet and pulled out a tray of Pokeballs. "Follow me now if you don't feel like staying in here and hosting your own bloody opera." Yin then walked out the back doors to a large pond battle field. It was pure water with spots on both sides for the trainer's to stand on. [/blockquote]

Jay chuckled as Yin growled at him. Jay gave himself a moment to stop chuckling then replied "Well sorry sir, you were day dreaming and you had a new student coming in to take his test" He looked at Yin pull out the ray of Pokéballs, Jay's eyes gleamed at the sight of the Pokéballs, thinking that maybe... just one of them might be his first Pokémon. He nodded as Yin asked him to follow and so he did, He followed him into the pond area and stood on one of the spots, awaiting for his Pokémon. "This is going to be fun" He thought to himself.

Yin held out the tray. "Pick one," he ordered. The Pokeball the boy got would hold a Snorlax. Meanwhile, after he got his Pokeball, Yin would walk around the lake to the other side and pluck his own Pokeball out of the tray. He would release a Fearow. "Let us begin, you have the first move. Jay took the Pokéball on the left and nodded to Yin "Thank you, Sir" Jay said. He then threw the pokeball into the water, The ball opening inside the water would release a huge monster-like Pokémon with eyes closed.
Jay would look at this and groan "No matter. Okay! Snorlax use Yawn! Jay shouted as he pointed at the Fearow. The Snorlax would open it's mouth wide and release a loud yawn that would hopefully effectively make the Fearow fall to sleep. "Okay Snorlax If Fearow falls asleep, flatten it with body slam!" Jay roared out to Snorlax in an encouraging tone. If the Fearow were to fall asleep, The Snorlax would slowly weight itself down onto the pond's bed and with amazing power, it'd shoot out of the water and aim to land on the hopefully asleep Fearow which would hopefully crush the Fearow.
