1) Slate: Rhyhorn. 2) Sparky: Emolga. 3) Petal: Oddish 4) Red: Corphish 5) Seashell: Tirtouga
Rixie trudged up the mountain, sweat beading at her forehead. Slate walked alongside her, concern in his eyes. The heat did not bother him as much, but he could see that she was quickly tiring. He offered her his back, and she gratefully flopped onto it. They continued up the volcano. She wanted to have Petal out, or Seashell, out, but she had a feeling that neither of them would particularly enjoy the heat either...
She looked around, feeling the thick shoulders of her Rhyhorn moving steadily upwards beneath her. His breath remained even and smooth, and she found herself lulled between the slow, steady rhythm and the heat that wrapped around her. She looked up and saw a hazy form somewhere up the mountain. It looked like a tall bird. Or maybe a human with red hair.

"THIS IS AWESOME!"
Laz shouted at the top of his lungs as he felt the winds slapping his face, the speed they were going on was totally fine and it was unbelievably fun. Flying like this just might become a habit of his.
Sora, Laz's Fearow, was trying her best to be careful when it came to flying, not wanting to throw her Master down to his doom. Not that she was confident that could save him either way.
The two soared in the air, Laz laughing his heart out and genuinely having fun at it. This opened a lot more horizons for him, maybe if there was ever a racing competition, Laz would use Sora as his steed.
"You're amazing, Sora."
Laz laughed as he bent down and hugged her tight as she even twirled in the air, like a bloody corkscrew and letting Laz see how high he was in the air, that a single fall would be disastrous. He had faith in his pokemon.
"C'mon, let's keep the promise we made."
Laz said to his pokemon, who agreed and sped down, flapping her wings to fix her landing as the two landed near the destination point. He was supposed to be meeting a few people here and promised to help them out with a few things.

---Team--- 1. Alacer (Zubat) (item: Poison Barb) 2. Rasoir (Pawniard)
Arcen looked up eagerly when he noticed the large bird. He stared at the huge bird, watching carefully. As it dove down towards him, he nodded with satisfaction. It was Laz. First, he felt a surge of anticipation, but then it was cooled over as he remembered his recent defeat. He swallowed hard, and glanced at Alacer. She turned away snootily as soon as she noticed he was looking at her, and he sighed. Ever since that loss, she had been cold towards him. He tried explaining that the only reason he'd agreed to the wild pokemon's deal was because he had had faith that she could win... but it didn't help. Hopefully sooner or later, perhaps not until he had earned her some battles, though, she would come around and once again be the loyal, doting pokemon that he had grown to appreciate.

"Hop! Hop! I SAID HOP!"
Lu Fei shouted, along with his Oshawott and Geodude. The trio were busy jumping over rocks that seemed fit for their size. Shan, being the Geodude that he was, would have a hard time but he was getting there. He had to learn how to hop with his arms though.
Sanzo was faring better, trying for a small rock first before jumping over and over again over it. Carrying himself through it all, Sanzo noticed mid hop that there was Rhydon by the horizon. He wasn't sure if it was a Rhydon or a Rhyhorn, he always mistook those names. Either way, the Oshawott tugged at his trainer and pointed at it.
"It's a school mate. You two wanna make friends?"
Lu Fei laughed as the two agreed and off they sped towards the moving boulder.

Yawning sleepily, Rixie changed position from holding onto the Rhyhorn's broad shoulders to resting her head between them as their steady moving functioned like a cradle that rocked her slowly to sleep. Suddenly, he jerked her awake as he swung around abruptly, nearly throwing her off. He growled a warning towards the small pokemon, "Slow down you two. What are you up to?" Rixie yawned again, and blinked her eyes open, mumbling, "Why have we stopped? Is something wrong?" Her hair fell past her shoulders, ruffled and dark, as she turned to peer at the two smaller pokemon.

"There you are, Arcen. I trust you've been training hard? Still use the Totem Poles I showed you last time?"
Laz asked in a cheery manner, hopping off of his Fearow and affectionately petting the bird. The fearow crooned her neck into the touch and happily accepted her Master's gratitude.
"I guess Alacer isn't treating you kindly? Pissed her off?"
Laz asked as he returned Sora to her pokeball, plucking a feather from her neck first and twirling it in his fingers.

Arcen nodded. "Of course," he said. Then he glanced at Alacer, who was still turned away from him. The Zubat had angled her ears back, however, listening to his every move. "I suppose I must have. I... think she's tired of loosing." He gritted his teeth and ashamedly looked down at his shoes. "Or perhaps she thinks I don't deserve to have the slightest confidence in her, or myself, yet. She may be right." He glanced at her again, and her wings quivered, but still she did not turn to look at either of them.

"Oshawott, Sha Sha Sha Sha Wott!" (I'm Sanzo, and I wanted to meet you!)
The little Oshawott said as he enthusiastically waved his hands at the mighty beast. Shan did as well, only with more awe as he saw the similarly typed pokemon next to him. He wasn't that strong so he was easily impressed.
"Geodude dude Geo Geo eodude." (I'm Shan. Pleased to meet you.)
Said Shan as he waved at the pokemon. His trainer on the other hand was already smiling at the girl on top of the pokemon. "Hi! I'm Lu Fei!"

1) Slate: Rhyhorn. 2) Sparky: Emolga. 3) Petal: Oddish. 4) Red: Corphish. 5) Seashell: Tirtouga.
Slate began to relax as the pokemon proved to be friendly. He bowed his head to the Oshawott, sniffing softly, "I see. I am Slate." He swung his head around to gaze at the Geodude, and that old, fatherly affectionate look came to his eyes. He nuzzled the Geodude gently, "Indeed. It is quite good to meet a youngster such as yourself. It seems you have quite a ways to go." He lowered himself down, knowing that Rixie would feel uncomfortable sitting down around the human who had just showed himself.
As soon as Slate was close enough to the ground for Rixie to slide off his back onto the ground with ease, she did so, not wanting to be caught off her feet. All traces of sleepiness were gone, replaced with caution and some suspicion. She was still not particularly comfortable with new people. She looked her lips nervously, "Hello. I- I'm Rixie." She glanced away, towards the people she had seen earlier. "I was just um... heading over that way."

"Well, you wanna know how to get a few more wins? Take that stick out of your ass and befriend and understand your pokemon. She'll trust you way more if you do."
Laz advised as he released his Natu, Leila. The little green psychic bird flapped her wings and crooned on Laz's head, making her nest as comfortable as possible before waving 'Hi' at the company.
Pulling out a pokeball, Laz released hi Crobat. The massive purple bat pokemon screeching like bloody hell in response to finally being released from that hell hole.
"<Bwahaha! I AM FINALLY FREE FROM MY IMPRISONMENT! I SHALL DOUSE THE WORLD IN MY POISON AND oh damn.>"
Jubei shouted off to his self as he fluttered around his trainer, making weird noises that sounded much like world domination laughs before he saw there were other people.
"<I mean, I am Jubei, My Master's Crobat.>"
He said towards Alacer while Laz just laughed and petted him. "C'mon, Arcen. Let's head down, this place isn't good for training." Laz said as he started to go down the rocky path towards lower ground, where air was way thicker.

While the two parties are in different places, it would seem that Arcen/Laz can see the other two trainers in the distance! Though Arcen/Laz should also be able to see a giant boulder near the other group as well! This boulder was odd...It had legs...feet...arms...and eyes...It was a pokemon! It was a graveler!
The pokemon seemed to be a big meanie. It wanted nothing more than to cause problems! The graveler was behind Rix & Lu Fei, making a large roar at their small group. It was ready to fight, right away!
Summarize:
- Graveler appeared!
- Its about to attack Rix & Lu!
- I need to post for Laz's thread ._.

Arcen swallowed hard before nodding. Slightly distracted from his misery by the appearance of the Crobat, he watched it closely. Maybe someday that could be Alacer. If he got his act together anyways. Finally, he looked away, as Laz mentioned heading down lower. He agreed silently, with another nod, thinking deeply.
It wasn't until he heard a huge roar that he realized something was wrong. His gaze shot up from watching the ground to looking up, and he saw a huge... rock? Lumbering off towards... what appeared to be two other people. His breath caught as he recognized the long, dark hair of Rixie. "It's... a Graveler," he said softly, "And it's headed right towards them!" He broke into a scrambling run, nearly tripping over rocks and dry tufts of grass.

"Cool! Can I come with?"
Lu Fei excitedly suggested as he felt like a kid who got drowned in sugary water and then idiotically drank it all. Then it felt like he was on adrenaline or something. Hyper-Active kid, really.
"I'm Lu Fei by the way! Prankster-Extraordinaire!"
The kid said as he struck a pose. His left fist on his hips as his legs were evenly apart and aligned with his shoulders. A Giant V formed with the fingers that were on his right hand as he gave the brightest grin he could manage.
Then he heard the cranking of earth, the heavy stomps of a Graveler catching his attention as he whipped his head with an exaggerated manner. Feeling confident in his skills, given he did win a fair fight against a Geodude, he thought he could at least battle with this Graveler.
"Hey Rixie! There's a Graveler behind us. Let's battle it! Dibs on capture!"
Lu Fei joked as he sent his favorite pokemon forward, Sanzo already gearing up for battle as he swung his sword around, imitating a swordsman from the feudal era.
"Now Sanzo! Wash it away with Water Pulse!"
Lu Fei commanded as Sanzo obeyed. Sheathing his shell sword and conjuring up a ball of water. Firing it off in rings, the Water Pulse flew from his hands and towards the Graveler, intent on hurting it.

Rixie was just trying to find a tactful way to tell the boy that she didn't want him to accompany her. (The best thing she could think of was: Get lost!) But that's when the Graveler showed up. Just by looking at it and seeing how aggressive it was, she could see that it was really high level. "You idiot!" she shrieked. Nonetheless, now that he had started fighting, she wasn't about to leave him. "Seashell, get out here and use Rain Dance!"

"As hot headed as ever."
Laz scoffed as Jubei had quickly floated down. The Trainer quickly set to the skies with his Crobat, the purple beast moving at incredible speeds as they sped down the turf. Extending his hand, Laz grabbed a hold of Arcen's collar and forcibly threw him behind him.
"This'll be faster."
Laz commented as he directed his Crobat to swoop down close enough. Flying faster and in a burst of speed, the Crobat obeyed and sliced through the wind. "I'll drop you off the moment we pass those two. Get ready."
Laz said towards Arcen as they swept pass more rocks. Closer, closer, closer, the Crobat flew and in a few more seconds they just by passed the two. Laz was sure there was ample time for Arcen and Rix to do that chance-stare thing people did.
"Now!"
Laz said, signaling Arcen to drop off and take on the Graveler with his pokemon. "Cross Poison..." Laz whispered to his Crobat as Jubei halted a bit, swooping just above the Graveler before firing off a Cross Poison from the tips of his wings and flying off once more. Hopefully the theatrics was enough to distract everyone else and think that Arcen did most of the fighting.

The graveler would take the water attacks head on! It used defense curl two times, taking the cross poison. The two water attacks, knocked the boulder back quite a bit. It seemed to already be loosing the battle. It made a roaring noise, returning to its proper footing. It regained balance, but oddly began to glow a bright, dazzling white!
Its rough jagged edges became smooth & one piece. Its face formed on a head, as it became more turtle like. The white, piercing light finally dimmed as the pokemon was revealed to have evolved. "RSG!" It let out a strange roar! The beast called out, having back up appear. Each one let out a roar from afar, as their foot steps could slowly be heard.
From behind Laz & Arcen, two geodude were using roll out! They were determined to smash whatever was in their way! Returning focus to the golem, you'll see that two graveler have come to the golems' side!

"Alacer, aim Haze towards the Golem! Then send a Confuse Ray towards it and its Gravelers." The heavy ice-mist would reduce the Golem's defense stats back to normal, counteracting the Defense Curl. And it could potentially reduce visibility for the rock types, giving them less time to react to the Confuse Ray. As soon as Haze was complete, he called, throwing another pokeball into the air, "Rasoir, come on out and use Swords Dance before sending Iron Head towards that Geodude." With the Pawniard's attack raised by two stages, he charged head-on towards the Geodude that was rolling towards Arcen.

"C'mon Sanzo, we're supposed to be invincible! Use Focus Energy and another Water Pulse at the nearest Geodude!"
Lu Fei ordered his pokemon as Sanzo happily complied, feeling the threat and rush of a dangerous battle that may or may not spell their doom on things.
Getting down on all fours and closing his eyes for a moment, Sanzo gathered more of his inner self and raised his chances for a good critical hit. Standing up once more, the Oshawott gathered water and sent out a Water Pulse at his opponent again, wanting to deal more damage now.

The Tirtouga appeared in a flash of light and began to power up all the water type attacks with Rain Dance. "Now, Seashell, Aqua Jet at that Golem!" The Tirtouga lunged towards the Golem, the move giving her a rush of speed that did not seem fitting for her. Unfortunately, as soon as the move hit Haze began to descend over them, and her vision was lowered just as the Golem's was.
"Seashell!" she gasped. "Stay calm, and see if you can't find your way out of the mist."
"I hardly needed to be told," Seashell patiently waited it out, alert to every cue and watching carefully to be sure that the Golem didn't come rushing at her.
Rixie scowled and glared around. Where'd that come from?! But her thoughts were cut short when she saw Arcen, ordering his pokemon to assist them. Her breath caught. What's he doing here? And why is... he's... saving us. Her anger evaporated, she pulled out another pokeball and called, "Petal, come on out!" A small Oddish burst from its pokeball and wrapped its leaves cheerfully around Slate (who was still standing stock still between Rixie and the Golem as a defensive barrier). Well, she wrapped her leaves around the only part she could really reach anyways: his foot.
Rixie glanced at the thick icy fog which enshrouded the Golem, its two Graveler friends, and now her Tirtouga as well. "Petal, I need you to use Absorb on that Geodude," she gestured towards the Geodude that was facing the Oshawott. She was much less worried about Seashell being in the fog than Petal.

"Five of them, huh? Golem's gonna be a bit of a problem though."
Laz commented to his Crobat as he asked Jubei to set him down in a secluded area. Just making sure that his opponents couldn't see him as well as the people that Arcen was trying to help. He could let the guy play hero at least.
Picking out two of his pokeballs, Laz released his Piloswine and Walrein. The two pokemon huffing at the heat of the battle but nonetheless stayed quiet. "Freeze, use Ancient Power to drive their attention towards us. That should give the other Trainers a chance to attack. After that, Serene I want you to use Hail. Then use Blizzard as much as your body can take."
Laz instructed in a whispered tone as his pokemon quickly followed his instructions.
Freeze first came up with AncientPower, getting some energy before thrashing it towards the Golem, wanting to deal the most damage against the most cumbersome opponent first before Serene unleashed Hail, the weather instantly changing as chunks of ice began to fall from the skies.
Then they used Blizzard. Twice.
It was a bloody snowstorm, the Piloswine and Walrein casting out Blizzard as the massive amount of Ice energy scattered around the field, razing the arena with its devastating strength and all of them was aimed against the opponents. What made it worse was that after the first barrage, another set came down and did just as much if not more damage than the first one.

The pokemon were each dealt with appropriately! They all appeared to be pissed now! Its smart to get out of there while you can, but thats not gonna happen. Despite all of the weaknesses, each rock type stood firm against the attacks. The geodude stopping their roll out attacks to launch attacks against Arcen! The both used mud slap at his steel type pokemon. The golem & graveler seemed to have been weakened, but would attack anyway! The steam that rose from the ground beneath you, cleared up the haze. It was pretty hot, so any frigid air would most likely melt away.
The golem & graveler could see against! The ignored the pain they were in & launched stone edge at the group. Stones levitated in the air for a bit & darted off towards Laz's walrein. They each then launched more stone edges at the piloswine! After doing so, they finally realized they had forgotten about the turtle! They stared awkwardly at it, before launching bulldoze at the lonesome pokemon.

- They seem pissed!

"Both of you, out of the way!" Arcen growled. Rasoir instantly jumped aside, away from the Geodudes' Mud Slaps. "Rasoir, Metal Claw, right now!" Even as the Pawniard side-stepped, he leapt forward and his iron claws slashed against the Geodude.
Alacer, however, seemed to be caught up in the Blizzard! She struggled to regain control over her wings as it snowed down on her, and she found herself reeling closer towards the Tirtouga. "Alacer, no!" Arcen leapt forward, stumbled, clambered to his feet, and ran straight through the snow, jumping and reaching up to pluck Alacer out of the air. He tucked her beneath his body as he ducked onto the ground, but instead of using his hands to cover his own head, he used them to hold Alacer close to his chest.

"Crap crap crap crap DODGE!"
Lu Fei shrieked at his Oshawott who was busying trying to block every goddamn attack that was aiming at him with his Razor Shell combo. As it was, a few of them were getting through but those only accounted to nicks and scratches.
Good thing that none of the attacks were focused on Sanzo, lest he fall down and faint at the massive amount of shit he'd be under. The Oshawott wasn't afraid though, it was stupid enough to actually go head on and launch a Water Pulse at the Golem.

"Seashell! Protect!" The Tirtouga shut her eyes tightly, pulling up a shimmering green barrier around herself as the Bulldoze slammed against it. She froze with horror when she realized that Arcen had thrown himself between the Golem and his Zubat. Disbelievingly, she stared at him. "Petal, use Absorb to get the Golem away from him!" The small Oddish launched the greatest attack that she could manage towards the Golem, forcing it to face her instead of Arcen.

"Shatter it."
Laz ordered as both of his pokemon nodded. They were going to end this quickly, not wanting to endanger each other nor the other people that were with them, directly or indirectly.
As it was, the Stone Edge was quickly flying towards them but with experience in battling, the Walrein splashed out a Blizzard against it. The attack ripping through the Stone Edge and still going towards the lot of enemies. Freeze had only decided to tag along and make sure that the opponents really were down.
He sent out a Blizzard as well.
The Blizzard this time soared through the storm of Hail and ominously hung around the area of the Geodudes, Gravelers and Golem before attempting to smash them down to itty bitty pieces.

Each attack would land, though the attacks from oshawott & oddish would tickle. The family sized group of pokemon, would all come together. They had little energy left & couldnt keep it going. With their powers combined, they could summon captain planet hopefully end this! Each of them lined up, and rocks began to float around them! Each of them were using a powerful stone edge!
The stones would float & circle each of the rock made pokemon. "Geo. Gravel. Go." They all called out in sync. The stones would head in different directions, but generally aiming for the group over all. After launching the attack, you would all seem to be preoccupied to notice them all flee. Well, they all left but one of the geodude, it seemed to have fallen asleep after launching a powerful attack.
Where the attacks went: Golem: Laz's walrein Graveler: Rix's seashell Graveler: Arcen's paniward Geodude: Rix's oddish Geodude: Lu Fei's Oshawott
Summarize:
- Youre all being attacked, once again!
- They all fled.

Arcen wriggled away from from the Golem, keeping the Zubat out of harm's way. He thrust himself towards the shining green orb that was the Tirtouga's Protect ability, hoping to find a way into it. She turned and saw him, and nodded ever so slowly, letting it flicker down for just a moment, long enough for him to scramble in before pulling it back up. He gasped for breath, covered in debris and sporting several small bruises where he'd hit the stony ground. He held tightly to Alacer, running his hands over her again and again.
There was no time for him to call out orders towards Rasoir. Even if there was, he could barely see through the rocks that whirled all around him. Rasoir, sensing this, decided to take matters into his own hands. He did several backflips away from the fray, hiding himself behind a rocky outcrop that hopefully the stone edges would not be strong enough to breach. He didn't really feel like getting pummeled, not when he didn't have to.

"Ah! Shan, protect Sanzo!"
Lu Fei quickly ordered his Geodude who was also already out and about for the entire time, just not really getting any orders. With the command given, the Geodude rolled into action and roughly tackled the Oshawott away from the Geodude's dangerous attack.
"Geodu---" Was Shan's last words as the Stone Edge met face to face with his face. It wasn't a pretty sight as the Geodude was flung away, unconscious and sleeping soundly as it drifted into faint stuff. Lu Fei had also ordered his Oshawott to make sure that no other attacks got across as Sanzo stood vigilant even as the dust cleared and saw the opponents running.

Crying out as the stones begin to whirl all around, all Rixie was able to say was, "Petal!" She wanted to call Petal back to her pokeball, but there was so much confusion that she could hardly tell what was happening. Suddenly she was barreled over onto the ground and covered with a slab of stone. At first, she felt panic. Had a huge rock crashed into her? Was she going to be crushed? Then she realized that it was actually Slate's body as he stood over her. Petal whimpered audibly from beside her, and she understood. He had lumbered away, grabbed Petal, and then returned to protect them both with his own stony body.
She stared with wide eyes at his face, before turning to look for Seashell and Arcen. Was he still shielding Alacer? Brief seconds of horror turned to relief when she saw that he was crouched over his Zubat still, but now protected by Seashell. The Tirtouga was smart. Though Slate had instinctively grabbed and sheltered those he cared about, the Tirtouga had known to just hold her ground and use Protect.
As the family of rock pokemon fled and the stones clattered to the ground, Slate stiffly moved away from Rixie and Petal so as not to hurt them, and let himself finally sit down with a huge sigh of relief. Rixie was up and running her hands over his back, checking for injuries. When she found none, she turned and ran to where Seashell was letting her Protect flicker out of existence like a dying green orb of light. Arcen was still bent over with Alacer held tightly in his hands. Rixie shuffled her feet a bit, unsure of what to say. Socializing was not her strong point. Maybe I was wrong about him. Maybe he does actually care about his pokemon. "I-Is she... okay?"

"Both of you, block it!"
Laz swiped his command into his voice as they took effect. His loyal pokemon, barely in time to deflect the attack with their own, Ancient Power and Blizzard. The Stone Edge had managed to rip threw the Ancient Power but was decimated by the enormous blizzard. There enough distraction though that the opponents had managed to escape.
"Well, it was a good job either way. Doing most of the work if not all. Good job you two."
Laz said, giving the two pokemon a hearty hug before returning them to their pokeballs. With the commotion more or less over, Laz returned to the scene to meet up with Arcen. The red heads Crobat took him there swiftly, cutting through the air again and just landing slowly as to make sure the rider wasn't rattled.
