Having never had the chance to do so, Adriel found herself exploring the Gravity Cave. Though she was only in the first block, since she heard it can get pretty dangerous as you went in deeper. Not that she was worried she couldn't handle it, of course. But, all the same, she wanted to take her time and play it safe.
She had also heard that this was a good place to find Electric and Steel-type Pokemon, and she figured a Pokemon of either type would make a good addition to her team. While she didn't come here specifically to try and capture anything, she decided it wouldn't hurt to keep an eye out for anything that might be worth catching. If nothing else, she might get some good training out of it.

--- Not too far back from where the girl had entered, a lone Hippopotas had been resting. Being all alone, he didn't seem to care. Perhaps he had been separated from his group, or maybe he had left it, whatever the reason, it wasn't fully clear. Not far in front of the girl, however, there were many small foot prints. If the eyes were to travel up and follow them, a few figures would be seen. It seemed as if an Electrike was nipping at the heels of some straggling Durants. It was almost as if he was herding them. Meanwhile, out of a dark side cave beside the girl, a small Shieldon came rushing out, running passed the girl and hitting the opposite side of where it had run from. Falling over, it must have hit the wall pretty hard. Shieeeel.....don it would groan. - - - - - Options:A) Go check out the Hippopotas B) Follow the seemingly farm-like Electrike as it herds Durants C) Aw, poor Shieldon, see what's wrong D) Oh, side cave! Ignore everything and go down it

Taking note of each of the Pokemon, she considered following the Electrike and group of Durrant...until the Shieldon came crashing through the room. She winced as it crashed into the wall, and she couldn't not check up on it. Going up to it, looked over it, checking to see if there were any injuries. "Hey there, little guy. Are you alright?"

--- Chasing and herding the Durants further and further, the Electrike would soon become none visible thanks to the darkness. This was a trait shared with the Durants, who too were consumed by the darkness. The Hippopotas, however, was still visible, but was still laying down, all serious like. Hearing the girl, Shieldon looked to the girl and blinked. She slowly got to his feet and just looked at the girl. While most Shieldon's liked to polish their crests, this Shieldon's had some small, but visible dents. It would seem as if she wasn't into polishing it. Turning her head from the girl, she took a step back, then charged into the wall again. After hitting, she reared up on her back feet, then came crashing down at the wall again. "Shieeel...don" she groan, staggering on her feet before taking some steps, ready to attack the wall again. - - Options:A) Go and chase the vanishing Pokemon B) Poke the Hippopotas C) Sit and watch the Shieldon D) Try to stop it from what it was doing

She sat on the ground and watched quietly as the Shieldon continued to crash into the wall, curious as to just what it was trying to accomplish. It was a rather strange sight...though, she's seen stranger. Either way, she sent out her Weepinbell, then nodded as she whispered to him "Pain, go see if you can figure out what it's doing." The Weepinbell nodded, and wandered over to her, speaking to her in his own language <...so...uh...what are you doing?> Yep...real subtle.

Looking to the girl who seemed to be interested in watching her, the Shieldon brushed the ground with her hoof. Her eyes narrowed and she began running at the wall. She did, however, stop once the Weepinbell came out of the ball. She blinked briefly, then eyed it up and down as it questioned her intentions. "Training...Daddy wanted a boy but got me instead. His crest is all bumps and dents, so I thought I'd make mine like his, make it stronger to impress him" she explained to the Grass type. Now, looking away from the Grass type, she charged toward the wall once more.

The Weepinbell blinked as the Shieldon explained her actions, and nodded <I see! Well, if that's all it is, then I know an easier way to get stronger! Join my me and my trainer!> The Weepinbell nodded, then continued. <Until recently, I was just a Bellsprout. But with her help, I was able to evolve. And so were all my teammates! So you should come with us!> It was times like this that she wished she could understand what Pokemon were saying...but, hopefully, Pain knew what he was doing.

The Shieldon stopped once again and eyed up the very chatty Weepinbell. It really liked to blabber. And the blabbering just stopped her from more practice. "And yet you still aren't a Victreebell yet, I see" she scoffed. But her snide remark was soon matched with a sigh. She looked to the trainer, then to the Grass type. At least the trainer seemed a bit competent. "I'll join you both on one condition...She brings me back here when I'm all grown up so I can show off to my dad. Maybe beating his butt will show him I'm better than any son he could of ever had!" she told the other Pokemon. Thanks to her head bashing however from today, she wasn't in the right mind to battle, so she would just be willing to join if the trainer wanted her.

The Weepinbell huffed a little at her comment <Yeah well...unlike you, I need a stone to reach my final form. I'm sure she'll find one eventually.> The Weepinbell then went over to Adriel and, though a few quick games of charades, was able to tell her, at the very least, the gist of what the Shieldon told him. She nodded quietly and looked to the Shieldon. "So you want to become stronger, eh?" She nodded, pulling out an Empty Poke Ball. "All you need to do is get in this. Then I'll be able to train you." And with that, she lightly tossed the ball at the Shieldon...throwing it seemed like overkill, considering she was willingly letting herself be captured.

Watching carefully as the Weepinbell went to its owner, she sat down. Eying the wall she had used, she debated running at it some more again. Deciding against that, she waited for the trainer. When the trainer asked her a question, the Shieldon stood up and nodded to her. She really wanted to be a lot stronger. When she tossed the ball at her, she jumped for it, going to headbutt it, only she went to hard. Her head bashed against it and the ball shattered. Landing on the ground, she pawed the broken ball. Looking to Adriel, she looked back down, pawning the ball once again.

Adriel let out a sigh as the Shieldon unintentionally destroyed the empty Poke Ball, pulling out a second. "Good thing the school gives these out for free. Alright...let's try this again...just...don't try to do anything, okay? Let the ball hit you." She nodded, then tried again...this time, she actually threw the ball, instead of lightly tossing it. Hopefully, if the Shieldon did something out of reflex, the speed and force of the ball would make up for it. One could only hope...she only had so many empty balls.

Shieldon was caught! She has a Bold personality and is quite aggressive. Despite this, she isn't that bright -- she ran into walls to toughen herself up. Very determined, she will hold you to the promise made! Shieldon has the Sturdy ability.
