|I might catch something|
Coralie set out over the plains, her backpack of supplies over one shoulder and Hailey flying overhead. The Pidgey was growing fast, and her feathers all looked gorgeous and shiny. The picture of health. Of course, all of Cora's Pokemon looked just as well. She was an aspiring breeder, after all, and always made sure her Pokemon looked and were in tip top shape.
Finding a sloping hill, Coralie sat down, and slipped her backpack off. Then she let the rest of her team (including the two babies) out. Sailor and Sherwood giggled and started wrestling playfully, mostly just rolling and tumbling down the slope. Coralie laughed, making sure they didn't get hurt, but overall okay with them playing. Dolly (Thug) lay down, letting the sun warm his wool. Of course, since he couldn't see, he made a pretty obvious target. Xue was out of his pokeball for once, but obviously not the happiest. He was ready to go somewhere cold.
Coralie, content enough, lay back and closed her eyes.

--- The Plains, as usual, were quiet. A light breeze would pass by every so often and the air it moved stayed very fresh. The clean air was a wondrous thing for any and all Pokemon. In fact, three more were clearly out, not just Cora's. A Timburr was off to the young girls side. The piece of wood it carried around was standing straight upwards. On top, balancing was the Timburr. In front of the girl and her group was something rustling in the ground. Shyly and constantly peeking out of it, a little Tepig grunted as it peeked at the girl and her team. Finally, to the opposite side of Cora, across from the Timburr, a small pink blob waddled around. It was a Ditto. - - - - Options:A) ATTACK EVERYTHING! B) Go up to one of the Pokemon that has appeared C) Stay and rest

Coralie sat up and opened her eyes when she heard a rustling in front of her. There in the grass, was a Tepig playing peek-a-boo. "Aww," She cooed, covering her face as it pulled back, then pulling her hands away to make a silly face at the little pig. Sailor, a curious look on his face, waddled over to the little pig. "Squirt?" 'Hi, who are you?'
Smiling, Coralie noticed something out of the corner of her eye. It was pink and squishy. Which sounded very wrong. Turning, she gasped as she recognized every breeders' dream. A Ditto. She nearly had a heart attack. Actually, she pictured herself dying and going to heaven. Then she managed to regain her brain's functions and gestured for Hailey to stick close to her.
"Hi little guy." She called to it as she walked closer.

Seeing the Squirtle and the trainer notice itself, the Tepig shuffled back into the grass. Being a bit shy, it had been trying to get a look at what was going on. It wasn't that great at being sneaky however. Instead of coming out when it was noticed, it stayed behind the rustling blades of grass. The Ditto looked to the girl as she got closer and blinked its tiny eyes a few times. Turning away from her, it began to wabble-walk once more, continuing in the same direction as before.

She didn't want to leave the Tepig, but she knew that that Ditto was very likely a once in a blue moon sort of thing. Then again, it seemed sort of rude, and until she was breeding for other people more often, she didn't really have much use for it. "Fine, then." she muttered, before turning back to the once-more hidden Tepig. Getting down on her knees, she brushed the grass out of the way.
"Hi, there. Don't be scared." Cora reassured, while Sailor nodded and let out a happy "Squirt!"

The Ditto didn't reply, just kept slinking along. It didn't care one bit if it was being followed or not. It was going from Point A to Point B, so it didn't mind being left alone. So it ignored the girl as she left it alone. The Tepig, however, was now startled when the girl startled her. "PIG!" it shouted before biting down on the blue haired girls hand. Despite not having any teeth yet, the gums of the bite may still have hurt. It hadn't liked being startled and was now scared, but as it bit, it turned into nibbling before it smiled. It felt good on its gums.

"Ouch!" Coralie gasped when the Tepig first went for her hand. Then she realized it didn't have any teeth yet. Coralie watched as the little piglet began nomming on her hand, and a little smile crossed it's face. Cora couldn't help but smile back. Letting her hand be the Tepig's new chew toy, she started to talk to the scared little creature.
"I'm sorry I scared you sweetie. Would you like to be friends with us?"

As the girl talked, the Tepig nibbled away. It had bitten her out of fear, but now it was falling asleep. It let out a little snort and munched away. "Pi-i-i-ig" it groaned as it began to slowly go to sleep by the girl. While it rested, a new grunt came up through the Plains. Looking around the Plains was a Pignite. Sniffing the air, it seemed to be in a grumpy mood. And it was heading toward the girl and her Pokemon!

Cora laughed as the baby fell asleep, and slowly extracted her fingers from its' mouth. They were all slobbery, but mostly unharmed. She stroked the piglet's sides, not about to leave the poor child while it slept. Suddenly, she heard something approaching, and turned to see...a Pignite?! And it didn't look very happy, either.
"Hailey, get ready for a fight if it comes to that." Cora whispered, then stood up. "Uh, hi there! What's wrong?"

The Tepig nuzzled into the ground as the girl petted it. It let out little grunts of happiness, no noticing the Pignite showing up. The Pignite was related to the Tepig. It was his daddy. Despite being young, it had mated with a much older Emboar. It wasn't going to get any action from the Emboar any time soon because it had lost the Tepig. If it wanted any action, he'd have to find and bring back the Tepig. When he sniffed it out, he walked passed the girl, grabbed the Tepig by the tail and began to drag it off. "PIIIIIIIIIIG!" Tepig squealed out, not knowing what was going on.

Coralie was horrified when the Pignite grabbed the Tepig so roughly and just dragged it off. Even if it was the baby's parent, he wasn't qualified. She glared. "Hey! What do you think you're doing? Stop being a jerk!" She gestured for Hailey to take flight, and head towards him. She would've issued a command, but she didn't want to hurt the Tepig. Hailey dove down and landed in front of the Pignite, puffing her feathers up to look bigger. "Stop right there!"

The Pignite turned around angerly and held the Tepig up by its curly tail. Tossing the small pig to the side, Pignite took in a deep breathe. It then, out of nowhere, fired an Ember attack at the Pidgey. "You stay outta this! That's my brat and it ran off! I have to bring it hom before I can get anymore sex! Now let me drag it's ass back home!" it remarked to the Pidgey that had challenged him.

Cora was horrified at the sudden throw of the Tepig and then the ember. She hurried over and picked up the poor Tepig, murmuring reassurance. Hailey barely fluttered out of the way, and to say she was unhappy was an understatement. She looked at Coralie for a command, and when Cora nodded, she took to the air, and flapped hard, sending a gale of wind back down at the pig.

The Pignite hadn't gotten to mate and keep the Emboar mate by being a push over or emotion-filled. It grunted at the group and eyed the bird like Pokemon. When the Pidgy began flapping her wings, the Pignite jumped backwards, avoiding the Flying attack. Crouching down, he pushed off of the ground with a tremendous force, aiming to use Take-Down on the bird. He had enough force from his push to reach the other, but it would bring him in closer, however.

Hailey wasn't high enough up to avoid it, but maybe she could get an attack in before it hit her. "Wing Attack!" Cora commanded, watching as Hailey tried to flutter too high up for the Pignite to reach.
Hailey brought her wings down hard, trying to hit him over the head with the force. As the two connected though, she was knocked from the sky, landing on the ground and struggling to get back to her feet.
"Sand Attack!"
Hailey blew up a bit more wind, this time throwing sand at the Pignite's face.

As the two connected, the Pignite flew backwards. The Take-Down hurt him with the recoil. That, plus the Wing Attack now had him weak. He was breathing heavily now. Glaring the entire time now, his eyes were splattered with sand and dirt, he began brushing it away. He wasn't able to react now, too busy attempting to clean his eyes.

She wasn't going to miss an opportunity. She had to beat this thing. She could feel the power flooding her veins. Evolution was close for her. Every battle was another step forward.
"Air Slash!" Coralie called out, surprising the bird. Coralie didn't usually give them any of their higher-end moves. Not until she was confident they were strong enough to really be able to use them. That meant...she trusted Hailey. Hailey chirped happily, then flew into position. Her wings came down at such an angle that she split the air, sending it flying at the Pignite.

Panting more than usual, the Pignite really wasn't doing well. He wasn't fighting smart, he was fighting stupid. When the Pidgey came at him again, he went to side step, but failed. Being caught by the attack, he flew back. Hitting the ground, he rolled back, and was soon out of sight. He had either fainted, or he had now ran off, too embarrassed to continue. The Tepig slowly got up and blinked. Rushing to the girl, it smiled happily. Snorting a little, it rubbed it's snout against the girls hand. It seemed overjoyed.

She blinked, then shrugged, "Good job, Hailey!" She called, scratching the bird's head as she flew over and perched on Cora's knee. As she did, though, the Tepig also rushed over.
"Aww, hey. Glad you approve of my actions." Cora smiled, pulling her hand away, wiping it on her jeans (eew, pig boogers!) and then scratching the little piglet behind the ears. "Is your whole family like that?"

The Tepig kept snorting happily as the girl petted him. It really enjoyed the affection. It wasn't all too used to it. Most of the attention he got involved neglect, so this was much appreciated. When he was asked a question from her, he didn't know how to answer her. The Tepig glanced up to her and let out a sad snort, before crawling into her lap and resting.

She continued stroking it's back and side, paying special attention to the piglet's soft ears. It seemed sweet, and Coralie would never be able to turn her back on a young one.
"Do you want me to help you find your mommy?" She asked, giving the Tepig a quick hug as it crawled into her lap. "If she hurts you, too, though...You could always come with me. I could be your new mommy..."

Tepig glanced at the girl, nuzzling into her. He was a bit nervous with the attention, but this nice attention was what he had always longed for. He liked this a lot more than what his father gave him. He shook his head when the girl offered to help find his mom, but pawed her stomach as she offered to be his new mommy. That would be appreciated and very nice for him. He'd happily accept.

It would take a while for the Tepig to forget about his neglected start in the world, but hopefully with Cora and Ty's insane poke-family it would find a place to fit right in. It wouldn't have to constantly be around the kind of abuse and neglect he seemed to get. Coralie, of course, would never raise a hand against him. She just hoped she could help him reach his true potential, what with their being so many babies in their little family unit.
"Alright, you can come with us, then." Cora grabbed her bag, and pulled out one of the five pokeballs she received on every excursion. She gently tapped it against the Tepig's body, watching and waiting for a capture...
