This was where her new dorm, the Black Dorm, was located. Amalia gulped inaudibly as she looked around the place. It was rather depressing, being out in almost the middle of nowhere. But at least she was enrolled, and that she was happy about. Feeling a gently nudge on her hand, the girl looked down at her new companion, King the Cranidos. Smiling gently, she rubbed the top of his head and earned a cry of approval from him. Carrying her luggage with one hand, she looked ahead to see the dormitory building just a few yards away. Before she had decided to get her stuff all packed and sorted when she arrived at the dorm, she made the choice to look for some wild Pokemon to join her and her new partner. Taking a deep breath, she slowly let it out and walked forward, hoping to run into some wild Pokemon.

A Rattata lay asleep in the down of tall, soft grass underneath the shade of a large fruit-bearing tree. The dormant Pokemon was probably waiting for a piece of food to fall down so that it could snatch it up.
A Doduo stalked around the plains in search of something, likely food. Its two heads seemed to be struggling, though, as each head wanted to go off in a different direction than the other.

Having a feeling that it was looking for food, she dug into her bag and pulled out some food that she had packed mainly for herself. It was a loaf of bread that she pulled out, and as she unwrapped a bit of it out of the plastic wrap, she pulled off two large chunks of bread for the Doduo.
Looking ahead, she slowly walked towards the two-headed bird Pokemon, placing down the chunks of bread a few feet away from it, then backed away slowly to see what it would do.

The Rattata awoke at the smell of fresh bread; his super sensitive nose had lead him on. As the bread hit the ground, he darted for it and snatched a piece in his mouth. Once he was very far away, he stopped to watch the Doduo fight over the remaining piece while nibbling on the stolen good. The Doduo would squabble over what they had before finally gulping it down together and then both heads looked toward the girl. They took steps toward her, willing to take more bread by force if she wasn't going to offer more.

"Okay, okay. Here you go!" she spoke with a smile as she tore off more pieces of bread, giving one piece to the Rattata and two pieces for each of the heads of the Doduo. She even gave a piece to her Cranidos, King.
Smiling as she watched the Pokemon eat the food, she decided to eat a piece herself, chewing it down slowly to enjoy the flavor and texture.

The purple mouse scurried away, leaving only the double-headed bird who was still hungry. It pecked at the girl's hand, wanting more food. This time, it would try its best to peck flesh and let her know that if she enjoyed her fingers, she'd just drop the entire bag of bread.
