[I'm catching a Pokemon!]Dante enjoyed the spooky, eerie feeling of the mansion. Once in a while, he would hear random stories about how Ghost Pokemon made their home here, and that other scary things happen, more notably, finding Tao.
Dante was already sure his soul was doomed, so if something just managed to eat it, he believed that he would end up winning in the end. Smirking, he opened up the front gate and snuck inside.
"This is some scary shit, ain't it, Accia?" Dante said to his new Pokemon, a cute little Mawile. "Look, there's the front door. Let's see if we can't sneak around and get scared, if only a bit." Dante laughed, slightly coldly. An avid fanatic of horror movies and thrillers, nothing would satisfy Dante's lust for thrills than starring in his own horror story. Pushing up his glasses, the young trainer picked the lock to the front door. He struggled a bit before Accia, the Mawile pushed the door open. "How convenient. The door was already open. Thanks, Acci." Dante sighed, and put his pickpocket kit (a trusty set of bent paperclips and Melody's hair pins) away. Looking around, Dante cracked his knuckles and smirked confidently, while Accia looked just as determinate. "Alright, let's see what's in here."[/blockquote]

- Mod Post - Your own scary story huh? Well, do try to enjoy this house of horrors. Opening the stereotypically creaky wooden door, you just entered the Mansions equivalent to a level 1 stage. This should be fairly easy. The halls are pretty bland. Just the normal old crimson paint job and curtains and vases and roses and tables and windows everywhere. Just some pretty basic stuff. You might be able to find a few more interesting choices down the hall though. Maybe a multicolored one somewhere, hell, you might even get lucky and have a pokemon pop out of bloody no where. Oh look, there's one now. Across you, a lazy Gastly flittered about, phasing through the wall once and looking at you before moving towards the next wall and phasing through it as well. Looks like it didn't give much attention to you. Choices: >Continue >Leave - Mod Post -

Accia's little heart began to pound faster, not because she was scared, but because she was getting excited that further along the path she WOULD get scared. The little Mawile jumped in place, nudging at her unamused trainer to move on forward.
Dante, of course, had no intentions of backing out yet. The Gastly seemed interesting enough, and a ghost Pokemon would be a handy addition to his team. Anything that can cross through walls was troll-material he could use in the future.
"Okay, Acc-chan, we have two objectives. The first one, find a Ghost-type." Dante said, then switched his face to a scarier, darker thing smile. "The second one... is to come out alive. Hehehehehahahabwahahahaha." The laugh alone was enough to make Accia retreat behind Dante, until she realized that Dante himself was the source of the evil laughter. "Heh. Don't worry, Accia. We'll come out alive. Push comes to shove, the headmaster finds us and I have to serve detention." Dante said, reassuring the little Mawile. Of course, this could all be far from the truth. Dante overheard stories of people coming here, getting haunted, he even heard that this is where students that have 'disappeared' are either sent to, or found their demise here. Whether they were true or not, he just wanted his Pokemon to be reassured. "Now, let's move on, we're here to catch a Pokemon, and see what happens in haunted houses before Halloween begins." Dante winked at Accia, before stretching lazily. He took a quick look at the tables and the insides of the vases, in hopes that that he would find something, Resident Evil style. More than likely, he would be wasting his time, Accia seemed to notice too, as she pulled on Dante's short's left leg. "Be patient, Accia. It's better to look around and find random shit. Like this flower I stole from the vase." Dante picked up a beautiful sole rose from the vase, ignoring the prick, and new blood-stains on his gloves. "Oww. It's better to have and not need, than need and not have. If we don't need it later on, there's the possibility of giving this to a girl, or some shit." After 'conversing' with his Pokemon, Dante sighed and continued on. This place was getting kinda boring.[/blockquote]

- Mod Post - No shit. Of course level 1 would be boring unless the difficulty is cranked up to 11 out of 10. Well, with that thought in mind, you at least didn't chicken out this early in the game. After your conversation and the diligent looking for stuff in these old vases around the place, you at least found a Rose. Hm, that might come in handy to some green haired girl that roams around the music halls but hey, I wouldn't know. Well, as per tradition, the main hero, that being you, would of course be faced with several decisions over the course of your journey. Now, either going left or right might seem like an easy choice but then again, who knows right? Maybe that ticking clock in between the two halls might have the answer, I'm not sure. Dante looked at his watch, which seemed to have turned itself off somehow. More than likely, it was just the repercussions of jumping in the water with it still attached.
Dante approached the clock. Despite the fact that his mathematical skills were top-notch, as a child, and even to this day, he always had a basic fundamental problem: he couldn't read analog clocks to save his life.
"What an eyesore." Dante scratched his neck. "I bet you it doesn't even work or something." Accia tried hitting the clock with her 'mouth,' just to see what happened, but the clock seemed to stay in place. "It's not a vending machine, Accia." Dante sighed. "We're not getting any free sodas this time around. Let's just check around this clock, see if there's anything around and we can move on." Accia growled inquisitively, almost as if asking her trainer where they were headed. "That's a good question." Dante nodded. "But instead of flipping a coin, let's think outside the box, and see what the clock says. Wherever the big hand is pointing, we'll go. Unless it's some bullshit time like 12:00 or something. Then we'll go left if that crap happens."[/blockquote]

- Mod Post - With all the knocking of the obviously trapped clock, a booming sound happened before everything became silent. There was no sound, not even anything. Not your breathing or your heart, hell I don't think you can even hear yourself think. Everything was just passing by in slow mo as the Grand Father Clock opened up to reveal a sleeping Alakazam. Obviously, it wasn't sleeping anymore as it opened its eyes and was probably the sole reason why everything was like this. With a wave of his hand, the Alakzam forcibly teleported you outside the building. Looks like you're back to Square 1. You have a new entry way at least. On a side note, get caught two more times and you're more or less being booted out. Choices: > Try Again (2 more tries) > Leave - Mod Post -

"Good one." Dante grimaced, before scratching the back of his neck. Accia growled softly, as if to apologize to her trainer. "Ahh, daijobou ne. Let's just try to get through this a bit... more quieter. Think you can do that?" Accia nodded a bit, flailing her maw around, it hit Dante on the leg. "Oww. Let's... let's move on." Dante sighed, rubbing his leg slightly. Once again, Dante found himself in the eerie halls of Headmaster Tao's mansion. He placed his finger on his lips and nodded at Accia, as a reminder to be as inconspicuous and quiet as possible. Having checked around the area already, Dante essentially just moved on. If the Alakazam were to still be awake, Dante would think twice before even standing near the clock. If not, then he'd follow his first intuition and sneak around the clock and take the left-bound path.[/blockquote]

- Mod Post - Of course, having you go through level 1 all over again would just be a waste of time. So for now, the entrance you took had, rather than bringing you back to where you began, allowed you to directly go over to level 5 of the Mansion. Now, there's gotta be some kind of Ghost pokemon here that would be worthwhile. Then again, there was a Bloody Alakazam on the 1st floor so we never know. Being here though, the hall way began to darken, as if all the light was being sucked away by some kind of malignant spirit. Numerous sounds began to flop around the room. The sounds of wet flip flops echoing through the darkening hall as an old rickety chandelier flickered in and out of consciousness. Soon enough, you'd find a continuous line of photo's being hanged up by a clothesline. The thing itself was filled with several photos that had anything in them as the clothesline extended indefinitely through the darkness. Maybe there's something you have to find? Dante scratched his chin, smirking. "Okay, now this is more like it." Taking out his signature drumsticks, he began juggling them with his left, as he looked down at Accia, who was trembling slightly. Smiling, he knelt down and pet the terrified Mawile. Nodding at her confidently, he tried to instill some bravery in her. It seemed to be working. "Let's move on... but quietly." Dante whispered. "Shhh." Inspecting the pictures, Dante nodded inquisitively, while Accia looked around for anything of interest, possibly something she could give her trainer, that would make him happy! "Huh. Interesting... I think." Dante said softly, trying not to touch the pictures on the clothesline, which he kept on following, inspecting each picture for some kind of clue.[/blockquote]

- Mod Post - Well, those photos sure look interesting. Well, this should be quick. Along the clothesline, the final one appearing on a dead end. On that wall, once you have arrived, it seemed to look like it was flickering, not unlike that of a TV without cable. But on the ceiling just above it, there were three photos. Much larger than the others that you have previously seen and if you so dare touch it, ripples would begin to form. It almost looked like a portal. "For fuck's sake. Did Tao spend too much time playing Super Mario 64 or something?" Dante sighed, 'teasing' the pictures with his fingers, amused at his own immature actions. Crossing his arms, he looked down at Accia. "So, what do you think, girl? Which one's leading us to the next Power Star?" Accia, who had obviously never played the aforementioned game that Dante wouldn't stop referencing, simply looked around at the strange pictures, then at the TV. All seemed like excellent choices, and she couldn't help but stare at the broken TV. Dante nodded, and knelt down near the TV. "You think this teleports us around too? What if it's just a run-of-the-mill TV that's just going to project an evil message that will have us killed in a fixed amount of days? Screw that. How am I gonna be awesome if I'm dead?" Accia growled softly, almost as if slightly agreeing with her trainer's farfetched statement. Yet, there was something about the TV that enticed the small Mawile. She tugged at Dante's shorts and tried to convince him to walk through the TV. "Fine, fine. Knock it off, or my pants are dropping. Last thing I want to do is be at the Headmaster's place with my pants around my ankles." Dante said, softly swatting at Accia's persistent hands. Shrugging, the drummer took out an old drumstick from his bag. No way in hell was he going to use his good sticks. Instead, the poor wooden entity looked almost destroyed by what can only be described as 'intense, violent drumming.' Twirling the stick in his hands expertly, Dante took a deep breath. Stopping the twirl, partially because the stick gave him a splinter, he decided to test the TV, by pushing the drumstick onto the screen. If Accia was correct, then Dante's drumstick would go to wherever the TV led to. If not... well, that's two splinters Dante would have to pry off his hands.[/blockquote]

- Mod Post - Smart choice, if anything. As them drum sticks touched the screen, a ripple effect occurred. The TV had then began to screech and open up into some kind of demonic blood splattering scene and on it was a pair of mismatched hands slowly creeping up your body and tugging you into its depths. After said event, you'll find yourself in a room, no windows, a ceiling and a lone chained door. On the center is a single love seat and a girl, awfully pale who had her hair reaching all around the room. A sickly stench would fill the room as her bony fingers would crack with every movement. Wisps of black smoke would appear from her hair, and if you were paying attention enough, there could be something more sinister lurking in these depths.

For once, Dante's lack of fear was beginning to whittle away. Not that it was a bad thing, he came here to get scared, and he was getting his wish. He was having fun, even. As the two stared in unison at the girl in front of them, both trainer and Pokemon approached the girl slowly. Dante tried to ignore the stench that was, quite frankly, too much. His stomach turned a bit, but he kept walking towards her.
Accia stopped in her tracks, as she watched Dante push forward. Dante turned to see his Pokemon, and gestured at her to go to his side. Slowly, Accia made her way towards Dante.
Dante said nothing, his trademark smirk wasn't even there. He simply stared at the girl, his breathing becoming a bit more loud. Accia trembled in fear, especially as she saw her trainer being much less fazed. Of course, in actuality, Dante was much more scared internally, and was great at hiding it.

- Mod Post - And as such, the tangles of hair began to rustle and whistle in a tune as the temperature suddenly dropped. There was no rhyme or reason to how the normal room temperature suddenly became freezing as cold, cold ice began to cover the corners of the room, even even start coating the hair of the girl and the ceiling of the room itself. The girl just sat there, beginning to hum an off key and childish tune to herself as she began to brush her hair with her dead looking fingers. "Mama has a present, a present for me~ Mama has a present, a present for me~ I wonder, wonder what it is~ A little key, little key of silver and black~ A little rope, little rope of strings attached~ Or maybe~ Just Maybe~"
Slowly, the girl suddenly began laughing maniac like, her dead fingers twirling her hair together before pulling down on them like a psycho as her screams began to vibrate the walls as she looked at you, behind those sickly dark greenish black hair. A completely yellow eye blopped out of it, a red iris in the very center scrutinizing your very soul. "Maybe that present is You."
And as such, the little girl suddenly stood up, her fingers breaking off of her hand as rusty flakes of blood began to drip down as she raised her hand and pointed the stumps that were her fingers at you. Slowly, the hair began to twirl around your feet and a cute little Litwick looking at you above the girl.

"I..." Dante said, looking down at his feet, as they began to get ensared in the girl's hair. "I'm flattered, really, but I'm no present. I'm too much of an asshole for that. Plus, I don't look good in a bow, it makes me look much more effeminate... and it's taken me so long to not look so much like a girl anymore." Accia began to growl, but Dante shook his head, and took out her Poke Ball. "No point in keeping you out, girl, if your feet get stuck like mine, you're gonna be stuck here for a while. Return." Pressing the button in the Middle, Accia returned to her ball via a crimson laser-like beam. As he returned back to her home, Dante took out a new ball. "I haven't used you yet, but... let's see how this works out. Go, Avi!" The Starly that came out of the ball hooted softly. Dante nodded as he saw the Pokemon fly towards his shoulder and land there. "Alright, see that little Litwick there?" He said softly. "That's the weak-point, probably."
Avi stared at the Litwick and hooted loudly. "<Hey, man. That's not cool at all, man. Leave my trainer-guy alone, dude.>"Dante sighed, unaware of what he was hooting too, but it was right in his ear, and it was becoming unnerving. But he knew too well that angering that thing wasn't going to go well for him, or Avi. Yet, Dante was getting annoyed with his legs being immobilized by hair. "This is balls, man." Dante scoffed. "That's not what I meant when I said that hair was an enticing part of a girl." Avi hooted, waiting for his trainer's command. "Ow, not in the ear, dammit." Dante twitched, the loud hoot penetrating his ear-drum loudly. "Wing Attack, now!" As Dante snapped his finger, a custom he usually did when commanding a Pokemon attack, the Starly began flying, a bit lazily, towards the Litwick in the background, his wings just about ready to strike the candle Pokemon.[/blockquote]

- Mod Post - Easily enough, the unknowing Litwick was hit with a devastating Wing Attack. The nigh impossible chance of getting in a Critical Hit was actually met as the Litwick was sent flying through the girl. Where one would expect to have the girl fall back from the impact of the little Litwick hitting her on the chest... She Didn't. With that first reaction, others would expect her to disappear like smoke or for the Litwick to simply pass through her as she was or probably could be a malificent spirit wanting to haunt those who were unlucky enough to reach this certain room of the headmasters mansion. As such, that didn't happen either. What happened exactly was that the girl exploded into glass, as the room itself began to shatter into pieces of glasses that began to rain down to show a pristine black room, all of it black and devoid for the light as the only thing one can see was the door and the little Litwick that was lying on the floor with tear stains on her face.

Dante's footsteps were loud, harsh, and echoed throughout the whole room. As he walked towards the Litwick, his eyes ablaze with anger and vengance, he took out a sole Poke Ball. Completely empty, the young trainer had his objective in mind.
He didn't plan to catch it right away. No, no. He heard it crying, and he knew too well that he wanted to deliver his ultimatum before he did the inevitable.
"Alright, jackass." Dante said, closely approaching the Litwick. His smirk faded into an emotionless, yet cold stare. "What do you have to say for yourself?" Avi flew lazily around his trainer, the soft flapping of his wings the only noise in the then-quiet room. Dante looked down at the Litwick as he finally made his way to the candle-like Pokemon. There was one emotion the young drummer, or anyone who knew him would simply not expect. A simple, soft blush. "Oh... my fucking... god." Dante whispered to himself. "Dear Lord Solati, this is the cutest thing ever in existance." Avi's flying ended abruptly, in fact, he fell in mid-air and crashed onto the floor. Hooting inquisitively, the Starly was actually quite bewildered now. "Now I feel like such a dick." Dante said, kneeling down to see the Litwick closer. Dante smiled softly, his eyes softly closing as he looked down at the crying Pokemon. "There, there, don't cry." Dante reassured the Pokemon, before accidentally adding the next statement with his equally sweet voice. "Or I'll give you something to cry about, dear." Avi hid behind his trainer's legs, he seemed quite unnerved by Dante's sudden break into a good mood. But then again, that seemed to be Dante's weakness: cute things. Dante, of course, turned to Avi. "No telling anyone about my change in mood, capisce? Can't let anyone know I'm going soft." Avi simply hooted, as if understanding. "<You're a weird one, maaan.>"Well, maybe not. "Now... cute or not, you still managed to scare the living shit out of me... and I commend you for that. So, here's the deal. I catch you, you get stronger, we live happily ever after, blah blah fucking blah." Dante said, his normal demeanor returning to him. His ball firmly gripped around his hand. Smirking, Dante tapped the ball against the Litwick, hoping he catched the cute little thing.[/blockquote]

"And then there were four." Dante sighed, picking up and subsequently putting the Poke Ball back in his pocket. He looked closely at the door across from him, looking down at Avi, then back at the door. "Think that's the exit, Avi?" Dante asked, shrugging. "If the ride comes to an end now, that's okay. I feel like I need to shower after all that crap." Avi hooted loudly. "<Alright, man! We should, like, totally go to the hot springs, dude. You'd probably lose some of your funk there, maaan.>"Dante shrugged, understanding Avi's excitement, but that was about it. He didn't speak bird. "Yeah. Let's get out of here." Dante scratched the bottom of his chin, then pushed the door open.[/blockquote]
