The walk over to the Volcano had been surprisingly quiet. Even though that they were supposed to talk about their partnership. Although there had been a serious lack of talking. Just quietly walking and sipping of the Soda. It was a bit awkward, but hopefully with time it would become less so. And they would be talking up a storm even without anything to really be talking about. Hopefully whenever they got back to dorm. Ven would know how to play a round of Brawl. And then maybe, just maybe. He would actually have a human opponent to fight again. I mean, he fought against a couple of his pokemon. Corsola can't play before of no thumbs. Shinx tried to play but just ended up getting frustrated and shocking the controller. Fir played for a little bit. But her leaves were to large to press the correct buttons. Ryohei tried playing but his gloves got in the way. And then there was Zarbon. Zarbon played a single match with Speedy. And then Speedy never wanted to fight against Zarbon again. Zarbon used it's psychic energy to move the controller. Let's just say, Zarbon new how to Brawl. And then again, he whooped up on Speedy pretty badly.
Speedy took the last sip of his Soda. Tossing it into a pool of Lava. Ehh It's not considered littering if your trash is melted. The two were getting kinda close to the top. The Pools of Lava were becoming more and more frequent. No doubt this is where fire pokemon appear more so than anywhere else. That's exactly what Speedy wanted, to catch a Fire type Pokemon.

Speedy's heart sank as he heard foot steps approaching from the opposite way he was facing. *Crap Crap Crap. I've been caught.* He thought to himself. "Hey Speedy! Its been a while." The mysterious voice said. The trainer stood there, thinking back. He knew that voice. He knew it very well. It was someone whom he met a long while ago. "Raize?" He muttered turning around facing towards the other trainer. As soon as he gaze rested upon a familiar face. A smile etched itself across the trainer's lips. "Well Well, If it isn't the Coordinator. Hey Raize. What are you doing here? Hopefully not to turn me in I hope." He said kicking at a loose board on the Concession stand.
So many good memories. And he has only been here for a short while. Hmph, I'm sure that the longer he stays here. The better his still will become. Day by Day. Week by Week. And Month by Month. Well that is, if the school isn't destroyed by a giant Random Meteor hurtling towards space.

Speedy gave a small smile to Raize as he called him 'trainer.' Finally he was catching on. Ever since they first met there. He had been calling Raize over there coordinator whenever they met. Just as a playful nickname. Nothing insulting. Well to be honest, he couldn't insult him with it. Since he had convinced him to join the Amateur contest. Hmm Now that he that back on it. He really could have used Bronzor or Shinx. A Psychic pokemon would be good for coordination. Right?
Speedy shrugged it off. He knew Raize's name the entire time. It's just Coordinator was just so much better to call him. It was simple to remember. And obviously he knew exactly whom he was talking to. He walked backwards a little bit. Kicking at some of the burnt wood on the floor. Staring at Raize. "Oi, Coordinator. How about a battle? You know for old times sake. Do you think you'll be able to beat me this time? I wanna see just how much better you have gotten."

"Haha. How about we ave a double battle?" Was the first thing out of Raize's mouth. Speedy made a grunt and a sigh. A double battle? Ugh, It would figure that Raize would suggest a double battle. He knew down right that he was terrible at double battles and that single battles is where his true talent lied. And Raize most likely knew that. But then again, what Raize didn't know is that he had a hidden card in play. Recently he had traded his Wingull for a Vanillite. And a normal trainer would probably look at this and just see the pokemon that was traded. But no, within a little research Vanillite put Speedy in the exact strategic position he wanted to be in. Especially with double battles.
Even though the trainer was terrible with Double Battles, a little bit of strategy is all that's needed. A double Battle ehh? Alright then. I accept your double battle terms." At his response Raize threw out his first two pokemon. And Mareep, in Soeedy's opinion a completely Awful pokemon! And then Snorunt, another pokemon Speedy was yet to be attracted to. Hmm, Obviously the two trainers had different tastes in pokemon. But then again so did everyone else. Speedy pulled how his two pokeballs. "I choose you. Fir, Vani." Fir was the first to come out. The Snover bounced up and down waving it's arms in the air. Suddenly it started to hail. That was due to Snover's Ability, Snow Warning it caused a Hail Storm to appear every time to stepped out onto the field. The next pokemon in question was Vani the Vanillite that he traded for his Wingull.
"Now that you chose your pokemon first. I think I will allow myself the first move. That is, if you don't mind. Snover, Blizzard. Vani, Blizzard." The same Move twice. Two ice pokemon. Two powerful Ice Type attacks. And due to the hail storm both moves now automatically boosted themselves to one hundred percent accuracy. And due to Blizzard being a multiple target hitting move. Both Blizzards would hit both pokemon.

The First Move!
So Speedy had two ice types now? It seems things have changed. The statistics fanatic seemed to have captured two great pokemon. Well, a great snover and simply cute vanillite. How adorable it was. All ice types, would you look at that? All except Justin, but it was of no matter. Justin has always been the one to stick out. It was no different that before. He'd once again have to prove himself being outnumbered as far as typing.
The hail began to slowly pelt away at Justin & the trwo trainers. "Ow." Rai muttered, being hit by a small chunk. But then again, its meant to help out the pokemon & it didnt hurt Ashura, so Rai didnt mind it, that much.
"I honestly dont know what to do." Rai laughed at the incoming attack. His aipom stood in place, just as confused as Rai. Such a powerful starting move. Well, Rai could only work with what he had. "Justin, duck behind Ashura. Now Ashura, use protect!" Rai gave the starting commands. Justin crouched low, behind the snorunt, as it generated a light green barrier. The incoming blizzard had been stopped, this time at least. As the blizzard was foiled, the barrier faded. "Justin thunder on vanillite!" He commanded the monkey. Seeing the blizzard subside, Justin jumped in front of Ashura. The aipom charged just for a moment & fired multiple volts towards the adorable ice cream cone.

Speedy watched as the trainer commanded his pokemon to take coverage. He stared at the Snorunt as it put it's shield up, and Aipom hid behind it. "Cowards.." He muttered underneath his breath. And then Aipom had the Gaul to jump back out and use a Thunder attack on his Vanillite. It was a good thing that Aipom had pitiful Special Attack while Vanillite had pretty good Special Defense. For a Base pokemon. What's more Thunder also had terrible accuracy. "You want to dodge moves? Fine, Vani, dodge it. And Counter with Mirror Shot. And Fir, continue with using Blizzard."
Vani floated as fast as he could out of the way of Thunder. The Thunder struck the boards, making a small burn mark in the rotten planks. Afterward Vani, opened it's mouth a small shining ball appearing as it suddenly fired the Attack at the Snorunt. While on the other hand. Snover took a deep breath, blowing out Snow and high speed winds towards both of the pokemon.

"Well since we cant dodge anymore than that. I dont know what else I should do." Rai laughed to distract him from the annoyance of having to choose a new move to counter & hopefully throw some damage in there if he got lucky. He took a sip of his frap & thought for a moment. Not only was this frap cold, but he needed to think MUCH faster than her already was.
"Alright, I know what we'll do!" He snapped out of his short half second daze. "Justin, use swift to counter mirror shot." Justin jumped to shoot forward stars at the shiny orb, causing a small explosion. Meanwhile, Snorunt was given his commands! "Ashura, use your own blizzard!" He told his ice type. The snorunt jumped for joy at the sound of Rai's voice once more. He quickly inhaled then shot out his own blizzard towards the first. The two seemed to hold each other back from making progress towards the targets. "Now keep it up!" Rai encouraged. He wanted his snorunt, with prior experience, to keep holding onto its blizzard attack for as long as it could.

Speedy was very dull eyed about this battle. It was taking way to long and either side was refusing to budge an inch. Well it was about time to do something about it. If he wanted to dodge moves. Let's just see if he can dodge these moves. Fir, Cut off the Blizzard. And then counter with Grass Whistle. Vani use Taunt on Snorunt then fire their moves back at them with a Mirror Coat." Snover cut off the Blizzard as quickly as possible. The Snorunt's Blizzard buffing them both.
Suddenly Fir pulled out a piece of Grass from it's hand putting it somewhere against it's body. A sweet Tune suddenly being whistled out among the battlefield. While Vani looked over at Ashura. Giving it a rather rude Gesture. Taunting it. Soon after a thin veil of light covered Vani. As both a few of the stars from the Swift attack hit him, as well the damage from the Blizzard. Sending the damage straight back at each of the pokemon in the form of a Psychic Shock Wave.

"You'd think after the countless battles Ive been in since I got here, that I'd know what to do." Rai tilted his head, seeing his attacks somewhat doing something. "Maybe...I should try a different approach..." Rai thought. He saw his attacks do what the could, and saw them land doing crap damage if any was done. But now a reflected form of his attacks were coming right back at the his team. "Well, if its not any more obvious I'll tell them once more." He muttered. "Alright, Justin, Ashura be a bosh!" Rai commanded to protect each other.
"In fact! Use blizzard & Thunder!" Rai demanded. The duo fired powerful electricity & blew forcive winds of ice towards the opposing team. The blizzard had subsided, while they launched their countering attacks in sync. The thunder & blizzard overwhelmed the reflecting attacks, still shooting towards the opposing duo. While the attacks launched, the grass whistle would lure two to sleep. "Ai...." Justin nodded off, his thunder cutting off. "Snoo..." Ashura fell to Justin's side, cutting off his blizzard. "Dont attack anymore..." Rai said before speedy could throw any more at his pokemon. The duo seemed peacefully asleep. "I guess you won this one." Rai grinned.
ooc: You can wrap it up as a win if you want. lol.

Speedy didn't really care that his attack was blown away by other attacks. As Raize commanded both of his pokemon to use ultra mega, chocolaty coated fudge sprinkled super attacks upon his little pokemon. Little did he remember that Fir, His Snover was using Grasswhistle. A Move that put the opponent to sleep. It was all Speedy could do was to try and stay away himself. He took a deep yawn. Blinking himself awake.
As he continued to stare onto the battle field. The Pokemon started to drift off. Both of their attacks fizzling out of power before they reached Speedy's pokemon. He pulled out both Fir, and Vani's pokeballs returning them. Right around the time Raize asked him not to attack any more. He pulled out another one. This one had to be close to evolving. So might as well get her some experience points here and now. "Come on Raize, you have to have at least one pokemon left. And If I am correct. I know who."

Dante, Lets Go!
"Haha. So you do remember him!" Rai jumped a bit, still in place. "Well, he's getting stronger by the day so why not let him return for more?" Rai reached into his domo bag, pulling out a pokeball. Dante's heat began to engulf the surrounding oxygen, warming Rai's hand despite all the cold attacks. Hopefully this time his rival wouldnt bust out some random sleep inducing attack or else he'd fall asleep with Dante.
"Ignite those flames!" Rai demanded, taking the spotlight. He tossed the ball, lightly, into the air. A sudden, rapid burst of energy came forth. Out came Dante! "Quilava!" He introduced himself as quilava & no longer a mere cyndaquil, to the opposing trainer. The fire type was ready for another round with the trainer and whoever else Speedy would have waiting inside his ball.

Speedy smiled, of course he remembered the infamous Dante. He only gave Speedy a run for his money twice in a row. And fought beside him in how many battles? What's more, if Speedy EVER caught a Ditto Quilava would be the first pokemon he breeded it along with. But then, maybe that would just give Speedy just that much more power. But then again, in the world of trainers. More power was a good thing. Raize tossed Dante out onto the field. As the red mass formed, Speedy was surprised to see it wasn't Cyndaquil. "Hey! He Evolved! I'm impressed. Let's see just how much you have grown then."
To be honest, for this personal choice in a pokemon pick. Raize would hate Speedy, but the trainer was going to choose this pokemon whether Raize's final choice was Quilava or not. "I choose you! Daisy!" He called, tossing the pokeball into the air. In a red mass of energy, the Ducklett formed in the air, flapping her wings. Assuming the usual battle position. "We'll take the first move. Alright Daisy, let's get this party Started! Hit it! Use Rain Dance!" The Ducklett launched herself into the air, twirling around slightly, dancing in mid-air. Causing the sky to suddenly open up and fill the area with a thick mist of rain.

Dante, Lets Go!
...Rain dance. Meh. As unfair as the circumstances were, Rai would have to deal with it. Just & Ashura sure as hell werent ready to battle. Dante could stand the rain. After all, he didnt know just fire type moves. Now Rai would have to bring it up a notch. The coordinator was going to focus & try his best. Dante as well of course. The quilava smirked at the compliment, happy to see Speedy's reaction. "Dante, stand strong." He told his partner.
As the rain pelted the field, Rai was surte he knew what was coming up next. This bird was going to spam a good attack that would most likely have its power strengthened, due to recent weather changes. This move was expected by Speedy. Rai wasnt surprised that he'd call upon his water pokemon & started with a water boosting weather attack. He, in fact, knew Speedy well for playing by stats. Though this duck wouldnt be to much of a threat, this rain gave Speedy too much of an edge.
"Dante & I can handle a little rain, unlike my hair!" Rai informed Speedy, with a blissful smirk. "Lava!" Dante got hyped up. He was determined to knock the bird down. It would pose a nice threat, but it was a challenge none the less. "Use swift!" Rai called out, having Dante launch multiple rapidly spinning stars of gold towards the duck.

Speedy wasn't done yet. Not even close. A small smile spread across his lips. As Raize made a comment about his hair. "Aww Come on Raize. The party is just getting started. You haven't even seen my Grand Finale." He said, a dull glaze over his eyes and a sly smile across his face. In fighting the same opponent over and over again. One begins to guess what his or her next move will be. As you spend more time with that trainer, you get to know their strategy in winning a battle. And with Raize, he had probably guessed one way the battle was going to play out. Rain Dance Plus some random Water Type Moves. And Yeah, he was right. Speedy would do something like that.
But then again, there was another roll that Rain Dance Played. Not just in boosting his water type moves. As the rain began to drench the trainer's hair. He ran a slow hand through it. The smile still upon his face. But then in the other end, if one wanted to win a battle against the same opponent over and over. They needed new strategy. And it was about time to give this Coordinator another lesson in battles. "You know Raize, if I ever get a Ditto. You're gonna HAVE let me breed your Dante. I would love to have a Cyndaquil." Speedy saw the Swift coming, Raize used it every battle. It was a auto-hit attack. The Stars Struck Daisy, doing a fair amount of Damage. Even due to the fact that the attack how low attack power.
While on the other hand, Daisy knew what to do. They had done this move several times against several opponents. And other trainers as well, and Speedy didn't even have to utter a word of command. As she suddenly started flapping her wings rapidly. Using her Hurricane Attack. Causing high speed winds so fast it could lift a pokemon off the ground. As the winds began to blow in a circle.
Hurricane Attack has a 30% chance of confusing an opponent. [dice=10] (If the Dice Rolls 1-3 You are confused. And due to Rain Dance the Hurricane is an Auto-Hit. Have a nice day.)[rand=8264391183026239643525971984086894513025685180904080396110190043]

Where's My Shampoo?
"I may as well be using shampoo." Rai said, being pelted further by rain. Unfortunately this rain got heavier, becoming heavy rain. "Lava..." Dante spoke standing strong against it. He didnt care for any of Speedy's breeding talk. He didnt really care to do much of baby making. He just wanted to become strong & able to protect Rai & the rest of the family. "Well, we'll do what we can. Its not like we havent been in danger before." Rai said aloud, laughing at the stormy skies & the disadvantage. The situation was terrible, but as usual he could see the brighter side.
"And that'd be awesome...But I think Dante would prefer another one of its own. Dittos dont really have good stats to pass down." Rai informed, though he was pretty much sure Dante wouldnt do anything with anyone anytime too soon. "Lava." Dante turned his head away, letting Speedy no that Ditto is a no-no but another quilava...Might be a no as well.
"Lets have at this attack!" Rai told his partner. Quilava dug his feet into the ground, trying to hold placement. It didnt want to take compleete damage from a powerful attack like that. This strong furious winds would push Dante back, while it stayed in proper position. "Keep it up." Rai calmly told Dante, who took good damage, while remaining on all fours. Though Rai didnt care for statistics or know them, they were still in place. Dante's defense was higher than that of ducklett, same for speed. This attack couldnt do much to hurt them, but of course being a high leveled attack it would scuff up quilava more than a little bit.
After the winds stopped, Rai would give more commands. "Ducklett can just dodge all of our attacks, so we'll stick to what we know will work. Launch more of that infamous swift!" He told his quilava to quickly do so. "Lava!" Dante exclaimed firing an army of endless stars at the duck.

Speedy raised a brow as the Quilava managed to stay alive through the Hurricane. Especially since it was raining. It was about time to make this end. But knowing Raize it would drag out. At least for a little bit longer. He watched as the Swift once again was fired. And was once again undodgeable. The Stars struck against Daisy once more. Doing a fair amount of damage, again. "Daisy, Counter with Water Pulse." Daisy focused a large bubble of water around her beak. Suddenly firing the attack at the Quilava.

Work It Out!
The swift did its damage, though it wasnt super effective. Rai became more optimistic than he was at first, seeing his constant spamming of swift working out better than expected. Though he would hate not being able to use many of Dante's other amazing moves, he would persistently continue to try using his only non fire move. A set up? Nah, it just happened that all of his fire type moves would be weakened. Rai began to think that as long as the survived until the rain let up, they'd be able to finally get the battle going.
Unfortunately, Rai became a bit too happy with the small results, though he still knew he'd have to throw more moves at Speedy. Now a bold water pulse was coming his way. The mid sized orb fired from ducklett's beak, shooting forward at Dante. Though he wasnt the fastest of pokemon, Dante was most likely able to dodge the attack. As narrow as it was, Rai still took the chance.
"Dante, dodge & use swift!" He demanded with excitement in his tone. The quilava's flames on his back died down completely, having struggled to stay ignited this whole time. But with his focus dropped from the back flames, he was able to pay more attention to other things. "Lava." It spoke, jumping back from the water pulse. Dante had barely dodged it, some of its splashing on the ground landing on it. "La. Va!" It fired more golden stars towards the duck. The coordinator & Quilava didnt want to loose just yet. Until the battle was officially over they would try & give their all.

Speedy took a sigh, he was running out of muse for this battle. And this rain was starting to give him a slight chill. He could even feel a small headache coming on in the back of his mind. He needed to wrap up the battle quickly. But how? Raize over there was being so damn resilient and not just giving up. But then again, he was just like this when Dante was a regular Cyndaquil too. As the battle played out. Raize chose to dodge his attack and launch another. Oooh! Of course he launches a Swift attack. Daisy could keep taking Swift Attacks to the body like that. He needed a way to make it to where Ducklett destroyed that Swift attack. An attack that is stronger than the original attack.
"Daisy! Counter with Aerial Ace!" Maybe going in close wasn't the best idea. But it was the best idea that Speedy could think of for destroying the Swift attack. Ducklett performed a somersault within the air. Suddenly bursting with Speed straight towards the Quilava. It's Beak glowing with power as it punctured the stars and sent glittering dust all over the place. Just like the first time they battle. The Aerial Ace continuing straight towards Dante.

Work It Out!
The trainer was determined to continue on trying to pick away at Rai, until the looser was determined. Rai watched as glowing golden stars flew straight for ducklett. The pokemon ran straight for them after an aerial movement. The annoying duck burst forward, striking down all the stars. "Dante, while she's coming in, use Roll out!" Rai threw commands on to his partner.
"Lava." Dante bundled up, and rolled forward at the incoming duck. This would hopefully stop the attack & counter it completely. If it did so, they duck would take q bit of damage, due to the roll out move being rock type & the duck obviously being a flying type. It would also let Dante get away with less damage than Speedy expected.

"Daisy, Break out of the Aerial Ace, and Counter, With Water Pulse." The Ducklett made a sudden turn the power in her body balancing itself out from the Aerial Ace. As she turned around in the air, a sudden ball of water appeared at the front of her beak. As she made her full rotation and fired the Water Pulse at the Quilava. "You know Raize. If this battle goes on any longer. I might just have to quit. Let you have this win. Because I just don't know what else to do. I will admit you are getting better as the days continue. but then again I'm just not really into the battle that much. I mean I love battling but after a while it just seems to drag itself out because I don't have any other long time strategies."
"Maybe if I had a partner in battle to help me out every now and then. That would get my creative juices flowing. But then again I suck at double battles. But then again maybe I'm just S.O.L."
[dice=10] Yeah you know Water Pulse's effect... Yay...[rand=5244550777961428530870491578299168773617906628054038808063018524]

Work It Out!
The opponent offered to give up, though it was only possibly not certain. Rai grinned a bit, relaxing himself. Hopefully this would relieve a bit of stress & tension building up and also better his judgment. The aerial ace had shattered, which wasnt going to help that much, but was replaced by an actually effective move. Curse him & this water pulse. Rai's grin faded a bit, as he mentally cursed the non favoring weather as well.
"Dante, prepare for impact! Use roll out!" Rai demanded the quilava, who rolled & curled up instantly. "Fire!" Rai commanded with a slight pirate tone. Dante lunged forward at the duck. This move let Dante crash through the water pulse, taking damage while still moving forward with the attack. Hopefully Rai could pull off this win.

Speedy couldn't take it any more. No doubt if he continued in fighting and maybe if he had some more muse he would no doubt be able to pull off a win. But then again the battle was kind of getting old. And he was completely out of muse for the battle. He watched as Ducklett fired off her Water Pulse and then Raize bursted through it with his pokemon. Ehh Ducklett was close to evolving any way. One or two more battles and she would evolve no doubt. He had gotten the Experience points for his new pokemon the ones he actually wanted to get them for. So this battle was actually just extra.
He pulled out Daisy's pokeball, shooting a small stream of red light at her. The Light hit her and she was returned to her proper pokeball. Speedy gave a small sort of yawn. Walking forward towards Raize. "Excellent Battle Coordinator. Seems like I have taught you well. You have come a long way since our first battle. And frankly is was kinda fun. See you around Coordinator. Have a good day." He said patting Raize on the back at a job well done, as he continued on his way out of the Amusement Park.

Bye Speedy!
The opponent pulled out his duck pokemon. They had finished their battle pretty soon. Dante had his work cut out for him, though the storm began to subside. "Well, that was fun." Rai nodded at Speedy, though he ignored the irritation of being "taught" by someone that only seemed to care for stats. He didnt really look to far into the playful insult. Instead, he moved on with life. He watched Speedy take It seemed that the battle was done. Rai would soon take his leave after he decided the was enough fo the day.
