Speedy gently kicked at the ash that accumulated on the base of the Volcano. His mind began to slightly wander. What the heck was an Active Volcano doing on an Academy filled to the brim with school children? Better yet, why are school children on an Island with a Volcano? Seemed awfully fishy to him. Like, what if the Volcano erupted? Do you have any idea how badly his day would be ruined by that? I mean, come on. It would be like possibly the worse day ever. No, on second thought the worst day ever would probably be the day his Wii wouldn't turn on.
Shrugging it off the young trainer looked farther up the mountain. Freshly flowing Lava oozed out of the tip of it. Great... It only figured. He muttered to himself walking up it. The beginning part didn't look all that bad. It mostly consisted of, slightly burnt patches of grass. And on trees, burnt bark. But as he ventured farther up the grass stopped growing becoming hard, and covered with soot. While there were no trees to speak of. One person might ask. Why would Speedy come to such a dangerous place?
The answer was easy, he was missing a particular type that everyone else had in the arsenal already. He was missing a fire type. And that's what he was here for. As well a Ground type wouldn't be all that bad either. But that was just a bonus if he could find one. So yeah that was the plan until he found a pokemon he actually liked. And Captured it.

A couple of Spinda sisters could be seen playing around in the soot of the volcano mountain face. Certainly it wasn't uncommon to see these bear Pokemon in such an environment; they were so confused that they probably mistook the falling ash for snow. They looked to the approaching human with dizzy eyes, seeing a potential new playmate in him. Dancing their way toward him, they seemed ready to play. Will Speedy stop and play, or is he too busy to spend a few moments entertaining the wild Pokemon?

Speedy continued to trek up the mountain. Soot falling in his face and sometimes even getting in his eyes which made them burn like a bitch. Causing tears to be shed and the soot to be washed out. As he blinked a few more times making sure it was out. He looked out straight ahead once more. Seeing two pokemon, doing something while walking towards him. He laid a hand upon his pokeballs preparing to fight. But they weren't there to fight. They were dancing... gently dancing around him.
Speedy gently sighed with relief. As he squatted down to talk to the little pokemon. "Why.. Hello there. Fancy meeting you two here. Are you cute?" He said softly smiling. He raised and hand setting it down on top of one of the Spinda's head. As his memory bank selected the file 'Spinda.' The Panda pokemon. Usually found in Volcanic areas. It's dots on it's body are constantly changing. And then the stats began. Spinda being the most balanced of pokemon. All of it's base stats being set to 60. No more, no less. It didn't have a highest stat or a lowest stat. But sadly it had no evolution. If it had an evolution where it's stats go boosted then it would have been a much more useful pokemon.
But Speedy rubbed the Spinda on it's head anyway. "So I guess you wanna Play ehh? Heh, Alright I guess I can play with you for a little bit."

The Spinda sisters couldn't be happier that they now had a playmate - even if he was a temporary one. They began to hop on one leg and perform twirls and bows and elegant leaps, trying to encourage their human friend to imitate them if he could. Spinda, Spinda! they cried out in unison with smiles on their faces.
A wild Farfetch'd happened to be coming down the volcano. He'd traveled up the dangerous mountain in search of a new leek stick and was now headed back down to its nest in the forest. It acknowledged the Spindas and the trainer playing together a few meters away from him; he wouldn't interact with them unless they approached him.

Speedy watched as the Spinda performed many moves for him. Until the started telling him to do them as well. He gave an awkward kind of smile. "Oh... Erm I don't know I don't have the greatest center of balance." He muttered. But they continued to urge him on. He gave a slight sigh. Standing up watching carefully at what they did. When they jumped, he jumped. When they twirled, he twirled. When they bowed, he bowed. And frankly the entire process made him feel completely stupid. But the problem came with the elegant leap. As they jumped up and then landed peacefully on the ground. When he jumped up trying to repeat the process, his foot landed on a pile of soot. Which made it slip out from underneath him. Causing him to hit his face on the ground. Luckily it wasn't the front of his face. He only hit his cheek. And he was still conscious. He sat back up rubbing his red cheek. "Oww! Ow! Ow ow! That really hurt."

The bear Pokemon would giggle and laugh as the human tried his best to do what they were doing. Finally content with his honest effort, they both fell back and allowed themselves to sit on their fluffy tushes. Playing patty-cake with one another, they paid little attention to the human at this point.
Farfetch'd had no time for the antics of those around him. Continuing on his way down the mountain, he was almost out of sight...

Speedy slightly smiled. The Pokemon were content, and he was happy. He did something nice for them. He didn't really expect anything in return just to know that they were happy. He got back up, rubbing them both on the head between their ears, before walking off again. He turned around glancing back down at the Spinda, watching as they continued to play patty-cake with themselves. As he was looking back down a small brown object caught his eye. Why... is was a Farfetch'd. Those are a pretty rare sight. Apart of Speedy wanted to go after it. But then he thought about it. He had enough flying pokemon. And didn't really need any more. Although, it was a pity that Farfetch'd never evolved. He slightly shrugged, turning back around towards the more active part of the volcano.
He well made sure to stay away from the flowing lava. This were starting to heat up too. This was exactly where he wanted to be. He needed a good Fire and Ground type pokemon and rumor had it you would find some pretty good ground types up here. While on the other hand fire type pokemon were naturally attracted to this place due to the heat.

As Speedy advanced up the side of the volcano, he understood the risk he took. Closer to the top is where the stronger, more dangerous Pokemon lived. Some were worth trying to catch... and some were just plain hazardous to health. Unfortunately for this young trainer, he'd run into the latter today.
HOSTILE POKEMON ATTACK!
The Rhyhorn came charging down the extremely craggy face of the volcanic mountain, making loud growling noises as it charged straight for the human who'd invaded his territory. With each large gallop it made, rocks broke off and tumbled down the hillside under the pressure of gravity. ooc- this hostile pokemon is available for capture.

Speedy continued walking up the cliff side. Staring at the bubbling lava carefully. Making sure not to get all that close to it. Suddenly the ground started to rumble. That meant two possibilities. One, being that a VERY big pokemon was coming. The other, Diglett was burrowing underground. Unfortunately it was the first one. Pity though, he really wouldn't mind a Diglett. But then again, the pokemon coming his way was a prize within itself. As the Rhyhorn came galloping down, Speedy slightly raised his brow not in the slightest intimidated. If he wanted to be a stronger trainer, he had to not show fear in the face of his enemies.
As the Rhyhorn came farther down the mountain, he walked out of the way of it. To prevent him from sliding into Speedy himself. A few stones fell down from the Mountain top. Dodging those he watched as the Rhyhorn continued on his way. "You've done pissed off the wrong trainer! I choose you! Fir! Daisy!" He pulled out two of his pokeballs. Tossing out Daisy his Ducklett whom took flight as soon as she was out. Careful to dodge the rocks the were falling, second out was Fir. Whom let the rocks hit her, she didn't care. Didn't do much damage to her. Suddenly with the appearance of Fir, it suddenly started hailing a weather condition Speedy wanted to happen. "Daisy, Bubblebeam, Fir Blizzard attack Go!" Taking a Big Gulp of Air, Daisy shot a stream of bubbles towards the Rhyhorn, for four times damage. While Fir suddenly started blowing about rapid ice cold winds. Freezing the nearby streams of Lava.

The Rhyhorn stopped in its tracks as it saw the bubbles coming toward it. It side-jumped, letting the complete stream of transparent globes breeze right by it. It opened its mouth wide and bellowed out a bass roar that shook the ground and made Pidoves and Pidgeys flee their nests. It stamped its right fore paw, preparing to charge again. That was when everything got cold... so very cold. Rhyhorn was completely frozen solid, thanks to Snover's Blizzard attack. Stuck in time and space, it didn't budge as it remained in its icy casing.

Speedy felt the ground rumble one more time. Looking around he saw Pidgey's and Pidoves fly off in fear of the Rhyhorn. The stream of bubbles passed right by the Rhyhorn. Hmmm Apparently this pokemon was a little bit quicker than the others. Excellent. But then again, due to Fir's ability the area began to automatically Hail. And as Fir let loose a stream of Ice and High Speed Winds. Due to the hailing the Blizzard's accuracy was an automatic hit. And the Rhyhorn being so preoccupied with dodging the Bubblebeam. Was hit head on by the Blizzard attack. But then again, they were in a Volcano. So it was doubtful he would stay frozen for long.
Speedy pulled out an empty pokeball from his pocket. Pressing the small button in the middle, making it grow larger. "Pokeball! Go!" He yelled, stereotypically. He tossed the pokeball at the Rhyhorn. Even though it was froze it didn't matter. The pokeball tapped the frozen pokemon, suddenly opening as the Rhyhorn was turned to pure energy and engulfed inside.

Wriggle. Wriggle. Break! The Rhyhorn was released from the device, refusing to go down just that easily. It stamped its foot again before setting its sights on the one who had trapped it in an icy jail cell... Snover. It charged forward and began to glow a pale blue color. Fragments broke off from its armor and shot forward in a Stone Edge attack! The quick, powerful projectiles went forth with intent to hit Snover, Ducklett, Speedy - hell, whoever was unfortunate enough to have one sent their way. Soon thereafter, the glow subsided and Rhyhorn was now targeting Snover with a Take Down attack.

Speedy groaned lightly as the Rhyhorn refused to stay down and stay caught within the Pokeball. "Whelp, Looks like you'll have to learn things the hard way." As the Rhyhorn bursted out of the pokeball continued to run down towards Speedy. And officially the fight with him began. He started off with using a Stone Edge Attack, sending dozens of small sharp rocks directly at the three. He wasn't aiming just for Snover he was aiming at the entire group. The Rhyhorn had to be hurting, especially after that Blizzard attack. It couldn't have felt good, especially with it's low special defense stat and it's weakness to Ice. It had have have been hurting. "Fir, counter the Stone Edge with a Razor Leaf." Fir threw both of her arms up into the air covering the field with dozens of small leaves before sending them directly at the Stones. As the two made contact, they canceled each other out. Rendering both attacks useless. "Now Fir, Wait till he comes close enough the Hit him Head on with a Wood Hammer." As the Rhyhorn continued to storm forward, pounding it's way down the path, Fir readied her attack. A Light Green glow resonating from her arm. As the Rhyhorn continued in for it's Take Down attack, Fir Swung.

Seeing that the Snover refused to back down from him, Rhyhorn decided to up the ante. Its horn glowed green with energy as Megahorn prepared to be put to use! With such running momentum - and thanks to sheer size too - Snover was in for one hell of a rocking. If the trainer's Pokemon got out of the way in time, Rhyhorn would be unscathed. If it decided to stay put and take the damage in exchange for dealing some damage of its own, then good for her. This rouge Pokemon was playing chicken with the Snover now; her stance was firm, but he wanted to call her bluff.
Despite what happened with the Snover showdown, Rhyhorn would still be standing after the altercation. He was running on pure adrenaline right now, and not ready to lie down. He'd spy a Magby perched upon a rock, trying its best to stay out of the middle of all of this mess. Magby! it would cry out as Rhyhorn charged for it, intending to hurt it too if it could. Take no prisoners, bitches.

Speedy watched as the Rhyhorn charged up it's horn. It was Megahorn, Snover was still ready to use Wood Hammer even if it meant taking a hit in the process. Snover had yet to actually be damaged in the battle yet. And with the Megahorn coming at it. It would be seriously hurt in the process. But with Fir being a Grass and Ice type that mean Wood Hammer would get stab effect. And with it being Four Times as effective, the attack would be just that much more powerful. Didn't matter how powerful you were, if a move if four times effective then it's seriously going to hurt. "Fir continue with the Wood Hammer." The Megahorn struck against Fir, moving Fir backwards across the ground. Cringing in pain, but looking face to face with the Rhyhorn, an evil glint in her eyes as she swung the Wood Hammer across as hard as she could.
After the Wood Hammer it seemed the Rhyhorn had a new opponent. Taking a close look, the trainers eyes opened wide. It was a Baby pokemon, a little Magby just wanting to stay out of the battle. This would simply not do with him. "Apache! I choose you!" He said tossing out his Rufflet's pokeball. As the Rufflet appeared he took flight as well, and Daisy suddenly started to swoon over him. "Fir, Rest up, use Ingrain to gain some energy back. I feel like I'm gonna need you a bit more. Daisy! You can swoon over Apache later. Just focus on the fight for now and use Tailwind! Apache, I need you to fly over there and get that Magby over here to safety." As commanded the pokemon, did as they were told. Fir planted roots in the ground absorbing the rich nutrients of the volcanic soil. While Daisy flapped up a powerful wind making all pokemon's speed go up by two stages. While Apache flew over to the Magby, as fast as it could. Whenever it reached the baby fire pokemon informing him that he was here to save him. "Grab on. My trainer told me to save here and take you to safety." Apache said in poke-speak to the Magby.

Rhyhorn stumbled a little after the Wood Hammer attack. As much fun as this rouge stampede had been, it knew that it was nearing the end of its rope. But of course there still had to be something it could do, right? And that's when it saw the Magby and began to make a mad dash for it.
Magby was going stir-crazy, trying to figure out what it would do with the giant stone rhinoceros coming its way. At its wit's end, the thing decided it would have to accept its untimely fate... when just in the nick of time, along came a Rufflet willing to save it! Without even really listening to what it had to say, Magby jumped upon Rufflet. Take me out of here!
[/i] Rhyhorn smashed right into the rock that Magby had once been perched on. Shaking its face free of rubble, the thing heaved out a great deal before turning around more pissed than ever. Lifting up the front half of its body, it slammed back down to the ground with a monumental Earthquake! attack.[/blockquote][/blockquote] ooc- if you catch one, know that the other will become uncatchable[/size]

Speedy made a mental victory in his mind as the Rhyhorn was smacked to the side to the wood hammer. And made the Rhyhorn a little bit woozy. Knocking it aside. It couldn't take much more of this. As it suddenly targeted the Magby. Thinking as quick as he could he threw out his Rufflet. Telling him to go save the Magby. The Rufflet flew over to the Magby, and without even having to say anything the Magby grabbed onto Rufflet, as he flew him back over towards the trainer. Now it was time to finally take care of the Rhyhorn. But suddenly the Earth Started to rumble. Fortunately, Speedy was out of the way of the Earthquake attack. He returned Rufflet to his pokeball. And Daisy was a flying type so she wasn't affected by the ground type move.
But Fir was still on the ground. Soaking up as much nutrients as she good. When suddenly the ground started to rumble. And thankfully she was resistant to ground type attacks. But sadly, she was still way to injured and fainted from the attack. Causing the Hail to cease. Speedy returned Fir to her pokeball. It was Daisy's turn now. It was time to finish off the Rhyhorn. "Daisy! BubbleBeam!" Daisy took in a deep breath, firing a stream of bubbles directly towards the Rhyhorn.

Rhyhorn roared as the stream of translucent bubbles surrounded him. The end was near, even if he didn't recognize it. Once the projectiles popped, they left in their bubbly wake one knocked out stone behemoth. Even Spongebob Squarepants would have to compliment such effective bubble blowing.
Magby, seeing that the threat formally known as Rhyhorn was no more, jumped off of the aviary Pokemon's back and landed on the ground. It recovered from its fall quickly before waving to the trainer and thanking it for the help.

Speedy exhaled. The Bubble beam struck their target. Rapidly popping against the Rock Pokemon. With a mighty thud. The pokemon dropped to the ground completely exhausted and finally gave up the battle. As the remaining of the bubbles disappeared, Speedy walked closer to the Rhyhorn. Gently pressing his shoe against the pokemon itself. It twitched, but it was fainted. No doubt about it. He pulled out Daisy's pokeball, returning her inside of it. She did a very impressive job. That was a surprisingly tough battle. But then again, tough battles come with big rewards. The Magby, landed on the ground next to the trainer. Thanking him for his help. The trainer squatted down and gave the baby pokemon a smile, gently rubbing against it's head. His hand becoming slightly burned in the process.
He pulled out a pokeball from his backpack, once again making it bigger by pressing the circle button. And tossing it on the fainted Rhyhorn. "Now you stay down. Or you are going to have a very bad day." The ball struck the pokemon, floating up, opening and turning the Rhyhorn into pure energy taking it inside of the sphere. As it snapped back shut, suddenly falling to the ground as it started to wiggle.

Rhyhorn | Male | Rock Head | Rash
Special Note: Rhyhorn is extremely confrontational and does not take orders well. You will have to work with it in order to establish trust and respect. As it stands, you've got an uncooperative Pokemon on your hands.
After being petted, Magby started on his way away from the site.
