I might catch pokemon in this thread
She really wasn't sure why she was there, she didn't know what she had traveled to some where that would distress her. Even though she was only at the edge, her back to the expanse of greenery known a the Luscious Forest, barely in the area known as the Inner Forest, it still hurt, the burned ground under her. She had grow up in the wilderness, she loved the tall grasses, the canopy of trees, and buildings, though she didn't mind them, seemed like they didn't belong. The barren ground by her feet was a little to much to no care about. Nature was meant to bounce back. This was not bouncing back. For once, Shade had felt like being in his pokeball, so only Zach was following her around at the moment. She was fully aware that with almost any other trainer he would have evolved by now, but neither, she, nor he had the ambition for that. She sighed, sinking to her hunches. She guessed she might has well stay here for a little while.

The air around her had shifted and changed, it had a sense of eeriness to it. The blue haired girl took a deep breath and placed one foot into the forest. A sense of abandonment rushed through her body. The girl shivered and took another step, and another step and another, into the forest. All around her was dead. Everything. The trees and plants, even the soil and sun was dead. Everything left and forgotten. Everything she knew about forests, were forgotten. This wasn't a forest, this was a dead battle field, and the flames had won. The girl reached for the straps of her bag and tugged on it, making the bag tighter. It hugged her back and crushed the sleeping Pokemon there. The purple cat let off a slight growl as she was pushed out of her bed. S-sorry Purr, the girl whispered, daring not to wake the forgotten forest.
The pair walked deeper into the forest. Carleigh's blue eyes darted around. It was like she was searching for something that wasn't there. A crow called from the distance, that made the girl jump. Her heart pounded into her chest. The girl gasped for the eerie air around her. Purr looked up at her frightened trainer with a smirk on her face. She had never seen Carleigh like this before, and it was making her laugh. [/style] |
