time for a switch (battle/Kathy)

Ven walked in to the planes with Lead and she did not look happy, Ven turned to her "awww come on girl its ok you are going to do fine i know you don't want to be commanded by any one else but me but we need to so come on cheer up." Lead looked at Ven and smiled, she did not want to be commanded by another trainer but she had to in order to keep her master so she nodded at Ven. Ven looked at Led and smiled ok now all we need to do is wait till Kathy gets here.

[Kathy Dar]

Kathy plodded out to the Endless Plains, where she had seen Ven head. Ugh. Shade was sulking, traveling a good meter behind her, making it look like he wasn't part of the group at all. Her shieldon, Rachel, on the other hand, was in her arms, making it look like she was the pokemon fighting. She still hadn't taking out her other pokemon, they where fine, and she didn't want to have to put them back in for the two minutes back in the Battle Tactics classroom. After all, none of them but Shade minded their pokeballs. She trudged up a small grassy hill to look down on Ven and his Lucario, and it looked like Ven was talking. She trotted down the rest of the hill, Shade still on the other side, out of sight. "Hello, Ven. I'm Kathy. This is Rachel" She gestured to the Shieldon in her arms.

Ven turned hearing the voice behind him as Ven turned around seeing a girl; this must be Kathy Dar the girl that I’m supposed to fight. The girl did conform Ven’s thoughts as she introduced herself as Kathy Dar, Ven smiled and extended his hand to the girl. “I’m glad to meet you Kathy; I’m Ven Hiroshima from the island of Cinnabar.” Ven then noticed the Pokémon in the girl’s arms it was a Shieldon, Ven only knew the Pokémon by word of mouth he never saw one this close up. Pokémon that I’m going to be fighting with I presum“That’s a Shieldon right well that’s nice is that going to be the e so correct.” Ven then turned around to face Lead, “Wardog Lead listen up you are to fallow madam Kathy’s every word unless I say otherwise do you understand Wardog Lead.” Lucario nodded and jumped off her lift leg in to the air doing a back flip and landing a few feet away from Ven a little bit behind Kathy. “Whenever you are ready go behind Lead and say Wardog Lead engage and the command you wish her to do you only need to do that once, but in order for her to fight she needs to hear the words Wardog Lead engage ok and to get her to stop attacking you have to say Wardog Lead disengage ok well I’m ready if your Pokémon is ready.” Ven did not like this as much as Lead did but ha had to do what he had to do.

Well, this guy was rather full of words. No really a bad thing, but it did irritate her. Humans really did talk way to much. Well, other than Laz, but maybe that was just because she was used to Laz. Part of being friends and all. But then again, maybe she was just short on words. No, some people just talked to much. Around this time, Shade had finished climbing the hill and was now visible, as Kathy became to reply to what Ven had said. She shook her head lightly at Ven's comment about Rachel. "Rachel just wanted to be out and about. You'll be fighting with Shade," She pointed to the cranky Shrifty who was slowly making his way down the hill. "There's no special way to get him to fight. He'll attack when you tell him too, and stop when you stop giving him instructions. He doesn't like you, so he'll likely only do what you say." Kathy frowned disapprovingly at her pokemon, who was still sulking as he walked up. She looked and the Lucario She would be fighting with and nodded respectfully. "You're quite the fine pokemon. I'm sure you could fight better on your own with out a fool like me to give you instructions, but let us make the best of this brief partner ship. Maybe we could both learn something." As she was talking to a pokemon then, she loosened up slightly, being more familiar with them than her own species. She shook her head, slightly amused "Maybe my fool of a pokemon will learn how to take orders gracefully." Shade looked up and scowled at her, saying in pokemon <"You like me just fine how I am"> before forcing himself to walk over to Ven.

Ven looked at the Shrifty and nodded “ok then that’s that although you do have a nice Pokémon there but your own Pokémon don’t fallow your command.” Ven was wondering because of what Kathy said, Ven waited for the Shrifty got in front of him and then smiled at the girl. “well I’ll let you go first lady’s first after all right,” Ven knew Lucario inside and out although he knew nothing of this Pokémon since it was from a different land the Ven was from any way Ven looked at the Pokémon “I’m not going to hurt you big guy all I ask is that we work together and defeat my friend so what you say we work together.” Lucario heard the girl and nodded and bowed to her in respect and looked straight at Ven. Ven then looked at Lucario “I’m not going to hold back there Lead so you do no different we fight are best and bring honor to are name." Lucario nodded and then jumped in front of Kathy ready to begin

This is why she found people irritating. You're pokemon don't follow your command? What kind of messed up person expected their pokemon to be HAPPY on command? Shade obeyed her no matter how little he liked the order! How the heck did he think she got him to fight with him? Her eyebrows narrowed ever so slightly. "Pardon me, but he obeys me perfectly. I don't expect my pokemon to be happy on command." She said slightly more coldly than normal. She didn't wanted to insult his pokemon, so she still tried to be polite, but he was really starting to irritate her. She wondered briefly why the heck pokemon bother to listen humans, herself included, anyway. They weren't very smart. Shade, noticing Kathy's slight change in attitude, and hearing what decided right off he didn't like this person at all. It was one thing to listen to someone else. It was another completely to like someone who just called HIS Kathy a bad trainer. If Kathy was as bad as she thought she, or as bad as this person seemed to assume, he wouldn't listen to her, and he certainly wouldn't be fighting against Kathy.

Unlike Lead, who was showing remarkably maturity in accepting Kathy, Shade clearly gave Ven the cold shoulder and only said <"I hope we lose,"> Dearly hoping Ven was good enough with pokemon to understand those that weren't his, given unlike Kathy, who was mature and polite enough to hide and swallow her anger, knowing it would do her no good, Shade once again proved he the the least mature there by easily being the rudest pokemon for a mile. Kathy raised and eyebrow. "That's rather rude, Shade," She scolded, and he looked slightly abashed, but only because Kathy had told him off. "I hope we all do our best, and may the best trainer win," Kathy looked at Wardog Lead for a second and considered her options, given her own pokemon might not be that strong, but was she mainly used anyway was strategy. That was what she was best at. She clearly had the advantage here, type wise and she could use that. Plus, she knew Shade. And she knew that meant, given Shade was mad at Ven, he would follow Ven's instructions to the dot. He'd better order Shade to dodge.

Kathy took a deep breath. She would try her best, Ven would try his best, Wardog lead would try his best, and if Shade didn't try his best Kathy would kill him later. So help him, he'd better dodge. "Wardog lead engage," Kathy said, following Ven's instructions. "Now." She looked at Shade meaningfully, "let's all try our best." She licked her lips, and ordered, "Wardog Lead, we have an advantage, lets use it. Swords Dance, followed by Aura Sphere, please"

Ven Looked at the Shifty it looked irritated Ven knew that he did not want to fight but it was under his command it well do what it is tolled and like it, Ven then looked at Lead he looked Very content to fight and show his commander what a true soldier is. Ven smirked as Kathy said that her Pokémon obey her fine hearing this Ven nodded but then looked back at her, “that’s good that he obeys you fine but you will see i train my Pokémon to love the sight of battle it’s fun for them and they fight as ruthless as possible not letting up heack I think they love beating the enemy to the point where they remember the fight for the rest of their life. That’s why Lead well fights me with no question because I tolled it to.” As the Shifty walked up to him and looked at him with a blear Ven nodded, “my friend I know that you’re not the least bit happy with this but let’s just do are best to gain victory.” Ven watched Kathy as she told her to engage with a sword’s dance and aura sphere nice move. Lead hearing the command then started to spin around in a dance increasing its special attack then on the last spin of the dance started to charge a ball of aura and then coming out of the spin Lead shot it towards the Siftry.
Ven Smirked that move was impossible to dodge Ven would have to counter it, “Shade counter with leaf storm at the aura sphere and then rush right behind the leaf storm and use vine whip.” Ven looked at Kathy “it’s your move.”

This Ven person was the most messed up person she had ever met. Who the heck messed up their pokemon enough to enjoy battling if they didn't like too? She was now really freaking glad she'd been the one to catch Zach and not this crazy. Zach hated to fight, and she would never dream of forcing him to enjoy it. That was sick and twisted. Shade, who loved to battle himself, heard that, and stared at Ven like he had just said he thought the world was square. Sure HE liked to battle, but some of hi best friends hated too. Who the heck got that obsessed over a battle? It was just a battle! He gave Ven a scornful looked when he tried to talk to him. <"I repeat. I hope we lose! You're an-"> He cut himself off at a glare from Kathy and just prepared to fight. He heard Ven's orders, and signing, obeyed the first thing he heard, releasing a Leaf storm, which was powerful enough to manage to cancel out the attacking Aura Sphere. However then he processed what Ven had said next. Not bothering to run behind the Leaf storm to do something he could do at all, he just turned to look at Ven, and though normally the badge wouldn't have allowed him to, he just stated, <"No. Fail. Since when can Shriftys use VINE WHIP?"> losing the chance to attack.

Kathy, decided to embrace the confusion of a mislaid command, and ordered, "Let's take advantage of this, use Metal Sound and follow up with another Aura Sphere, please," Inwardly, she flinched at Ven's improper knowledge of her Pokemon's attacks. Herself always tried to know a few attacks from at least most pokemon, and not learn any false ones.

Ven looked at his mistake and shook his head at the foolish mistake and now Kathy had countered with a metal noise and then another aura sphere well that would not work this time Ven smirked, “Shiftry don not falter stay and hold your ground now use nasty plot and then another leaf storm to counter the aura sphere once more.” Ven looked at Lucario as she smacked her two horns on her wrists to throw out an earth shattering noise witch lowered Shiftry’s special defense, then to only charge a aura sphere and fire it once more at the tree Pokémon. Ven smiled at the attack “lead I know you can do better than that make them hurt lets go and fight,” Lucario smirked and then nodded and then brought her arm up pointed her fingers at the Shiftry and waved her fingers in her direction. Then Lucario started to speck in pokespeck, “come on and fights me stop holding back and be a warrior and fight like you mean it stop trying not to hurt me and fight.” Ven looked at Kathy with a smirk he seemed to be enjoying this match after all and with a smirk, “well Kathy it’s your move”
