[ven Hiroshima]

Ven was walking on the beach with just Sandshrew and Nidoran, he had lift Tyrogue, Omaster and Lead back at red dorm to relax and he could focus on evolving the rest of Wardog. Ven turned to the water and smiled as he spent most of his early days at pa hear at this Very beach, the thought brought a smile to his face. After remembering the past Ven sighed and turned to the two base Pokémon, “don’t worry you guys you well evolve soon enough don’t worry soon Nidoran you will be a king and Sandshrew soon you will be a even better Phantom. Hopefully we can find a battle or something we have to find something come on guys let’s keep going.” So Ven continued down the beach trying to find someone or anything that Nidoran and Sandshrew can fight hell maybe they can pull in a double battle and they both could get experience, although that would be a long shot Ven would be good with just a signal bettle with a random trainer but who knows this is pa anything can happen

"Okay, Midnight, mix up the Helping Hand, and Kasai, a little Flamethrower never hurt anyone."

[/b] Melody said to her Pokemon. She added a small giggle to the end of her sentence. "Except, hehe, the opposing Pokemon." [/b]

Melody always seemed hard at work to get her Pokemon to be the best they could be, although sometimes it wasn't always the case, this was simply one of the many activities the young aspiring trainer did to spend quality time with her Pokemon. Since they lived a couple feet away from the beach, they decided to train a bit here.

Midnight began to dance around Kasai, giving the usually shy Cyndaquil an extra boost of morale. At the end of the support move, Kasai began to shoot out a devastating Flamethrower into the ocean, just to test out the move. Melody clapped her hands together. "Ah! Subarashiiiii! <Awesoooooome!>" She squeaked excitedly. "You two are becoming quite a good pair!"[/b]

"<Hey, y'know what, rookie?>"[/b][/font] Midnight, the Eevee grinned at Kasai. "<You don't suck so bad anymore.>"[/b][/font]

"<Th-thanks.>"[/b][/font] Kasai did a back-flip to show his happiness.

Melody clapped her hands together and grabbed ahold of her two Pokemon, hugging them tightly. "You guys are awesome!"[/blockquote][/font]

While Ven was walking down the beach with his two Pokémon a flamethrower shot out in the distance, a fire type in the beach that’s strange. The only reason for that is a fire type belongs to a trainer as Ven thought he decided that he was going to check it out. Ven looked at his Pokémon and smiled, “well it looks like it’s going to be a battle come on guys let’s check it out.” Ven walked up the bend of the beach and saw Melody with her Cydaquill and a Eevee Ven knew it was hers because of the fact of how it was acting. Ven smiled at the sight his hopes of a double battle might come true, “hey Mel.” Ven shouted out for her to hear him and he walked farther down to her to see her better, once Nidoran saw the Cydaquill he pointed his horn at the littlie fire mouse and Sandshrew showed what claws it had at the Eevee. Ven noticed this and he sighed “you to calm down just because Lead is not here you don’t have to act this way Lead well here of this and you well be stuck at the base for the remainder of the week do you understand me.” Hearing Ven’s words Nidoran raised his horn and Sandshrew lowered his claws, Ven nodded “Now play nice.” Ven looked up at Mel and smiled, “sorry about that they really want to fight.”

"<H-Hi there...>"

[/b][/font] Kasai trembled, a bit scared. He had remembered the Nidoran from the last battle he had with him. Even though he had won, Kasai still felt a bit intimidated. "<N-no hard feelings, right?>"[/b][/font]

"<Grow a pair, rookie. Act like you've been there, at least.>"[/b][/font] Midnight sighed, as he stared down the Sandshrew, showing him his fangs, which he had just gotten sharpened, and were nice and shiny. "<What's your deal, Wolverine?>"[/b][/font]

Despite the competitive nature of both Ven and Melody's Pokemon, the girl still managed to keep her composure.

"The way you talk to your Pokemon, kinda sounds like a battle squadron in those violent First Person Shooters... which I'll admit are my guilty pleasure."[/b] Melody looked down at her Pokemon, her eyes alone enough to calm them down, except for Midnight, who was just feisty in his own accord. "Pokemon are not tools of war, of course."[/b]

Melody wasn't scolding Ven, especially not with such a soothing voice. Rather, she sounded more like she was giving out friendly advice.

Smiling warmly, the girl bowed, her singular bang swaying softly as she moved. "Ohayoo gozaimasu--good morning, Ven-san. I'm assuming you're looking for a rematch?"[/b][/blockquote][/font]

Nidoran looked at the Cyndaquill and nodded, “No hard feelings buddy, forth how about we show this guys what Wardog is about.” As Nidoran spoke Sandshrew looked at the Eevee, “I’m up for a little fight and nothings my deal just getting ready for battle.” As the Pokémon had their own convershason Ven looked at Melody and shuck his head, “they may not be tools of war but a Pokémon that can fight and fallow the commands like a shoulder is the most effective in battle, but each trainer has its own way of training there Pokémon. Yes I would like to have a rematch but this time a double battle your Eevee and Cyndaquill vs. my Nidoran and Sandshrew what you say mm.” as she bowed to Ven asking how he was doing Ven bowed back to her, “I’m doing fine and yourself and I see that you have grown your Pokémon up that’s good but so have and Wardog is made to fight as a team so how about it melody would you like to have a little fun.”

"<Alright. I don't mind getting my paws dirty.>"

[/b][/font] Midnight grinned, stretching, and subsequently setting himself up in a battle pose. Normally, when Eevees try to look tough, they end up looking cute, but Midnight had finally managed to make himself look quite menacing.

"<Um... g-good luck.>"[/b][/font] Kasai said timidly, the fire on his back igniting brightly. Kasai, who started out as scared, hapless, and quite frankly, downright pathetic, was starting to gain more and more confidence, and this time around, he felt himself closer to evolution.

Melody began twiddling her thumbs. "Well, I do agree, so long as they're not being pushed too hard."[/b] She looked down at Midnight and Kasai, the two of them definitely ready for a fight.

"Alright, a double battle it is, then. I started our last match, so it's only fair you start the next one."[/b] Melody said, her hand brushing her only bang off her face. It came back to slap her cheek. She sighed, then bowed. "Ganbatte Kudasai, minna-san! <Do your best, everyone!>"[/b][/font][/blockquote]

Ven nodded and looked at Sandshrew and at Nidoran then he smiled “Wardog 3 and 4 engage, Nidoran attack with a poison sting at the Eevee then Sandshrew you use poison sting as well but at the Cyndaquill.” The first thing that Ven wanted to do was just attack with states ailments and then hit them hard he planned for the poison to do the work for him and try his best to not make risky moves, this one was going to be made by the books. Ven after saying his commands looked at Melody, “I push them to be the best at what they do and what there good at their my friends, we are not here to be friends they are here to win and become the best and in tell that’s done we cannot drop are gared.” Ven knew that he was hard on his Pokémon but they knew it and they were ok with it and that was all Ven cared about.

That was it. Ven's words alone triggered a small switch in Melody's psyche. The words 'we are not here to be friends' rang continuously through her head.

"I... see."

[/b] Melody's voice shaked, if just a little bit. Her smile faltered to a disappointed frown. She whispered to herself, as she watched Ven's Pokemon approach. "Sonogo, hotte oku. <Then, so shall it be.>"[/b]

Midnight and Kasai received their respective Poison Stings, but it was too early in the fight for them to really be hurt too badly. Thankfully, they managed to avoid their share of the Poison Ailment.

Clenching her hands into her fists, Melody's carefree and sensitive battle demeanor hid itself somewhere. Instead, now she looked much more menacing. Pushing her glasses up, she nodded at Midnight, then at Kasai. "Hai, Midnight, Tedasuke shite kudasai. Kasai, Funen no Funka shite kudasai!"[/b]

Midnight began to do his usual Helping Hand maneuvers, boosting Kasai's subsequent attack, which was a mixture of Eruption's devastating power, with Lava Plume.

"Go."[/b] Melody said simply, her skirt softly flailing in the wind. As soon as she gave her command, Kasai began to unleash his moves, shooting a destructive barrage in the same esscence of a Volcano, the mixture of the Lava Plume made the attack much prettier, and of course Midnight's Helping Hand, made it much stronger. The gargantuan attack, aimed towards BOTH of Ven's Pokemon, would be rather difficult to match.

Ven saw something different in Melody’s look he body language has become somewhat cold Ven knew what he side to piss he off. Ven shuck his head, “Melody you misunderstand me I have no problems with you being my friend actually I think you’re a really nice and smart girl. But I was referring to my Pokémon they are not here to be my friends they are here to fight and become strong there is time to be friends when the war is done that’s what someone one day tolled me and I believe him but that’s not to I really like being your friend now it’s time to go to battle. Sandshrew use Sandstorm and use the sand storm to dodge the lava plume Nidoran take the hit and then use poison sting once more.” Although Nidoran got burned he took the hit like a champ but Ven knew since Nidoran was burned he would have to move fast with his moves, Nidoran then fired his own states ailments back at the Eevee with another poison sting. Sandshrew rolled in to a ball and started to spin and started up a big sandstorm and then wieped up a sandstorm that he blended in perfectly since they were on the beach he then used the sand storm to make the attack miss him completely. Ven looked at Nidoran still standing he nodded his plan might work, Ven then looked in Melody’s direction “well it’s your turn”

"No. I understand completely."

[/b] Melody said, her eyes staring deep into Ven's. Her attitude was not gathered from a misunderstanding, but rather, Melody knew too well what was going on. His following words managed to further make Melody's blood boil.

She stamped her right foot, and dug deep into the sand of the beach. In a eerie, almost childish voice, Melody repeated her previous statement, with equally scary pauses. "Pokemon... are not... tools... of war."[/b]

Melody snapped her fingers, and changed her view to that of her Cyndaqui. "Kasai! Cancel out the sandstorm! Sunny Day!"[/b]

She then turned to her Eevee, when she snapped her fingers at the right moment, Midnight knew well it was her signal for a dodge. "Midnight! When the Sandshrew's uncovered... Keishoku shite kudasai! Go!!"[/b]

Midnight and Kasai too felt a different aura from their trainer, but they kept on fighting. They assumed that she would get better after the fight. Nodding at each other, the two began to execute their moves. Kasai stood in his hind-legs, and summoned the sun to essentially "wash away" any other weather effect.

Midnight propped himself forward and began doing his combo move of Quick Attack and Bite. Using his speed to propel himself at almost-invisible pace, Midnight was ready to bite down on something.

Melody's hands began to move in an erratic pattern, almost as if she had a piano right in front of her. This battle itself seemed to be bringing back her musical muse.[/blockquote][/font]

Ven looked back in to her eyes “Pokémon are meant to fight for the better of mankind we need them to fight and protect us if you don’t know this my Pokémon well show you true war. Nidoran do not move instead use horn drill and let that thing come to you Sandshrew forget the sandstorm use swift then slash right after it.” Nidoran pointed his horn at the incoming Eevee daring it to keep going as it started to spin, Sandshrew started to shoot sharp stars at the Cydaquill then just as she shot of the last star he jumped razing his claws ready to strike the Cyndaquill in the eyes. Ven saw his Pokémon counter he attacks and looked at Mel “look no hard feelings Melody but it’s your move.”

"Pokemon are not meant solely for combat."

[/b] Melody's right hand shook. "They're our friends, inside the battlefield and out."[/b]

Midnight, who was aiming at Sandshrew, and not Nidoran, obviously avoided the Horn Drill attack.

Kasai wasn't as lucky, and was hit by the starry move of Swift. However, at the sound of Melody's commanding fingers snapping, Kasai managed to move out of the way of the Slash attack.

Understanding that Horn Drill could potentially counter any physical attack she ordered, Melody began to devise her own internal strategy. "Naruhodo ne... <I... see.>"[/b]

"Kasai. Aim at the Nidoran over there and attack from afar. Funen to iimasu! <Use Lava Plume> Go!"[/b] Melody said, nodding at Kasai, then turned to Midnight. "You, on the other hand, keep your focus on Sandshrew. Kick up some sand to cover yourself... Sunda no tosshin desu!"[/b]

Midnight barked, and began charging at the opposing Sandshrew kicking up some sand, using it to smack the Sandshrew right in the eyes, and as he moved on, it also worked as a good way to distract anything in his path with all the annoying sand. Part of the combo, of course, included an oh-so-reckless Take Down attack, aimed right at the Sandshrew's body.

Kasai, on the other hand, did as he was told, and attacked from afar, his Lava Plumes coming right out of his body, the beautiful, and deadly fire entity being shot at high speeds directly to the Nidoran's vicinity.

Melody simply watched the battle unfold, her arms crossed. Occassionaly, the girl would push her glasses up, but nodded as the Pokemon did their moves, no matter what side they were in. [/blockquote][/font]
