[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] I'M SAYIN' I LIKE THE WAY YOU MOVE I WANNA KNOW IF IT'S COOL? Tagged: Seta, Outfit&Room: Here, Music: Send Me The Moon It was late afternoon and Sage only now was moving in to her new silver rank dorm room right next to the beautiful beach. It was very ironic that she loved swimming but she was a fire type specialist. A few of her fire type pokemon hated being so close to the water especially her Magmortar who all his life, lived deep within the volcano on the island. Her female Numel, Amor also lived within the volcano but wasn’t really bothered by the change of environment but still, whatever Huo liked or disliked, she would feel the same way even though she actually didn’t mind. Sage had been surprised when she saw her Darumaka and Houndour actually getting along and playing near the shore of the ocean. She wondered what had changed between them two since Cerberus tended to avoid the Darumaka like the plague as much as he could. What had surprised her even more was when she saw her onyx-colored Ninetales, Persephone swimming in the ocean very casually. She could see Kai enjoying itself from a far distance as it rode a wave back to shore. She wore black and white striped bikini while she had been surfing earlier and wasn’t even sure how many hours she had been surfing and was enjoying her day off from training that she lost track of time and completely forgot what she had originally planned to do today.
Now that she finally dried herself off and changed into a long red tank top, put on dark gray short shorts, and put back on her bright red rose pair of flip flops on her feet, she headed back to room one where another trainer was already living in. She returned all of her pokemon that were out except for her Houndour who she trusted who will not wander off the most next to her starter pokemon, her Magmortar, and Kai. But then again, Huo was irritated being near the beach and Kai was probably exhausted from swimming almost the whole day. Besides weren’t dog pokemon one of the most loyal types of pokemon? She patted Cerberus head and asked him, “Stay here and guard my luggage won’t you?” as he licked her other hand, nodded, and barked in confirmation. She smiled warmly, “Good. I’ll be right back!” She walked looking for the bulletin board that had all the dorm rooms and who were in the rooms. She trailed off asking herself, “Now where’s Room one?”and paused, “Seta?” Was that a guy’s name? She thought she might feel awkward sleeping with a guy but then, it would feel more awkward if it was a guy she actually liked. This wouldn’t be that different from sleeping in the same room as her band mates who actually were all guys. No one dared trying anything on her. She came to a conclusion that she was overthinking things and shouldn’t worry about anything. Besides, she heard from others that Seta was actually a really nice person.
She walked back to the front of Room One scrimmaging for the newly acquired key to her new room and after looking for it for about a minute or so, she took out a fancy looking key. She put the key into the key hole on the door knob and slowly opened the door and asked hesitantly, “Is anyone in here?” When no one responded to her question, she just opened the door to let herself in and her Houndour, Cerberus and seeing the inside was truly taken aback seeing the beautiful scenery of the ocean from the other side. She was very much going to like living in the silver dorms. She shook her head getting herself out of being too mesmerized and grinned at her Houndour, “Now let’s get settled in so we both can rest soon.” Her Houndour grabbed her backpack with his jaw and twirled it to make the backpack go over his back and dropped the backpack next to the empty bed. That nice of him to help her out with though she doubted he’ll be able to help her with the rest of her items since they were much heavier and larger to carry. She said, “You can go rest now Cerberus,” but he looked hesitant so she reassured him, “Don’t worry, you had a long day at the beach. You deserve a break. Now go rest beside the bed for now. I’ll wake you up for dinner.” He looked at her as if he wanted to still help but submitted and laid down next to her plain bed—for now. She wasn’t surprised when she already heard him softly snoring. She carried her large white surfboard carefully inside her room and placed it against the wooden desk that was already there to stabilize it. She brought her heavy bag inside the room and continued unpacking. She sighed knowing unpacking would take longer than she expected especially that she was having a somewhat difficult time laying out her floral sheets on her bed.

Seta walked through the city, going into a grocery store for fresh ingredients. Deciding the way he would introduce himself to his new roommate, would be through a home cooked dinner. "Hmm, I should probably go with a vegetarian dish. I wouldn't want to offend. Oh Yeah, best to account for possible allergies too." Seta chuckled, "A bit too weary Seta, taking all of that into account and you'll be cooking water." he thought to himself, pondering what to cook. "Pasta. Yeah a nice pasta dish, all I need is the proper fruit and vegetables. Maybe a berry mix for the pokemon. Oh I should make a cake as well." he continued, what was supposed to be a simple dinner, had become a lot more than that, Seta had lost himself in the passion for his hobby. "Crap, I overdid it. Oh well, at least I have all my ingredients." he sighed, holding more than several bags. Walking back, Seta's mind began to wander, who exactly wood he be rooming with? Whoever it was, Seta would be glad to have someone to have a conversation with. "I should hurry back to the academy before this chocolate melts." he said picking up his pace.
"Phew, that was quite the journey." he joked. The pampered boy hadn't been used to walking around, every place he'd ever wanted to go, he was always driven there. Though he still enjoyed his way here. His arm's started to ache from carrying the bags, making Seta laugh at himself, he sure knew how to go on an excursion and now he was paying the price. Adjusting his grip on their handles would give some relief, but constantly shifting his grip was tiring. "Well at least I'm almost there." he thought to himself. His walk to the dorm was hurried, even thought there was no specific time to be at the dorm, except curfew, he was hoping to get there before they went off to the dining hall.
"Phew finally." Seta sighed going into his dorm and dropping his bags. They're probably already here." Seta thought. "Best to introduce everyone." Seta took out his two pokeballs, calling out his starter pokemon, a Bronzor he named Bron. And another his Torchic he ned Sol. "Alright you two, let's introduce ourselves shall we?" Seta said to his pokemon. Sol chirped in response while Bronchave what seemed to be a nod. They walked into their new roommate's room. It seemed as if she had already started unpacking.
"Need any help?" Seta asked the young lady with a smile. Going up to help. it seemed rather odd that the school would allow coed dorms. seta had been used to being separated by gender. Though this was a nice change. in fact he thought he would enjoy having the company of a young lady. "Seta Kaizou." he introduced. "Pleaure to meet you." he added. "Sorry, I couldn't be here when you arrived to help unpack." he apologized, really hoping to be there before his roommate arrived. Bron went off to do as he usually did, and stare at her pokemon, the Houndour to be specific. while Sol went up to the lady and began to chirp and hop.
"Please Bron, let's not stare." Seta chuckled. "Well I should introduce them too. That over there is Bron." Seta told, Bron going up to the new roommate in greeting. "And this hyper little lady here is Sol." he said the Torchic hopping up to the girl.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] YOUR FLAVOR IS THE SWEETEST THING IN LIFE Tagged: Seta, Outfit: Here, Music: Chocolate High As Sage was struggling to lay her floral bed sheets up nicely, she heard footsteps from outside and some talking. She wondered out loud, “I wonder if that’s my roommate…” or it could just be another silver dormer walking on by. She continued on unpacking her things and decided not to dwell on the subject since she wanted to finish unpacking as soon as possible so she could get things over with and eat dinner soon. She hoped she wasn’t too late to go down to the dining hall to eat since it was already getting dark. She moved to the other side of the bed to tuck in the bed sheets and sighed, “I officially hate unpacking. Takes too damn long.” At least she had someone to help her unpack when she moved to the yellow dorm room. But it was probably because she was tired and hungry that she thought it was taking too long to unpack. She really could use a snicker bar right about now. Unfortunately, her Darumaka found her stash of snickers and ate most of them while she was out in the city a few days. Damn spoiled Darumaka. But she could not hate her Darumaka, Dobby; he was too adorable though he could use that affection for him against her when he gets into trouble. Those adorable needy eyes that made Sage forget she was mad at Dobby. Finally! She smoothen out her bed sheets and now to put the blanket over the floral bed sheets. She took out the blue floral blanket and spread it out as she straightened out the right side of the blanket and now she had to do the left side. She didn’t want her roommate to think she was a slob or anything.
She didn’t notice the room’s door opening or anyone coming in for the matter since she was too preoccupied settling herself and making her bed nice. She did however hear her Houndour bark to get her attention and tap her side with his nose made her notice the handsome silver-haired guy who was quite a few inches taller than her. He was taller than most of her friends actually. Uh attractive? That wasn’t the right word for him. He was well, hot. Yeah that’s that the right word. After a few seconds, she shook her head getting her out of the trance of checking him out and finally registered what he had asked. He wasn’t the dangerous kind of hot like Laz was but another level of hot, like a mysterious aura about him that made Sage want to know more about him. She couldn’t help herself from checking out a good-looking guy. She even had checked out her guy friends Tom and Rai. Rai was seriously so adorable and had a babyface she just wanted to pinch. Tom was the rough type of handsome, that farmer guy. They both were attractive in their own way. She didn’t mind being single for now. She almost stuttered and hesitated, “Uh help? Um I got it in a bit,” she continued as she walked to the other side of the room closer to where Seta was at, “But introductions come first since we’ll be living together from now on right?” He then introduced himself and she gave him a foxy grin, “Sage Ryland, a pleasure to meet you too.” He was quite charming indeed and seemed like he came from an upper-class background based on how his charming quality he presented her with, while she learned how to be charming when she dealt with people on the streets. Better to be charming than to act all tough when you needed to defend yourself against thugs and bitches on the streets.
He then apologized to her for not being there when she first moved in and smiled reassuring him, “Don’t worry about it. I’m almost finished anyway. All I need to do is fix my bed and the alarm clock stereo.” She watched him bring out a Bronzor and a Torchic and introduced them to her. She gave the Bronzor a wave and smiled warmly at him, “It’s nice to meet you Bron.” She wasn’t sure if his Bronzor responded to her greeting since Bron apparently didn’t have any arms to wave back at her with. She smiled widely cocking her head to the side seeing the adorable fire-type bird pokemon Torchic named Sol looking back at her and squealed as the bird pokemon jumped at her. She caught the little bird pokemon in her arms and hugged the bird pokemon gently making sure she wasn’t squeezing the Torchic too tightly. She giggled as she patted the bird pokemon’s head, “Hi there Sol, it’s nice to meet you too.” Even though she didn’t want to, she put the Torchic down and replied to Seta, “That guy over there who’s sniffing you right now is my Houndour, Cerberus.” She glanced at her Houndour who seemed to be checking if Seta was a threat or not and Sage continued, “He’s well a bit protective of me. But he’s really friendly once he gets to know you better.” She called out, “Cer come back here” as he strutted himself proudly back to her and sat down beside her. She admitted to Seta, “I would introduce you to my other fire type but um, they have very strong personalities, which usually leads to chaos. Sorry about that. I’ll introduce you to them later. I have a Ninetales, Magmortar, Numel, Darumaka, and my only water type, Kai. They’re very loyal so don’t have to worry about them. Well maybe Darumaka, he’s a troublemaker.” She sighed thinking about all the havoc and all the cleaning she had to do because of him.
She noticed a few bags of—were they ingredients of some sort? She asked her roommate curiously, “Are you going to cook something tonight?” There were a lot of ingredients in the few bags! She looked down in embarrassment, “I didn’t even get you anything…” She sighed since she didn’t even think about getting him anything. She was determined to get him something next time when she had the chance to do so. Trying to not think about any thoughts, she gave him a small smile asking him, “So what are you making? Need help with anything Seta?” and continued with a laugh, “I suck at cooking but not bad at helping. Well as long as someone tells me what to do.” Neither her Mom nor Dad really had the chance to teach her how to cook or bake since they weren’t good at cooking and didn’t have to the patience to do so they would usually order take-out whenever they could. She didn’t have the patience on learning how to cook herself since no one was really interested in teaching her how to cook. It would be nice if someone could teach her sometime. Maybe her roommate could teach her one day. She put asking him if he could teach her in the back of her mind so she’ll be able to remember to ask him to teach her later on. She added, “Maybe you could give me some pointers on cooking?” |

Seta couldn't help but gaze at the beauty before him. From her light blonde hair, which under a different light made Seta mistake it as a soft white, and soft red eyes. To the way she held herself and spoke. Even her name was beautiful. "Well Sage, I look forward to our time together." he said, giving a smile in return. It seems fortune had smiled upon the silverette. This dorm room was going to be a lot more lively with Sage here. Well at least he hoped it would. "What am I thinking! It will be fun with Sage here. I'm glad it's the two of us rooming together." he thought, trying to flush out his negative thoughts. When Sage began to speak, Seta listened intently.
"Wow Sage, your the second person I've met with such an impressive collection of Pokemon. I am quite impressed. Though, will they be hungry? I have brought enough supplies so I can prepare dinner for us and the pokemon." he said. "Ah, speaking of dinner, I'd best get to preparing." he said answering Sage's question. "It may look like alot right now, but by the time I'm done we will have dinner and dessert tonight. Your a fan of chocolate, yes?" Seta asked with a smile, going off and taking his bags into the kitchen. Seta began running the sink, washing off his knives and all other tools he would need in preparing dinner. "Tonight I am going to serve you, don't worry about presents it really isn't necessary." he told, he didn't want Sage feeling bad on her first day meeting him. Seta kept his attention on what he Especially when she asked what he was cooking. "I wouldn't want to ruin a surprise Sage. Please, don't worry, I should finish this quickly." he told. "Hmm? If you would like to learn how to cook Sage, I'd be honored, no I'd be delighted to teach you." he changed his answer. "In fact, on second thought, how about we make dessert together? So we can get started on your lessons today. Once we finish eating dinner of course."
"Okay, I should probably get to making the sauce." he thought. Seta reached into one of the bags, taking out two tomatoes, oregano and other dry herbs placing them on the counter. "Shame I'll have to use some processed ingredients." he didn't have the luxury of chefs making and preserving their own ingredients now that he was at school. Nevertheless Seta took out three small cans. Seta than searched the cabinets for a cutting board, taking out a long wooden slab. "Most of the kitchen supplies brought from hom, other things like ingredients and dinnerware I buy as I need so I've always been able to cook my own meals." he informed, as he started dicing the tomatoes. "Sorry, I didn't know if you were vegetarian or not so I went with a vegetarian meal." he apologized. With the last of the tomato cut, Seta took a pan and placed it on the stove. Then went over to his bags and took out a bottle of olive oil. Placing a small amount onto the pan.
With the sauce pan prepped Seta slowly turned the heat on. When the oil started to boil, Seta put the tomatoes in. He then took a spoon and began stirring slowly. With the tomato slowly cooking, Seta took a can opener and opened each individual can, throwing their lids in the trash. With another step done, Seta took the cans and scooped the tomato paste into the same pan as the tomatoes. Adding a small cup of water to help loosen the ingredients. "Ah, almost forgot." Seta went to his bag and took an onion and package of mushrooms, placing them on his wooden slab, picking up his knife and chopping. The onion diced, so that they wouldn't overpower the tomato. While the mushrooms were made into slices. With the final two ingredients placed in the mixture Seta put the herbs in and left the sauce alone to simmer.
Seta then took out a box of fettuccine pasta, and a large silver pot. He filled the pot with water, and a dash of olive oil, putting the now heavy pot on the stove, he turned it's burner's heat up high. Trying to boil the water fast. When the small bubbles rose to the waters surface, Seta dumped the pasta in the pot and placed a lid over top. "Once the pasta's done, dinner will be done Sage." Seta said cheerfully.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] AND I DON’T KNOW WHY, I CAN’T KEEP MY EYES OFF OF YOU Tagged: Seta, Outfit&Room: Here, Music: Tied Up In You When she saw him gazing at her for a while, she wondered and shifted feeling a tad bit nervous thinking that maybe she had something on her face. Well, something besides her own eyes, ears, mouth, lip, and everything else that’s supposed to be there. But then she realized that she had washed her face and took a relaxing shower after she went surfing at the beach. She didn’t want to smell all salty from the ocean water. She’d rather be smell nice and be squeaky nice when she would meet her new roommate especially since she never met her roommate and didn’t know how her roommate would react to her moving in to the silver dorm room. She was glad her roommate, Seta turned out to be an easy-going and an attractive looking guy. He was easy on the eyes. She replied happily, “I look forward to spending time with you too.” She hoped so at least. She hoped she didn’t give him the wrong impression and made him think she was in to him but at the same time, she hoped that he thought she was attractive. But then, she felt like slapping herself for thinking those thoughts. What am I thinking? He’s just a roommate…just a guy she was rooming with every single night in her stay at the pokemon academy…
After Seta had complimented her collection of pokemon that she had, she felt embarrassed and blushed brightly. She was a sucker for compliments. She replied slightly still blushing, “It’s not that much but thanks Seta,” and continued hesitantly, “I think they must be hungry but uh one problem…” and emphasized nervously, “When my Numel gets hungry, she gets really hungry. Just a small warning.” She still had some trouble with her Numel’s greediness when it came to eating and sharing with others. Sometimes she would sneakily steal some of her other pokemons’ food when Sage wasn’t looking. Seta was pretty nice guy for offering to prepare food for both of them as well as the pokemon. She gave a wide smile, “Both dinner and dessert? That’s…that’s awesome! Thanks!” She was a bit embarrassed hearing her stomach grumble loudly, “I actually haven’t eaten for uh hours.” She chirped happily, “Chocolate? I love chocolate! I haven’t had chocolate for a while. You’re…you’re awesome!” She couldn’t wait for the dessert but she had to be patient. At the same time, she felt like slapping herself for saying awesome more than once. That was mature right, not. Why couldn’t she think of another word to say? After he said she didn’t have to give him any presents, she replied with determination, “Well when I get better at cooking, I’ll make you something! I don’t want to poison you or anything so I promise you, I’ll get really good and make you something really delicious!” Then he continued saying the dish would be a surprise and she didn’t need to worry about anything. She smiled warmly as she put a strand of her hair behind her ear, “Okay, I won’t worry. I like surprises.” After he agreed to being her cooking teacher, she admitted, “When it comes to cooking, I’m a slow learner but I’ll try my best helping you out especially that we’ll be making dessert together” and gave him a thankful hug and kiss on the cheek.
She watched him intently as he got out all his cooking ingredients for making dinner and thought that he really knew what he was doing. She did have her doubts before but those thoughts were forgotten by then. She followed him to the kitchen as she heard him musing to himself saying something about processed ingredients. What were processed ingredients? She wanted to slap herself for not knowing what they were but of course, she actually wouldn’t want to hurt herself. Putting that in the back of her mind to ask him later, she continued observing what he was doing. She gave an amazed look at him, “I wish I was pro like you” and giggled slightly. His hands were very experienced as she watched him dicing the tomatoes. She wondered if his hands were experienced in other things as she mused to herself. She took a deep breath to calm her mind and thoughts. What was she thinking? Instead, he crimson eyes drifted toward his blue eyes that reminded her of the ocean and she was sinking into it. His eyes were like the calming ocean, so relaxing. The blue ocean was her favorite place to relax and his eyes…his eyes, she was hypnotized by his ocean. She shook her head and put both her hands in her pockets. She was supposed to be paying attention to his cooking not just him! She vaguely heard him saying something about a vegetarian meal. She decided to wing her reply hoping it was what he was talking about, “Oh no, it’s alright. I’m not picky. Well except for olives, tastes weird in my mouth” as she jokingly made a face of how she would react to olives being in her mouth.
This was one of reasons why she wasn’t good at cooking. Although she was patient in most things, when it came to cooking—she would become impatient waiting for the food to be done and feel antsy wanting to eat the food already. How did Seta have this patient? Not really doing anything and wanting to finish settling into her room, she sighed and decided to keep herself busy. She started after hearing Seta say that once the pasta’s done that dinner would be finished, “Okay” and continued, “I’m going to finish up unpacking while you’re cooking” as she gave him a foxy grin and strutted back to her side of their room. She only actually just needed to fix up her bed sheets and put up her Charmander poster. She already put everything else in her side of the room including her mp3 player speakers, radio, and alarm clock. Once she got back to her side of the room, she patted her Houndour for not causing any trouble and being obedient and returned him—for now. She fixed up her floral bed, put up her Charmander poster above her desk, and plopped herself on her new bed as she looked up at the ceiling wondering what she could do for Seta tonight even though he said she didn’t need to give him any presents. She pondered, “Now what should I do” and after at least a few seconds, like a light bulb, knew what she could do tonight. I could provide the entertainment of the night! She hummed to herself pondering, “But what song should I sing tonight?” She took out her music player and shuffled through her songs. She said in frustration as she shook the music player to shuffle the songs, “Ugh, most of these songs I have are love songs!” She took a deep breath and shuffled it one last time. This has to be the song! She closed her eyes and held her breath in suspense finally looking at the song she shuffled for. She grumbled, “Another love song? Ugh fine, I give up,” and resigned to just singing that song, “At least I know this song and have the background music.” So she sat on the edge of her new bed, listening to her music player, and began humming to the lyrics of the song. She wanted to surprise him with her own talent tonight. ”Even when your lips begin to speak I feel the feeling coming over me But meeting you like this is scaring me But I lost myself you see” |

Seta listened to Sage, taking the compliment, even if it wasn't the most mature thing in the world. He shouldn't expect her to be the same as him though, maturity and manner were necessary for Seta to learn for his lifestyle back at home. Being around peers of his own age, it was hard to kick his habits. Seta was happy that Sage looked forward to learning how to cook, though he wasn't expecting her actions. A hug, and a kiss on the cheek. It wasn't a sign of affection, more like a thank you. Nevertheless, the pale boy's complexion changed to a soft red. He coughed in his fist. "Y-yes well. I'll start dinner t-then." he scolded himself for stuttering. "Calm Seta, keep composure." he thought to himself.
"Well, I wouldn't say a pro, I just had great teachers. The chefs at home were kind to me, they even gave me some recipes to try." he said. In fact one of the recipes was the dessert he was planning on baking. As he waited for the pasta to finish cooking, Seta sighed and leaned against the countertop. Some time to himself for now, seeing Sage had gone into her room. Giving his thoughts the room to wander. He laughed at himself, Seta wasn't the talkative type but he couldn't help it near Sage, it was the only thing he felt like doing. He wanted to know more about her, her story. he chuckled at himself, seeing himself as a curious little boy in a young man's body.
"Ah it's probably done now." he said to himself. Looking through the cabinets taking out a colander which he placed in the sink. Turning the heat of the stove off, Seta took out two pot holders and placed them on his hand. He picked up the pot, feeling some heat breach through the thick cotton gloves. Taking it over to the sink, Seta poured the water in the sink, taking the noodles with it. The colander separating the water from the noodles. As the water slowly went down the drain, the steaming noodles stood in the colander, it's heat evaporating some of the water on them. Though steam still fogged Seta's glasses. He chuckled at himself for not taking them off earlier. rinsing the pasta cool, Seta took the colander an placed it on the counter.
"Well I should probably get to preparing the pokemon's food." Their meal was a bit simpler. All he would have to do is cut the berries. "Sage said her Numel eats alot." he thought to himself, taking a root from his bags, "This Energy Root should solve that problem." This was a peculiar item, known for it's fibrous texture, and bitter flavor. "Oh Sol!" Seta called. The tiny bird, running to Seta's side after it's name was called. "Wanna be my taste tester?" he asked, the Torchic hopping with excitement. "Great, Bron. Would you mind bringing all of the roots and berries here?" he asked his starter, who made a nodding motion in agreement. The Bronzor lifted a bag and emptied it's contents in Seta's workplace.
Bunches of various berries littered Seta's space, along with various nuts, an energy root, and granola "Great, this should be rather fast. Bron, bring seven dishes over. Sol would you please help?" Seta asked his pokemon , Bron obediently going to look for the dishes while Sol sulked behind. It only wanted to taste the food. Without Sol's help Bron brought the bowls to Seta. "Great, thank you Bron." Seta took the root, and began cutting shaves of the root off. He only cut a small amount, it had too strong of a flavor for anything more than a garnish.
"Now then, these berries need to be cut." Seta thought. "Oran, Pecha, Cheri, Lum and Sitrus. Perfect, six of each." he thought counting the berries, taking his knife and beginning to cut. The Pecha berries were first, the sweet berries were soft and easy to cut into thin slices. The sitrus berries were next, they were thick and large, perfect to use as a base for the mixture, he diced each. His knife moving fast to quickly finish the Pokemon's meal. Seta took a large bowl and placed the cut berries into the bowl, leaving him with the Oran, Lum and Cheri berries to cut. The Oran berries were like small versions of Sitrus berries though their taste were slightly different, Seta chopped the berries the same though, dicing them and placing them into the bowl. Finally there were the Cheri berries, small, spicy this was only going to be used as a garnish. Seta chopped it finely and left it on his board, he then took the cut berries and tossed them into the bowl. Lastly he cut the Lum berries into dices, they had an interesting flavor, able to hit each taste except for sour. Thankful too, its hard to make use of a sour flavor.
Finally Seta added in the granola, and nuts. For fiber, protein and also texture. A bunch of soft berries wouldn't be enough for pokemon now would it? Tossing the mixture together, then preparing a large pot. Pouring the mixture into the pot and turning the heat on. The berries aroma filled the kitchen, the sweet smell lured Sol towards the pot. "Not yet Sol, its almost done." Adding a half cup of flour and sugar to the mixture. "Hmm, still a little dry." he noticed adding water. The mixture made a sweet sauce that coated the chopped berries and granola. He took a small spoon and scooped a little up, holding it near Sol, who pecked at the blend to taste. "It's okay right? Not too sweet?" he asked. The Torchic smiled at him and gave an enthusiastic cry. It clearly liked it. With that, the berry blend was finished. Seta served equal amounts into the seven bowls, with more leftover. Lucky too since her Numel is a hungry one. "Now for our plates." Seta said taking out a pasta fork, and two plates. Placing an equal amount in each plate, then putting the sauce over top. Placing a fork on each plate. "Sage, dinner is ready" he chimed. He wasn't one to care for others opinions, but when it came to cooking, he was all ears.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] I CAN’T KEEP MY EYES OFF OF YOU Tagged: Seta, Outfit: Not posted, Music: Just Friends After she had thanked him for being the one who would make dinner and agreeing to teach her too, she let go of him and was mildly surprised that her affectionate tendencies seen to have startled him and even made him stutter. She giggled in amusement and flashed him a sun bright smile. There was that something that drew her to him but she couldn’t pin point what it was. He was just different. She wasn’t used to conversing with such a cultured looking guy and somehow, he was strangely beautiful. This was unprecedented since the guy she would usually talk to and lived with were like the diamonds in the rough. This guy must be from a different social background than her. Maybe he was upper-class meaning he was out of her league! And he was such a nice guy who seemed so mature. She wished she had some of that maturity but still, she was mature in own way she guessed. Only thing that she lacked was that upper-class sort of aura that he projected. But what she lacked in that category, she made up for it by having the grace of a dancer. It certainly helped her out developing her dancing and musical skills rather than lazing around at home.
Wait did he just say chefs at home? He was very lucky! She wished she had a chef at home instead of waiting for one of the boys to come home to cook dinner or just eating take-out. Ramen and eating delivery pizza occasionally weren’t really a good diet to have. Her eyes were filled with curiosity asking, “You really have your own chef? Wow!” and she calmed down giving him a soft smile, “They must be great people too. I bet the food will be very delicious, I know it will be.” She hoped she could help him cook some food sometime. She didn’t want to be judgmental but she didn’t think a guy like him would know how to cook when she had realized that he was most likely rich. She continued with eyes sparkling of wistfulness, “Hm, life would have much more interesting if I was interested in cooking back then. When I moved out of my parents house,” she didn’t think of it as her house since she felt like she didn’t belong there, “I had to fend for myself and buy ramen. I had no idea how to cook anything; well rice was easy of course. The good thing was, I found good friends who helped me find a place to stay and recommended me to the pokemon academy and led me to meeting an interesting and really nice guy like you” as she gave him a face full of thankfulness and a cheery smile. She hoped she didn’t make her life sound depressing to him. But still, he was opening up to her so in turn, she decided to open up to him as well.
She had been humming the song she had been singing for a while but before she knew it, she lost all her concentration and knocked out very fast. It most likely was because she had been surfing for hours and hours before she had settled into her new dorm room. Now it seemed she was totally exhausted. But once she heard that dinner was ready, she automatically got back up like a light bulb and was on full alert looking around the room for the awaited food she was looking forward to eating. She asked softly with child-like curiosity, “Food?” She was still a bit out of it. She just hoped she didn’t give him the wrong impression on her first day of meeting him. Thus, she fixed her posture and recomposed herself from her sleepy state and replied, “Thanks Seta. Really appreciate it.” Seeing the dinner already on the table, she picked up her fork and slowly chewed her noodles as she savored the delicious pasta he made. After she ate her first bite, she had such cheerful expression and pure excitement giving him a luminous smile. Her face erupted into a foxy wide smile saying, “It—it’s so delicious! Haven’t had such a delicious tasting dish for a long time. Café meals aren’t the same.” Before she took another bite, she continued with excitement, “Seta, let’s eat together!” And then she released her darumaka, houndour, ninetales, starmie, numel, and magmortar to eat their poke food. They rushed to the poke food since they had a long day too and were very hungry. Sage was a bit worried that her numel would try to steal but surprisingly, Amor didn’t even attempt to do so. They must love the food Seta made too. She had to admit that Seta was very talented at cooking, very talented even in the looks department. She couldn't help but gaze into his brilliant ocean blue eyes and his cute smile.

He chuckled, "Yeah, they were great people, militant, nevertheless they were more family than my actual parents." he sighed. "Many times I felt there only purpose for me was to show me off to business partners and be the successor for their business." he quickly began laughing off his quick moment of vulnerability. "If I had stayed there any longer they would have arranged a marriage for me." Watching the pokemon eat, he was thankful that they actually enjoyed it. His Bronzor floated by his side and gave it's usual smile. Seta smiled back "Thank you Bron." he thanked patting the top of it. Even though it could never eat, it was still willing to help its trainer. Contrary to Sol who was pecking at her food, taking breaks every so often, Seta knew she wouldn't finish, she never did.
"I'm glad you like it Sage. I enjoy cooking for others. More than myself actually." he chuckled. Her story had been on his mind for a while, just watching her enjoy his cooking brought a smile to his face. "Sage, as long as your here with me. I will make sure you have home cooked meals. Then when we part ways, you'll be able to show your brothers a thing or two about home cooking." he said smiling at the young lady. She surely was something amazing, her red eyes and what he guessed was a fascination with fire pokemon made her seem like fire itself. A gentle, and warming flame that would draw Seta in, making him want to get close to her. From her story she was unlike him, a fact he enjoyed, actually encouraged. There were many times when Seta just wanted to be normal. Though he couldn't act like the common passerby, he was too well 'groomed' to be like that. His parents would have a heart attack if they saw his dressing now. Then her smile, a luminous, honest smile that made her even more attractive. No she wasn't fire, that wasn't accurate enough. Sage was the luminous sun.
Seta chuckled, something he seems to be doing a lot of around Sage. That or coughing into his fist. "You know Sage, you remind me of a poem I used to read at home." he closed his eyes trying to recall the exact words of his favorite category of literature. "Have you ever seen anything in your life more wonderful
than the way the sun, every evening, relaxed and easy, floats toward the horizon
and into the clouds or the hills, or the rumpled sea, and is gone-- and how it slides again
out of the blackness, every morning, on the other side of the world, like a red flower
streaming upward on its heavenly oils, say, on a morning in early summer, at its perfect imperial distance-- and have you ever felt for anything such wild love-- do you think there is anywhere, in any language, a word billowing enough for the pleasure
that fills you, as the sun reaches out, as it warms you
as you stand there, empty-handed-- or have you too turned from this world--
or have you too gone crazy for power, for things?"
[/i] he quoted its author. "Well I haven't turned from this world, nor have I gone crazy. Now, I feel my reward for doing so was showing me the way to found that beautiful sun the author was referring to." the words escaped his lips. "S-sorry, I'm being emotional." A slight red flushed across his cheeks, "What were you thinking Kaizou!" his thoughts scolded him. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] YOU ARE EVERYTHING I NEVER KNEW THAT I’VE ALWAYS WANTED Tagged: Seta, Outfit&Room: Here, Music: Will You Be There Sage listened to him interestingly and with curious eyes because she had never had a conversation with high-class and rich guy like her new roommate, Seta. Her attractive face began to look discouraged and inferior because he presented himself with much natural sophistication, while she tended to be awkward and was of a lower-class status. She wished being sophisticated was as natural as it was to him since she had practiced acting in that manner to override her awkwardness and insecurities. It certainly led others to believe she was as charming and confident as she seemed outwardly. But inwardly, she was just a regular insecure teenager who since really wanted guidance and most of all, someone to recognize her for who she really was. That was the thing though; she was fairly able to mask her true emotions with a bright smile. She had honed that ability ever since she was a young child who couldn’t afford to look weak or vulnerable in front of others. But somehow ever since she entered the pokemon academy, she had let her emotions get the best of her and even broke down in tears a few weeks ago. But Seta’s life seemed much like a dream to her. She could understand how lonely it could be when your parents weren’t really your actual parents in the sense of not being there for you in the way a child would want a parent to be. She had never met a friend who had a truly happy family. She cynically doubted that there was such that kind of family. She continued listening in wonder of his life story that seemed like a whole different world to her. She shuddered in the thought of her strict parents when he had said that his parents were of the militant sort. She was a free-spirited and too stubborn to be tied down and sheltered by her overprotective parents. She wouldn’t be the same person as she was today. Did he just say something about him being the successor of a business? She wondered what business his family owned but still, that must have hurt him feeling like they just wanted to show him off to their business partners. As business people, his parents must have been very busy what was she guessed business deals and whatnot. They must have loved him deep down inside but maybe business work got in the way though she couldn’t exactly judge since she never met his parents before. She continued eating the pasta slowly since she wanted to savor to delicious taste of the food that he cooked and that she was preoccupied listening to what he was saying.
Did he just say arranged marriage? She widened her eyes in disbelief since she didn’t those types of marriages existed anymore. She had read romantic novels of how girls were in arranged marriages but fell in love with someone else they actually had feelings for but those girls were like princesses. She blurted out her utmost opinion, “But shouldn’t it be about love? Don’t they care about that at all?” Realizing what she had blurted out, she gave a bright red blush and looked down in embarrassment. She apologized, “Sorry about that. I guess I think marriages should be about more about love than anything else.” Gosh, why was she so awkward right now? Then she looked back up at him still blushing and held his hand for comfort, “If you ever need someone to talk to, I’ll be there for you,” she paused trying to figure out why she said that but continued with nervousness in her feminine voice, “Um since we’re roommates of course!” It seemed that only in the beginning of the night, already her emotions were all over the place. She saw his bronzor float to his side and seemingly smiled to console its trainer and she smiled seeing Seta patting the bronzor right after. It was nice to see the beautiful friendships between trainers and their own pokemon. She gave him a soft smile after that thought, “Your bronzor really cares about you,” and giggled jokingly at his pokemon, “Don’t you Bronzor?” It was nice to see something adorable after such an open and serious conversation mostly on his part.
She listened to him in fascination in how humble and selfless her roommate presented himself to be. He told her that he liked cooking for others more than for himself instead. He was too nice of a guy, which was a good thing in her book since she never meet a calm and relaxed guy like him before. It was actually very refreshing. If it was her, she wouldn’t have the patience nor the skills to even cook for anyone else. She sighed knowing patience was something she lacked so far. She actually had patience when it came to training her pokemon but when it came to other skills namely cooking and waiting, she couldn’t stand it and would begin tapping or something else to contain her restlessness. Her face brightened up thinking of an idea, “Maybe you could become a Chef! You know, since you like cooking for others,” and gave him a foxy grin, “You’re really great at cooking. It’s delicious and I bet many others would think so too.” But then she unsurely remembered that he said something about him becoming the successor to his family’s business. She totally forgot about that. She began to pick on her food nervously since she felt quite embarrassed not thinking before she talked once again. But the question was, did he want to be a businessman? She rather ask that personal question if she became his close friend. She did hope she would become his friend at least.
Her heart began fluttering as fast a speeding hummingbird maybe even faster. Sage’s cheeks were as red as a cherry when she saw her roommate giving a seemingly calm smile in delight at her from the corner of her soft red eyes. She almost didn’t catch that rare and pure moment since she was preoccupied eating at the moment. At least she was almost done with the yummy pasta he cooked for dinner. But what really sent her heart beating as fast as a drum beat and blushing bright red was when he said that part about ‘as long as you’re here with me.’ Seta saying he’ll make sure she’ll have home-cooked meals and he’ll help her learn how to cook so she could show her she guessed adopted brothers how much she improved in cooking, actually didn’t affect her as much as the first sentence that he told her. She knew that he didn’t mean to imply and of course, wasn’t implying anything of the romantic sort but she definitely was affected by it. The thing was, she didn’t know what this feeling was. She hoped she wasn’t developing a crush on this guy because she wasn’t sure if she was ready to begin liking another guy after her sort of relationship with her ex-boyfriend. But that was different; she had been in love that Laz was in love with her. It was not really the case of her actually being truly in love with him. She’d rather not risk anything and avoid love if that was possible. She had a bad feeling that it wasn’t possible. Now, she was thankful she met Seta since she felt she and him would get along just fine and that he offered to help her out. The soft pink ribbons of her lips were gently tugged upwards behind the veil of her fingertips as she smiled shyly. She replied, “Thank you. I really do appreciate it Seta,” and paused, “I can show my boys, my band mates I perform with, that I’m not aiming to kill them” she shuddered remembering she accidently put the wrong kind of pepper into her sort of soup and would have sent them to the hospital if someone didn’t recognize all those green peppers added into the supposed mild soup.
She had to do the embarrassing motion of shaking her head to release herself from his hypnotizing deep ocean eyes she had began to drown into. He was like the calming azure ocean that tamed her burning fire. He just made her feel relaxed and calm with the small exception that he had made her beating heart flutter a few times during their conversation. Was the latter a good or bad sign? She didn’t know. She didn’t even want to explore those unsure and most likely romantic thoughts on this crystalline night brilliant with stars. She’d rather enjoy this night of celebration of moving in than think of a turmoil of thoughts. She was fortunate enough that he distracted her from her thoughts. She felt a bit nervous when he said that she reminded him of a poem he used to read back home and unfortunately blushed bright red once again. She shyly smiled at the thought of a poem he read that reminded him of her. She hoped it was nothing bad about her. But she stupidly wanted to hit herself at that thought since of course, he wouldn’t be reading out a poem if it was something bad about her. The poem was utterly beautiful and entrancing that she began to become lost in the prose of the poem and the metaphorical descriptions. She began twirling her golden locks in nervousness but also in wonder of how the poem described her. The poem was very beautiful. Now, she wasn’t exactly sure if it actually reminded him of her anymore. Like a light bulb, she realized he was describing her as the beautiful sun. Did he really think of her like that? She seriously couldn’t stop blushing and she could feel her cheeks slightly hurt from blushing too much but she just couldn’t help it this time. What also got her blushing was how husky and sexy his voice sounded to her. It did actually turn her on. Was this room getting hotter or was it just her? Once he was finished, she couldn’t help but mutter under her breath in wonder at the beautiful and flattering poem, “Wow…” Then she heard him apologizing for being emotional but she gave him a reassuring look though still nervous, “No—no…it’s fine. That was a beautiful poem. I’m glad you shared it with me Seta.” Her heart was still beating as fast as a pounding drum beat but that was just fine—for now. She was just unsure of the impending future living with him. It puzzled her that he was such a calming guy but still made her feel high with her passionate flames of her beating heart.
She gave him a foxy grin and had eyes of determination since she wanted to share with him with her best talent than the rest of her few musical skills. She just hoped and prayed that she would do alright sharing and singing with her supposedly ‘angelic voice’ that her band mates said that she naturally had. But the only thing was that she was unsure of her singing abilities since she was actually the ‘Red Scarfs’ drummer, not the lead vocalist. She only performed for her band mate on several occasions when he was sick though she had a feeling that it was a setup to get her to sing in front of others. People did say that she was great at singing and at her first performance as lead vocalist they had told her that she had never missed a note and sounded like a golden angel from above. Even though she seemed to hate that they forced her to sing and all the attention, she actually relished that feeling of being in front of others. But she was afraid that she might just forget the lyrics again. Still, maybe she’ll forget that insecurity during her time at the pokemon academy. She said with a nervous voice, “Um I know you showed your talent of cooking so I think it’s only right that I share my talent of singing.” She paused remembering something her band mate said to her, “Like my band mate said, ‘It’s only right to share your best talent with everyone.” She took a deep breath in calming her nerves since she wanted to try her luck on a harder song with a higher and various range of notes. She added, “Um if I sound bad, uh I really never practiced this song. Only learned this song a few days ago. So yeah, it might sound pitchy.” Hopefully that wasn’t the case and she rather want to kill this song, in a good way of course. She got up from her seat, walked to her music player that was on the table, and hooked it up to the speakers to play the instrumental. She took out her fake microphone from her drawer and began singing her heart out.
"Do do doop Do do doop do doop da dum Do do doop dum Do do doop do doop da dum
Do do doop Do do doop do doop da dum Do do doop dum Do do doop do doop da dum
We were as one babe For a moment in time And it seemed everlasting That you would always be mine
Now you want to be free So I'm letting you fly 'Cause I know in my heart babe Our love will never die, no
You'll always be a part of me I'm a part of you indefinitely Boy don't you know you can't escape me Ooh darling, 'cause you'll always be my baby
And we'll linger on and on Time can't erase a feeling this strong No way you're never gonna shake me Ooh darling, 'cause you'll always be my baby
Do do doop Do do doop do doop da dum Do do doop dum Do do doop do doop da dum
I ain't gonna cry no And I won't beg you to stay If you're determined to leave boy I will not stand in your way
But inevitably you'll be back again 'Cause you know in your heart babe Our love will never end, no
You'll always be a part of me I'm part of you indefinitely Boy don't you know you can't escape me Ooh darling, 'cause you'll always be my baby
And we'll linger on and on Time can't erase a feeling this strong No way you're never gonna shake me Ooh darling,'cause you'll always be my baby
(I know that you'll be back boy) When your days and your nights get a little bit colder, oh (I know that) You'll be right back, baby Well, baby believe me it's only a matter of time, time
You'll always be apart of me And I'm part of you indefinitely Boy don't you know you can't escape me Ooh darling, 'cause you'll always be my baby
And we'll linger on and on (And we will linger on and on) Time can't erase a feeling this strong No way you're never gonna shake me (Ooh baby) Ooh darling, 'cause you'll always be my baby
You'll always be apart of me And I'm part of you indefinitely Boy don't you know you can't escape me Ooh darling, 'cause you'll always be my baby (No, no)
(You and I will always be) And we'll linger on and on Time can't erase a feeling this strong (You and I) No way you're never gonna shake me (You and I) Ooh darling, 'cause you'll always be my baby
(You and I will always be) Do do doop Do do doop do doop da dum (No way your never gonna shake me) Do do doop dum (No way your never gonna shake me) Do do doop do doop da dum
(You and I will always be) Do do doop Do do doop do doop da dum Do do doop dum (No matter what you do baby) Do do doop do doop da dum"
When she finished with the love song, she was already out of breath from this hard song that she attempted to sing to and share with him. For some reason, she felt really good singing the whole song and the fact that she realized she hadn’t missed a note or sounded pitchy this time. Sometimes she just wanted to be reassured that she did well by others. She quickly took a sip of water since by the time she was done with the song, she was already out of breath and losing the adrenaline she had from singing that song. She asked him, “So how was it? Was it alright?” She hoped he didn’t think she liked him like how she was already beginning to feel for him. It was too early but it was too late. While singing the song, she had realized that she was infatuated with him. She wasn’t sure why she felt this way about him. She could think of already some reasons on the top of her head. He definitely was attractive with his cool blue eyes and slender body that was still masculine. His husky voice while reading the poem was a dead giveaway. The other reason was that he offered to teach her how to cook without any conditions, anything he wanted her to do in return. He also cooked for her on the day she moved in and especially that pasta was her favorite dish and it was just oh so delicious. But still, she wondered what he thought of her singing if she sounded alright or not. She just wanted to be the best singer ever and live her dream of both becoming a great singer and fire specialist ever. She sat back down and admitted hesitantly, “It may or may not have been the best decision but when I moved out of the house, I was happy but homeless for a while. I didn’t want to be controlled by my parents. I didn’t want to be a having a safe and boring job as an accountant. They had dreams of pursing a bigger career, goals they didn’t even try to reach. I didn’t want to end up just plain and safe,” she paused, “I have dreams, big dreams. I wanted to be around people who are pursuing their own dreams. I want to be known for something, a super-star singer and a fire-type pokemon specialist.” She reached out her hand to the sky, “I want to have that feeling one day that I could just grab onto my dreams and get it—right there and then. Right now, it just seems so far away but I’m still trying and trying. If I stop trying, that means I gave up. I’m never going to stop. If I could finally just grasp onto it, that’ll be the happiest day of my life.” |
