Ven was walking in the plans Nidoran was coming along nicely but needed a few more battles to get him to become a Nidorino, the other Pokémon that was with Ven was his Sandshrew he was also coming along good with evolving. All they needed was a few good battles and they well be golden with Lucario not here to guide them to a trainer Ven would have to be forced to look for a battle the old fashioned way and just come across a trainer randomly. Ven started to think about his Pokémon they were strong and loyal and that’s all he needed but now for his team with Speedy would come from that Ven wondered they were team mates but a real dysfunctional one but they would somehow make it work somehow any way. Ven then laid down on the soft grass and looked up to the sky trying to remember her.

"My pretty little bird." Seta chuckled. Petting his Torchic's soft orange feathers. The baby chicken chirped, standing on Seta's shoulders. "So unlike you Sol, what happened to your mischievous attitude. Hmhmhm at least your behaving now." he told. The Bronzor, Bron floated behind, leering at Sol. It knew the newcomer was trying to steal Seta's attention. The Torchic turned to the floating steel plate and stuck it's tongue out, along with a mischievous chuckle. Bron, using it's psychic power, pushed Sol of of Seta's shoulder.
"Hey you two, try to get along." Seta told. "Bron, you know better than to do that." he said, disappointed in Bron's actions. Surprised eve that Bron would even do something like that. Though there attention wasn't on their trainer but on each other, their eyes glaring at each others in a deadlock. Seta sighed, "Oh boy, this is gonna be hectic. Huh? Is that?" seta said looking ahead, a familiar face made it's appearance. The sight brought a smile to his face. "Ven Hiroshima." he thought walking up to him.
"Nice to see you, Ven." he said in introduction. Bron soon followed giving a nod to the trainer. Finally Sol, who looked at the man in curiosity. "I just come here for training with Sol, but I don't think she can jump right into battle like Bron. So could you help me show her the ropes?" he asked.

Ven was lying on the grass when he heard a voice it sounded familiar, Ven turned to see who it was fallowing that he saw seta. Ven got up with Sandshrew on his lift and Nidoran on his right, as Ven was getting up he hared Seta say that he had just got a Torchick and that he wanted to Ven to show the ropes. Ven looked at Seta and nodded “yeah I’m up for a battle Wardog 3 you’re up.” Nidoran stepped in front of Ven looking at the Torchick ready for battle, “ready when you are Seta by the way what did you think of my Sandshrew last time.” Ven knew that Nidoran hated to fight fire types ever since that battle with Mel and her Cyndaquill well that did not matter what mattered was the battle at hand.

"Alright, thank you very much, Ven." Seta smiled. "Bron, you're up." he told. The steel plate aligning itself in front of it's trainer. Sol gave a glare at the Bronzor, along with it's mischievous grin. "Sol, you stay behind and watch, I just want you to learn the flow of battle right now." the small bird frowned. "Their bickering may be a problem." Seta sighed, "Well I'll let them work their problems out later." Seta knew it just wanted to mess with Bron. It had a way of causing trouble, and in the back of Seta's head, he had a feeling it would get worse before it got any better.
"Now then Sol, just watch how Bron and Ven's pokemon battle, okay?" he finished talking to the Torchic, who gave two nods in understanding. "Alright Ven, I'm all ready. Your Sandshrew?" Seta started pondering, "I can't soften my response nor can I sound overconfident." he told himself. "Ven, your Sandshrew was difficult, it seemed as if you had a back up plan to all of your moves. Though I couldn't help but think you were going easy on me." Seta smiled. "So this time, I want to make sure that you go all out on me, if you hold back it won't do anyone any good. Now then, since you showed me kindness in our first encounter, it is my turn to return your hospitality. Go on ahead Hiroshima."
"Bron on the ready, we don't know what Ven has in store for us this time." Bron made a nodding motion. Sol yawned in boredom, waiting for what it's supposed to be ready. "Whenever you're ready Ven." Seta told putting his glasses on.

Ven saw the Baron tack the field Ven started too thin to himself well then a Pokémon with high defenses ummm lets I’m going to have to poison it and stall and attack it as Meany times as I can Nidoran douse not have all that much power but he can slowly hurt the Pokémon and that’s all I need first off I need to poison him so that would be my first move. “Nidoran use poison sting maybe that well lower that defense of his and then we work on that type problem we have.” Nidoran ran the coin Pokémon shooting poisonous barbs at the coin Pokémon trying to infect it, Ven had to be careful for this could be a short battle if he was not carefull.

"Bron, it's a poison attack!" Seta alerted, his Bronzor keeping itself upright letting the poison needles fall off. Sol watched as the barrage of needles flaked off of Bron's sturdy steel body. "Okay, he's starting off with poison attacks, let's hope it's affiliated with poison attributes." he thought to himself. Sol watched Bron, seeing he wouldn't attack or move in general unless Seta told it to do so. She thought it weird, but continued to watch nevertheless.
"Right, Bron, start up with Extrasensory!" Seta commanded. Bron, following it's trainer's command. It's eyes glowing blue with psychic energy, shooting a psychic shock of energy at Ven's pokemon. if Seta's prediction was right, Ven was using a poison type, meaning Bron's psychic attacks would be especially effective and damaging. Sol watched the quick flash of Bron's eyes along with the quick wave of energy. Wondering what was next, Sol turned to Ven for what he was going to do.

Last time Ven fought a Bronzor was Speedy’s and that was fast he knew he was going to lose Ven sighed, “Seta you have a real strong type advantage how about after this battle that Torchick can show my Phantom what it learned from seeing this battle what you think hey its more training and your Torchick gets real experience.” Ven then looked at the extrasensory Ven knew he could not dodge the attack and it was going to be a sure hit ok fine then “Nidoran go throw it and use fury attack” Ven had nothing to do and he was flat out about it. “Seta you do know you’re going to win but I ask of you to think nothing less of me as a trainer I think you’re a very smart trainer so don’t think any less of me got that.”

Seta nodded at Ven's comment, "Sol, it's up to you, would you like to try and battle?" he asked. The Torchic chirped with excitement at the question. "Obviously a yes. Alright Ven looks like she wants to try." he smiled. Seta watched the Nidoran take the hit, he hoped Ven hadn't given up. When Ven spoke, he clearly hadn't, in fact he was rather profound with his speech. A trait he liked about Mr. Hiroshima. "Ven, that would never be the case with me, sure this time I have an advantage, but that can always change. I applaud your style of battle, truly you are rather intelligent to command your pokemon the way you do. Never would I put demeaning labels on you. On that subject, you have my word, Ven." He replied. He hoped he hadn't hurt Ven. Though those thoughts were quickly hushed, Ven clearly wasn't an emotional person and it was wrong of Seta to call think of him as one.
Caught in his thoughts Seta found out that Bron had taken multiple hits from the Nidoran, though they weren't damaging individually, as the repeated stabs accumulated, they added to a decent amount of damage. With no real need to drag this battle out any longer, Seta had planned for the win. "All right Bron, try and end this. Use Extrasensory once more, and if necessary Confusion after!" he commanded. the Bronzor's eyes flashing blue once more and sending a psychic shock hurdling towards the Nidoran. "Sol be ready, you may be next." he told. sol noticing a difference in Seta's polite and courteous tone, into that of a man at lead. Nevertheless, Sol gave a nod and chirp in understanding.

Ven smiled hearing Seta say that he thought that Ven was a good trainer and commanding his Pokémon worthy of a commander, although now Nidoran was faced with another extrasensory and confusion. Ven had only one move to take and that was to shoe Seta that Nidoran could take a hit, “Nidoran go throw the attacks one more time for one last move use horn drill.” Nidoran although already had taken a massive hit he started to run once more having his horn pointed at the Bronzor the two attacks struck his horn and hurt Nidoran a lot he wanted to faint right then and there but he did not and jumped right at the Bronzor ready to pierce his body. Ven looked at Seta and smiled “well Nidoran ad one more move in him” Ven then looked at Sandshrew “well little guy your up next you got that even though that Pokémon is new at fighting don’t hold back because if you do then the Torchick won’t know what to do or what it feels like to fight an all-out battle.” With that Ven looked back at Seta “well it’s your move buddy.”

"He's going all in, last ditch effort with a one-hit ko." Seta thought to himself. There wasn't much time to act. His Nidoran had already started charging in at Bron. "Bron! Quick, dodge!" Seta commanded. Bron did as commanded, moving away from the powerful attack. Seta was thankful that the one hit ko moves were paired with a terrible accuracy. Also that they were only truly useful against a pokemon of weaker strength. "Now then Bron, shall we end this? Now, use Faint Attack!" Seta ordered. The steel coin following the command, charging in at full force the attack, certain to connect.
Watching, Sol began to chirp and hop even more, excited for it's turn. Though fear was still there, looking at Ven's Nidoran, it looked hurt, and tired. Something Sol didn't want to be. Though she still would. She wasn't going to let Bron take all of her trainer's attention. (horrible post. Terribly sorry.)

Ven saw as Nidoran missed the attack as he landed Nidoran started to walk sideways and fall over knocked out, but then the Bronzor sent out a faint attack coming right at it. Nidoran was down he had to recall him to his pokeball. A red light flashed and over took the fainted Nidoran and took it back in to his ball and the Bronzor hit the ground right after Nidoran was taken in to its ball. Ven looked at Seta and smiled “you took out my sword that’s cool now you’re up agenst the Phantom, Wardog 4 you’re up.” Sandshrew walked up in front of Ven and nodded at the Torchick. Ven looked at Seta “whenever you are ready Seta and you can go first.”

"Nicely done Bron." Seta congratulated. The oxidized mirror, spinning like a coin. Seta signaled it over to his side. "Alright Sol, your up. Just give it your all okay? Everything should go fine." Seta told, giving the chick a smile. The Torchic gave a nod, and ran into the imaginary battle field taking it's position. "Sandshrew is out. Right, I think I remember some of his attacks, we just need to avoid his type advantage attacks." Seta thought giving a nod.
"Alright Sol, let's see how much fire you can bring. We'll start off with an Ember!" Seta ordered. The small bird chirped then reared it's head back, small flames forming in it's beak. Sol then aimed at the Sandshrew, shooting several small fireballs. For it's first attack, it did rather well. "Good job Sol, now watch for any oncoming attacks from Sandshrew." Seta advised. The Torchic not knowing what that meant proceeded to attack instead. Charging after the Sandshrew with a Peck attack. "Sol! That's not what I said!" Seta yelled. Obviously it wanted to do it's own thing. "That mischievous, naughty Torchic." Seta groaned.

Ven saw the Torchick take the field and then Seta ordered it to use ember then it came at Sandshrew that was a big mistake in Ven’s point of view “Ok Phantom lets counter with Sandstorm and sand tomb stop that bird right in its tracks.” Sandshrew rolled up in to a ball and then started to spin the ember hit him but did not really do any real damage so he kept on spinning kicking up dirt and dust and sand making a big sand storm. Fallowing that he kicked the spin in overdrive the sandstorm started to get worse were the Torchick was it was getting real bad to the point that the sand hitting it continuously dealt damage to the Torchick. Ven smiled “well it’s your move Seta”

"Crap. That's just what I wanted to avoid. I just have to roll with it." Seta nodded. Watching as Sandshrew whipped up a sandstorm. "Sol, you can't be careless!" he told, the Torchic still charging at the Sandshrew. "Its whipping got faster... He's using Sand Tomb!" he noticeed, as the sand trapped Sol. The attack showed its effectiveness by the pained expression Sol wore. "Sol! Listen, don't panic. Now, launch a Fire Spin, then use Mirror Move." Seta ordered. The Torchic did as told, launching a vortex of fire to trap the Sandshrew. Then it prepared to use its next move. The Torchic cringed as it was hurt by the sandstorm, and then the sand tomb. "Urgh, If this drags out too long Sol will be in trouble. Though, it might be a chance to test its ability..." a risky strategy, but with the current predicament it was all he could rely on. The Sand buffeted Seta, making him cringe, annoyed at the small pain. Though he kept his eyes on his current battle, worried how his Torchic would fair in its first battle. He wanted no scars on its first engagement.

Ven saw as the fire started to spin around Sandshrew as a vortex of fire consumed Sandshrew, Ven nodded “Sandshrew focus the sand storm around you to extend the Vortex and putting out the fire then use sand tomb once more.” Sandshrew stayed in hiss ball form and started to spin once more creating a sandstorm inside the vortex of flame. As he spun faster the sandstorm put out the flames then he started spin even faster creating another sand tomb around the Torchick. Ven smirked “Seta do you know how one put out a fire without using water or foam they you sand so your fire attacks are usless in the sandstorm but never the less it’s your move.”

"Useless? Now, maybe Hiroshima. But when flames reach a high enough temperature sand becomes glass. And glass shatters easily." he countered, there wasn't much Seta could do, with the sandstorm still raging strong, and the buffed speed of Ven's Sandshrew. Along with the fact Sol was starting to struggle, it's blaze ability starting to activate. Making it's next fire attack powerful. "Give it all you've got, use Flamethrower!" he commanded. Strong flames started to grow in the Torchic's mouth, then it shot a stream of flames the Sandshrew's way. Colliding with the Sandshrew's Sand Tomb. Though it seemed even with Sol's increased fire power it wasn't enough to counter Ven's commands. The sand put out Sol's flames and headed Sol's way, trapping it into submission.
Seta sighed, then took off his glasses. "We've got a lot of work ahead of us Sol. Let's not worry over that now though. Please take a rest." he said returning the baby chick to it's poke-ball. "Thanks again Ven, we should do this again sometime. When we've both gotten better." he said giving a small smirk the man's way before heading in the opposite direction, to rest his weary pokemon. Once again Ven had give. seta a challenging battle, though this time he realized he couldn't put an inexperienced Torchic against Ven's Sandshrew, which he had prior knowledge that it was a force to be reckoned with. "Can't progress without mistakes, this only makes me stronger. Now I just learn from the experience." he thought as he exited.

Ven nodded at seta as the sandstorm died and faded away, “till next time my friend till next time Wardog 4 lets move out.” So after that Ven walked off and smiled with this win Sandshrew was that much closer to evolve that was all Ven wanted in the end. So they both turned and walked the way they came.
