[Team = Kostya (Gengar), Vulcan (Houndour), Oracion (Scyther), Ivy (Snivy), Loki (Shiftry), Snake (Tangela)]
---
"Kostya!"
A male hollered through the echoes of the azure waves lapping the golden sands on the coast as his feet could feel the cool water refreshing his ankles and below as he walked upon it. Hearing his name, the Gengar who had been idly zipping through the wind, going faster and faster as time went on turned around and gave his Trainer a huge grin. For once, the two were rather relaxed and that Kostya had not needed to reprimand his own trainer from training too much.
And since that this was supposedly a day for fun, getting to know a few of the newer members of their ever growing team, the Gengar just allowed himself to split into three copies with the help of Double Team. With a haughty laugh, the floating mass of purple gas began to swirl around in a circular formation before tearing through the wind and headed towards his trainer.
Laz just laughed, actually finding this game fun since it was a good past time and that it helped him see if his intuition still worked well. Standing still and still under the effects of the harmonious cooling water that lapped his feet, the red head awaited for his Gengar who, sooner than later, finally reached its trainer before phasing through the red head.
Chuckling, the red head just turned around to look at the three Gengars that had surrounded him. Picking up a few things, trying to figure out which one of them was real, the red head chose the second one and with a huff, Kostya floated down and crossed his arms. Sulking that Laz got him. The score was at 5-29 with him leading but every time is trainer got it correct, it served as a blow to his pride for not being tricky enough.
Nevertheless, the Gengar cheered up pretty fast as the long time duo once more traversed the coast of the beach and enjoyed the rather sunny weather. Where Laz was only wearing a pair of sandals that helped his feet not get torn up by the possible floatsam that stayed near the coast and whatever sea stuff that could be lurking, he also wore a pair of black and red board shorts that reached only a bit lower than his knees. It had a small belt on it that still had a magnetized property to it as it held five other poke balls.
Only having a plain white shirt being draped over his shoulder, the red head had allowed his body to be hit by the rays of the sun as he tried to enjoy the day as much as he could. He knew his body needed the rest and this was actually a good time. What better weather to go to the beach when it's already sunny outside?
As the time went by, the duo did nothing but walk along, enjoying the peace from the usual hustle and bustle for their conquest to becoming so much greater than they are now. From time to time, the Gengar would lob a few shells towards its trainer who would throw it towards the Gengar to see if he could catch it. Nine times out of ten, Kostya managed to catch it. That one mistake was when Laz decided to troll the ghost and drop it down.
The two shared a laugh with that one either way as a flock of wingulls passed by over head. Raising his right hand to cover his eyes from the sunlight as he looked up, the red head gave a small whistle towards the humming wingulls. When one of them gave him the time of day by cawing its name out, the red head returned a rather jubilant wave.
The clouds had also decided to be rather helpful for the day as they were numerous in number today, creating entire patches of shade on the sandy shores to protect the people who moved over the beach. By the time when this happened, Laz had long noticed that barely any students walked this place. They had probably deemed it too much of a hassle to go this far and the trip wasn't worth it or something. Then again, they weren't Laz and the red head had more or less just wanted some time to himself.
Once they had finally gotten around to a silent area, where even the echoes of the beach began to subside, the duo gave an approving nod of the place as the Teenager moved towards the drier and crustier part of the school. Twirling a ball in between his fingers, Ysal lobbed it over the ground and allowed it to hit the grains.
Opening with a magnificent burst of light, a serpentine whose scales were as green as the forest and a white underbelly, enhanced by what looked like a yellow collar and a rather reminiscent set of red eyes that matched her Trainers hair, as the Snivy proudly huffed and stomped her foot to the ground; already claiming this as part of her kingdom that will soon see fruition upon what she deemed such a deplorable and desolate continent.
Soon enough, the party was over as the red head walked over to her, and without paying attention to her little parade, bent down and softly rubbed the scaly head of the Snivy. As much as Ivy didn't want to rattle at the affectionate display, she couldn't resist as her tail wagged, if even for a bit before returning to her angry and blushing demeanor.
Scuttling through the sands, the Snivy gave its own trainer a rather rude gesture with her tongue before laughing mischievously, for sure a trait she shared with Gold. Gold being the Pichu the teenager had caught along with the Snivy in that incident in the forest.
Having nothing better to do as the Snivy seemed intent on exploring further on, the red head shrugged his shoulders towards his starter who did so as well. Deciding that it was too much of a hassle to think of another idea, the duo just simply followed the excitable Snivy through whatever path she would have taken.

While you and your group of pokemon participate in various activity, there seems to have been a little obnoxious taillow nearby who happened to hear & see everything you've done. Unfortunately for you, this wasnt just a regular taillow. This taillow was one of the taillows that served directly under "him". The little birdie would watch you, taking notes of each of your movements and activity. The little bird was perched perfectly hidden, in the blatant open, on top of a boulder. Finally it let loose a fierce caw. "Taillow!" It cried out, rocketig into the sky.
Minutes later, in the distance you could see a large flock of swellow and taillow, headed your way. Each of them cawing aloud. They seem pretty pissed but havent aimed any attack at you or anyone else just yet. Hopefully they're headed some where else. . .No they're not heading anywhere else. They're aiming straight at you, cawing viciously. If you counted, you'd see ten, bigger than usual swellow coming at you. Each one bursting at you with a combination. They would all multiply themselves into at least 15 swellow, with the use of double team, and swoop in at you with a strong aerial ace!
Summarize:
- Swellow are coming at you!
- They used a combination!
- I apologize for the long wait.

"...God Fucking Damnit. First the Ice Caves, now I'm gonna be hunted down by these fucking Swellows. Five Pokeballs huh? Might as well catch a few."
The red head groaned as everything seemed to stop as he saw the assault of Swellows blare out the clouds as their massive bodies began to swoop around and make themselves known. That caw was already a warning sign and even if at first they didn't look like they were going to attack him, the red head knew more than enough that this was gonna be a bitch of a battle.
Releasing all of his pokemon, all the blinding flashes of light that engulf the field exploded as his entire team appeared. A Mighty Red Houndoom howling with ferocity in his blood as the Scyther that accompanied him began to whizz his scythes in the air, the steel echoing like a harmonic piano, while the Ninja like Shiftry only glared down the opponents with an unending piercing stare towards his opponents. The little mischievious Pichu and the Snivy that had gone forward retreated to the back in hopes of not bothering what would become a sort of death match for all of them.
"Destroy them all! Loki, Sunny Day now! Kostya, Terrorize the Swellows with Dark Pulse! Vulcan, create fire walls with Inferno and burn them to a crisp! Oracion, Vacuum Waves at the Air Strikes to knock them down! Gold, Ivy, stay behind and use stat up moves like there's no tomorrow."
Laz commanded, his voice reaching far and wide as his pokemon had quickly set themselves up for the emminent fight that would be explosive to say the least. As Loki stood at the back, his body shimmering as he used Sunny Day, and upping every fire type move that can be used along with it as he stood there and ignored the danger as he used Growth, knowing that his team mates would be able to handle whatever attacks would come.
Vulcan had more of a fun time as he felt his flame growing so much stronger with the help of the Sunny Day move as he spewed forth his fire. The first Inferno reached far, so far that even the height at where the Swellows were flying could be reached as it obliterated their attacks. Taking in too many of the strikes, the Inferno dissipated due to the atmospheric pressure the attack had.
Kostya came up to plate as Vulcan readied another Inferno to spew forth as he sent a pulse of Darkness, covering him in a circular area as the attack countered some of the Attacks, nulling them from hitting as they were reflected to the sands and away from them.
Again, the great Houndoom spewed another Inferno the moment his partner ducked below to avoid the attack. With Kostya out of the way, the Houndoom was able to destroy more of the remaining attacks while Oracion peppered them with two Vacuum Waves, catching two of the lost attacks from the apprehendors and destroying them.
Once that was over, Kostya rose up again and sent another destructive round of Dark Pulse towards the opponents, whoever was unlucky enough to clump together would be surely hit harder than ever.
Again, with all the other attacks enough to dissipate what the Swellows had unleashed upon them, the red Houndoom screamed into the heavens as he let out another Inferno, burning out his flame sacs as he reached high and aimed at the general direction of the Swelows. All of them flying together so close, the Inferno would at least be able to catch a few of them in its massive blaze.
And speeding past them, the Gengar had used the Inferno as a distraction for his own attacks as he was now directly under the flock and unleashed his final Dark Pulse towards them. With being flanked at two sides and not capapble of flying backwards, the Swellows would have a hard time dodging any of the attacks that had been sent at them.
All the while, the Pichu and Snivy used Coil and Nasty Plot in an effort to help out later.

Destroying the clones they had created, you passed the first wave of cruel birdies, next was the second batch. More caws in the distance could be heard, as you see the "real" swellows flocking away. "Taillow!" Another group of birds swooped in from the air, this time only 5 arrived. Three of them perched on a random boulder. The other two were challenging the tangela and Ivy to a battle. Any interuptions would result in the flocking over of more than an infinite number of swellow & taillow.
Summarize:
- Swellows are replaced by taillows.
- The taillow trio challenged two of your poke pals!
- Lawl. Good luck.

"Hm?"
Laz grunted as after an amazing onslaught of destruction with his pokemon against that monstrous amount of birds that were flying towards him. After that incident though, when the Swellows began flocking and somehow disappearing from view, the red head was about to recall all of his pokemon back but instead watched in curiosity at what the Taillows were going to do now.
When the five of them had appeared, Laz was about to just call on out his Gengar to make easy work for them when two of them bravely stepped forward and pointed at his Tangela and Snivy. Now, Laz wasn't a stupid trainer. He knew that there was going to be a disadvantage due to the typing but he believed that in a fight, typing wasn't everything.
Already having his mind come up with several scenarios and strategies for the battle, the red head went with the reason that not only would it help his pokemon to know what pain felt like and the loss that accompanied it, it would also push the trainer himself to do harder to make up for the glaring disadvantage he was going to start with.
Letting his hand move forward to command his Snivy and the Tangela to go ahead, the two grudgingly followed as fear sank in their bellies about what their trainer was trying to do with them. As such, the Taillows looked eerily similar to the massive flock that had just threatened them with sharp wings and beaks and talons that could rip them to shreds. This in itself was already making the Tangela doubt itself.
Ivy though, tried to keep the brave facade up as she went into the battle after swallowing her fear of enemies. With that done, she readied herself with whatever she could as she wanted to see how strong she really was. Along with the Tangela who tried to boost his own confidence, the two decided to start the fight and made sure that their trainer knew of this via looking at him with a glare that demanded he give them commands now.
Laz smiled as he started off with what seemed to be a basic tactic but with Sunny Day up, would prove useful along in the long run.
"Ivy, use Growth. Snake, spread Poison Powder."
Laz commanded as the two reacted, albeit slower than what he would've wanted. The Snivy went first as she immediately moved back, keeping some distance between the flying pokemon and her as she soaked up the suns rays and increased her Growth's potential as the move itself powered her up by raising both her Attack and Special Attack Stats twice, which was rather helpful as she knew that she would be fighting directly soon.
Thinking that it was a smart idea, forcing the enemies to become weaker by the moment if it worked, Snake began to conjure poison from his tentacles slash vines before aiming at the birds' general direction. With a squeak of his name, the little ball of vines looked to have sneezed the Poison Powder towards them, hoping for it to take effect and greatly hamper the opponents ability to fight.
But as their moves ended, the two were already moving around, towards opposite of the fields even without their trainers orders. Less of it being planned as more of it being from their primal instincts of wanting to survive and win this territorial fight. Or as territorial as this fight could actually get anyway. Regardless, the two swiped through the sandy coast of the area, their feet shifting the sand hazardly as the Tangela brought down heavy steps with his ridiculous red feet as Ivy slithered quick around the ever shifting sand to try and avoid any attacks if the Taillows would suddenly launch them.
Not to mention, she felt confident even if they did as she knew herself that she should be able to attack back with much more force as not only did she use Growth to raise her attack and special attack twice, she had earlier used Coil, which increased her attack, defense and accuracy by at least a stage and impressively increasing her chances of surviving this.
The Tangela though, was not as confident as even if he tried moving around, fear had already gripped at him and he didn't want to lose. He was also trying his best to follow his trainers orders to the limit, knowing that he didn't know how to fight as good as the others and had been neglecting his training...not that he ever attended those meetings so in comparison, he was still pretty weak. Just like a newly caught pokemon.
Nonetheless, even with all their doubts in their heads and hearts and bodies, the two pokemon wanted to win. If not for Laz then for themselves to prove that they were better, that they were stronger than some bunch of stupid birds with crap IQs that can't even do squat except for flying, be annoying and all those pestering things wild pokemon did.

The taillows would become restless while you prep yourself up. They would launch themselves into the air, readying the next attack. Swooping in, they would glow a pure white color from the use of aerial ace. One aiming for tangela, the other at snivy. Unlike the older flock, these guys didnt like illusions! Unfortunately, the would swoop through the poison powder in the process of attacking.
Summarize:
- The two taillow are using aerial ace.
- They got pretty impatient.
- ...Perfect time to throw out a thunder attack

"Slam it down!"
The red head ordered as he raised his left arm, brandishing it to announce that both the Snivy and Tangela had to do it in order for them to be able to survive. As such, the Snivy being in such a predicament did it without preamble. Shifting through the sands to get a firm grip on the floor, a pair of vines began to stretch out from its body as it stayed in the attack area of the Aerial Ace the Taillow had used.
With a heavy heave, the Snivy, compressed with all of its impressive boosted power, went right for the Taillows face with Slam. Being boosted up generously and having more than enough attack power to destroy the Aerial Ace, the Snivy had wished that she'd be able to do more than just knock it off course. If she was given the chance, there was no doubt in her mind that she'd immediately destroy the Taillow.
The Tangela, albeit with fear choking his feet, stood his ground. Less on the actually being brave side of things as he was too afraid to even move out of the way. Having been given his order, the Tangela had no other choice but to obey as he closed his eyes, expecting pain to flood through his body as he threw out the vines towards his opponent.
The Vines were curling together, forming a sort of hammer instead of a whip as the bird and the vines inched nearer to each other. Instead of the attack being a Grass move, Slam in itself was a normal move and would deal normal damage against this bird of an enemy that it was.
With a roar, the Tangela heaved and smacked it towards the Taillow, hoping to cancel out the Aerial Ace. He believed that being boosted up quite generously should've been enough but you never knew and Snake was hoping against Hope that he'd be able to pull it off.
Laz only watched cooly in the background, unminding of his surroundings as some of his pokemon had already kept watch. Loki the Shiftry had deemed it his job to protect their masters back as the dark grass pokemon diligently kept a keen eye on the surroundings.
The flock of Swellows was another thing as the Gengar and Houndoom looked menacingly at them, that they wouldn't be afraid to fight back if it came to it. Their Master was worth so much more than their opponents after all. Oracion the Scyther simply stood there, watching the children go at it and praying for their safety. Taking up his entire pool of will power to make sure that he didn't burst out and just attacked the enemies now and then. It would've been unsightly and he did not need to aggravate the opponents.
Laz though, he was calculating over and over again the several possibilities as he began to include the terrain initsef to create a bigger weapon for their advantage. He knew that there were more than enough logs to be passed through as several of them laid down, dead and rotting by the salty beach. The huge rock that seemed to be oddly sticking out of the sand, probably some sort of perch for birds and the other things one can use to their advantage for a battle.

Both taillows, in sync, would spin out of the way of the incoming attacks. The vines would slam onto the ground, as the snivy landed hard on its ass, having missed miserably. "Taillow." The two birds cried out, launching back into the air. Minutes later they would swoop back down with quick attacks! Each aimed at the two grass types.
Summarize:
- They dodged by averting.
- Both of them came back with quick attacks!
- Im getting sleepy.

"Ivy, Leech Seed!"
Laz commanded his Snivy as she was dusting herself from the ground, already up and wondering what the hell just happened. The opponents were no where to be seen and she was rather disoriented from the untimely and shameful fall. Not that it mattered so long as she won. As such, she frantically looked around, and high above as her eyes narrowed the moment her eyes had caught on her opponent.
The Taillow was rather rash, already aiming at her but she wasn't afraid, not anymore. She knew she could do this! Feeling inside her for that powerful spring of nature that was innate in every grass type, the snake like pokemon blasted seeds towards the Taillow.
Since the Taillow was quickly headed for her, tunnel vision should come into effect. With that, the Snivy was confident that her Leech Seed would take effect.
"Snake, Ancient Power!"
Laz ordered his Tangela then as her Snivy was busy with the taillow. The same situation for the two so it shouldn't be off by too much. The Tangela though, unlike the Snivy, was pretty banged up from the fear and was having trouble concentrating on the fight. Shaking it off though, the mini vine field began to curl together before it summoned its power.
Slowly, rocks from the ground became unlodged as they mysteriously moved around the Tangela, circling him like a barrier as he brought up as much menace as he could and glared at the speeding Taillow. The opponent was going for a straight line and was coming in fast. This attack should hit unless it diverted off course.
With a shout of Tangela, the pokemon launched all the rocks from Ancient Power towards the Taillow. It didn't know though, but Ancient Power was a Rock Type move so against flying types, it should be of some use.

The taillow aiming for snivy was moving too fast to be attacked with little seeds. Due to prior training with older birds of the flock and having trained under the leader directly, the taillow had more tricks up its sleeve than one may think. Swooping in with its quick attack, it rapidly span in a clockwise formation to cut the seeds up. As the spinning stopped, it got back on track, heading straight for the snivy. The other taillow would navigate safe and swiftly through the rocks launched. Speeding up, it would pass quickly but its left and right wing were both smacked on the ends by two of the stones, the bird would continue to have balance and head towards the tangela. The two birds were now much closer, it was sure that evasion wasnt possible a second time.
Summarize:
- Aerial acrobatics!
- Quick attacks still comin'!
- Tumblr is my life <3

"Smack them down!"
The red head ordered as he saw the attacks break down right in front of him. His pokemons respective attacks had managed to connect, and by logic the force that was given into that attack should've dampened the force that was exerted or being exerted upon their opponents attack. Thus, even with a simple and practical move, his pokemon would surely be able to beat them down. Not to mention and stress the fact that Snake had a +2 for both his Attack and Special Attack thanks to Growth while Sunny Day was in effect, as well as Ivy having a +3 to her Attack due to Growth and usage of Coil. And even if it wasn't meant to be calculated in the formula forming in Laz's brain, he did remember that his Snivy also had a +1 to both her Defense and Accuracy, also due to Coil.
As such, whatever outcome may happen, should each attack hit, his pokemon definitely had the advantage over this. And with apparently so little time, neither pokemon had the time to dodge or even think of another attack combination. The Snivy stopped caring and prepped herself up, her face narrowed as she leaned her head down and prepared for a last ditch attack.
Launching herself from the grainy sand, the green Snivy would Tackle the incoming Taillow with a boosted attack. Her head first to inflict the supposed and ideal damage upon the Taillows own skull, she could only hope as to being able to drag the fight down where she could effectively wrap her vines around the opponent while consistently destroying its wings to stop it from flying away and finally let her get a few more hits in.
The Tangela just threw himself without grace nor rhythm at his opponent but he was confident either way. Just like his partner, the Tangela had enough force in him to knock the Taillows attack down while inflicting much more damage against the opponent. As his red feet shifted through the sands, the ball of vines simply aimed to collide on the temple of the incoming bird who's wings should've been weakened by striking at his strengthened Ancient Power just moments ago.
It would be more than unbelievable to just see this frail pokemon be able to withstand so much pressure. Looking like a child as well, the two grass types deducted that their opponents were probably kids as well and have yet to completely become as strong as they could be.
Laz though, he kept his back straight and calculating everything to see what could happen. The possible scenarios were still effective and if there was another need, there was a lot of Zip Areas where both his pokemon could get the advantage if they needed a quick escape. As such, it wasn't needed yet so the red head kept silent about it. He had to cross his fingers though, mentally of course, as he watched the battle rage on.
