I am catching a pokemon(s). I would like a water type a good water type. (Tympole would be awesome...Just sayin )
Solo wandered around the Swamp aimlessly not caring what he ran in to...This just wasn't his time of day. The girl he had fallen for had left him it seemed for another, and that crack would forever remain. His blue eyes lit up with a cold fire at the thought of it all, and a pang shot through his chest, and he figured that is what people meant when they said heartache. Staring at the swamp before him he trudged onwards uncaring of what happened to himself, and he waited to spot something that would be of use to his dream. A dream that was holding the shattered remnants of his psyche together, and even though he knew that he was alone in this world besides his pokemon he trudged on despite the danger that the swamp posed. As of late Solo had become a bit reckless, and was going after challenges that most if not all would deem impossible. The biggest one was defeating Lazarus Ysal...Everyone said that it was impossible, called him dumb, and a dreamer. But he knew that if anyone on the entire island would be able to defeat Lazarus then it would be him.
He had the ambition, and the drive to do so, and while he had fallen behind in his studies that would not slow him down in his ambition. It burned hotter than a Moltres's flame, and more powerful than a Ho-oh's fire. Solo would one day become powerful enough, and when he did he would show them all that he had made his dream come true, and then they would all show him the respect that he so rightfully deserved. He would demolish all of those that tried to stand in the way of him defeating Lazarus, and if they told him that he was foolish then he would be sure to burn them all to the ground. Solo was on the hunt for a water pokemon to complete his team for the moment he needed a six pokemon team in order to go up against Lazarus, and at the moment he only had four pokemon that he could use, and an egg that was going to be hatching soon which would give him five. He knew what pokemon was in the egg, but he needed a water type pokemon to finish his team off. Then he would start his journey towards becoming stronger than Lazarus.

- Mod Post - Let's make this short and sweet. As you went off towards the Swamp, all distraught and unmindful of your surroundings, the ever growing density had soon sprouted over head, destroying the sunlight and covering the place in an unearthly glow as the fumes from the poisonous swamp began to thicken. If you stay here for too long, the chances of being poisoned increases and since you're alone, death may take the time to visit you. As such though, the heels of your feet had created a Rhythm that astounded that of two Poliwags that were somehow surviving through the fog. Maybe they're worth a catch if you can notice them.

Continuing on Solo found it hard to breathe, and realized that the swamp was starting to emanate poisonous gas, and if he stayed here for two long well he could die. But would that be such a bad thing? Shaking those thoughts out of his mind he was no weakling, and he wouldn't act like one. Stopping he looked around for a moment, and out of the corner of his eye he saw two pokemon that looked to be mesmerized by the sound of his feet on the water, and he thought that maybe he could lure them in by making it sound more musical, but the poisonous fog could kill him. Then he realized that these two pokemon didn't seem to be affected by it, and if they were strong enough to resist poison then he wanted them on his team. Only the strong could survive in this world, and if he wanted to be the strongest then he had to have the strongest. So he began tapping his feet in a more rhythmic pattern making the water sound as musical as he could as he pulled the front of his short over his mouth, and nose to allow him to breathe easier.
He had come here looking for a water pokemon, and it wasn't just a coincidence that two of them showed up to him. No the world wanted him to become stronger, and so he would. Plus he had the perfect pokemon to use in this poisonous condition. His Kakuna was part poison, and therefore wouldn't be affected by the noxious gasses of the swamp. So he held a slight edge over the other pokemon if worst came to worst, but he would try to get at least one of them to join his team of its own free will. However if had to battle them then he would, and they would come to his team anyway. One way or the other Solo Rose would have one of those pokemon join his team.

- Mod Post - Sadly enough, where the once enticing tune that the two Poliwags followed began to disappear, they quickly lost interest and back pedaled, leaving you alone to choke in this disastrous poison filled fog. Not to mention that you'd probably have to find a safe spot if you wanted to keep living. Then again, I doubt the carnivorous pokemon around here would mind getting some free food. With no pokemon around you, and the poisonous gas already reaching a much stronger effect on the surroundings, I'd personally say it would be better for you to back track rather than die out here. But who knows, you might be able to find a pretty good pokemon if you're willing to whittle your life away.

The fog was getting worse, and not even his shirt was able to fully protect him from the noxious fumes. The Poliwags went away deeming his music no longer appealing, and he thought for a second that he should probably go with them, but then he looked around, and figured that if they could survive the poison then there had to be other pokemon around that could survive it as well. Figuring that a few more moments in the poisonous area wouldn't harm him to bad he decided to poke around a bit more, a pokeball at the ready containing his Kakuna, Aegis, and he was ready to get a new addition to his team.

The poisonous fog was becoming to much to deal with, and he had to get out not even his shirt was stopping it anymore. He would leave, and go catch his breath then come back later on hoping to find a water type to add to his team. So sprinting out as quickly as he could he breathed in the fresh air, and gave a sigh of relief as he could feel the poisons influence leaving him. [exit]
