Solo had just come back to the academy literally five minutes ago, and he was already bounding towards the Silver Dormitories. He had kind of just upped, and left without any real explanation, and he knew that things were going to be different, but he didn't know just how different they were. His mother had contracted a fatal illness while he was at the academy, and he decided to go home to try, and find some way to help her, but to no avail, and she soon passed on. However her last words to him still rang in his head as he was running to the beach to go meet someone special to him. She had told him "Be happy for me Solo...I just want you to be happy.." she said to him, and as he held her, and felt her heartbeat flutter out, yeah he lost it, but after the funeral he cheered up, and remembered that she wanted him to be happy, and he was going to do just that for her. She was the only person that he had ever cared about as a child, and he would make her last words a reality no matter what. However he probably wouldn't want to tell anyone about it for a while the wounds were still there, and fresh, but he was surviving.
Plus the person he was going to see he would get either one, or two reactions from them. They would either get really mad at him for up, and going like he had, or be super happy to see him, or a combination of both. His sapphire blue eyes were ablaze with fire as he was going to see her for a few reasons. He kind of liked her, and she was the only person he had ever opened up to, and the news he had received came at the worst possible time because he was suppose to go on a date with her. However he had given her the courtesy of a note leaving with her all of his pokemon to show her how much he cared, and trusted her. But he knew that he wouldn't have been able to face her after getting the news he had. That was the second reason he was going to see her was because she had all of his pokemon, and being back at the academy he kind of needed them back. Smiling like a fool he was running full sprint to go see her. He contained an energy that was very unlike him, but it was there nonetheless.
Sliding into the Silver Dorms he walked right up to her dorm room, and he knocked on it a wide grin on his face as he did so. Hopefully she wouldn't be too mad at him, but if she was he would understand, and do everything that he could to make it up to her. She was the only thing that had ever made him want to change his ways for becoming more powerful. Little did he know that by the end of this day he would become a totally different person. His life was going to get a lot more interesting.

"Hai. Doozo!" [/b] A familiar voice rang from inside the dorm room, before the shiny gold doorknob turned and the door creaked open. The door revealed Melody, dressed in a purple kimono, neatly tied by a sapphire bow. In Melody's mouth there was a small needle bound to a purple thread that was sticking out. Anyone with simple deduction skills could tell Melody was working on the kimono itself. "S-Solo."[/b] Melody said, blinking quite rapidly, then closed the door, swiftly opening it again. Realizing that she wasn't seeing things, her throat tied itself into a knot. "Anata ga kaesa reru... you're back." [/b] Melody's lip quivered at the sight, and immediately dropped everything in her hands and mouth. Despite the sudden leave, and everything, Melody couldn't help but embrace Solo. It had been so long before she had seen him. "You... um... you left so abruptly... and you were gone for so long."[/b] Her voice cracked as she said the last sentence. Once the embrace stopped, Melody looked inside her neat dormitory. "Um, w-would you like to come in? It'd be rude of me to uh, leave you standing outside."[/b] As Melody walked inside, she looked at a black belt on her desk, with five Poke balls in it. "I, um, I took care of your Pokemon. They, um, they seem to like me more and more, but I'm still sure they missed you."[/b] Grabbing the belt, she daintily passed it to Solo. "They're yours and belong with you still."[/b] "I'm... very surprised to see you."[/b] Melody said softly. "There were rumors going around that you would never return."[/b][/blockquote][/font]

It didn't take her long to react, first she slammed the door in his face, and then opened it again more than likely thinking him to be a ghost or something of the sort. Then she embraced him, and he returned the favor his cheeks glowing red when their bodies got so close. Offering for him to come inside he smiled lightly, and went in where she tossed him his belt containing all of his pokemon. Strapping it around his waist he smiled it felt good to be back, and to be here in this room with her. She was dressed very lavishly, and he wondered if she was going out, and the thought of her being with someone else sent a knot in his chest, but he untangled it, and kept on smiling at her, and then she started to speak. "I know, and I am so sorry about leaving like that, but when one receives the news that I had gotten well they don't think straight, and I didn't think I would be able to see you before I left...I didn't want you to see me like that." he said to her wondering if she would ever forgive him, and if he would be able to take her on that second date that he owed her.
"I was going to come back, but I had personal matters to take care of, and I just didn't know how long it was going to take me..." he said to her his voice trailing off as he remembered his mom, but he snapped out of it quickly, and he walked up, and hugged Melody tightly like he was never going to let her go. "I am glad that they grew to like you. I knew that I would be able to count on you, and you were the only person here that I would ever trust with my pokemon." he said ending the hug, and then stepping back to smile at her. She was magnificent, and then he realized that she might have other plans, and he should probably leave her alone. He didn't want to be a bother to her, but he found his feet unwilling to move. "I promise you though that I am going to make up for me leaving so suddenly. It was wrong of me, and if you want I think I still owe you a second date that we never got to go on...I went, and scouted out the place, and while I was there I found this..." he said pulling out the Heartscale necklace that he had crafted for her before he left.
Smiling he held it out to her wondering if she would take it, or not. He had been gone for so long she might not like his gift. Maybe her tastes had changed, or something like that.
