Akira was up in the mountains, which seemed like the perfect place to train and try to hunt down a Fighting-type or two. She also noticed that there were quite a few Flying types in the area...but given her Pinsir's weakness to the type, she would hopefully be able to avoid encountering any...at least, not until she managed to find something that could easily deal with one. Even though Fighting was her favorite type, she wasn't so foolish that she thought she'd be able to handle everything with nothing but Fighting-types. As such, she was open to other types, such as Rock and Steel.
But, for now she wanted an actual Fighting-type on her team. Her Pinsir was at her side, and the two of them we already getting along fairly well. Initially, the only reason she picked him was because her only other options were a tiny blue thing that never attacks, and a pink blob with a large tongue...yeah, the choice wasn't hard to make. However, she initial disappoint faded once she studied up on the Bug-type, and she discovered that it learned multiple Fighting moves...it was enough that she was geniunely surprised that he wasn't part Fighting. But, that was then, this is now. For now, she would simply look around and keep an eye out for anything worth catching.

while you begin your little journey through the mountains, you seem to notice some annoying squawking in the near distance. "Spearow!" A cry could be heard from not to far. Flying in a circle rapidly, a spearow could be seen. It appeared to be having fun.
Summary:
- Spearow appeared!
- Its flying around.
- ...I love butterscotch candy <3...Not that thats any of your business...

Akira smiled as she looked to the Spearow, noting that it appeared to be enjoying itself. If she had any other Pokemon besides a Bug-type, she might have considered catching it simply to have something else in her team before she'd be able to collect her dream team. But, at the moment, a bird was kind of the opposite of what she was looking for at the moment, so she left the Spearow alone and continued on.

Continuing your travels, you seem to hear collective sounds. The whistling wind, various trees shaking aroound from the wind, and many other natural sounds would compose a piece of music. Though very odd & something would never sell on iTunes, it was still music indeed. "Ee!" You could see a mankey dancing along. With its eyes closed, it would seem to pay you no mind.
Summary:
- Mankey appeared!
- Its dancing?
- "Hey Joe!"

As Akira spotted the Mankey, her eyes flashed with joy and excitement. This was definitely more like it. And yet, this seemed incredibly odd...it was...dancing? Yes...it was indeed dancing. The only Fighting-type Pokemon she had ever seen dance was Hitmontop and Scrafty. And with Scrafty, it always ended with his "pants" falling down. Either way, Akira was cautious as she approached the Mankey. As a whole, the species was known for, even when seemingly in a good mood, flying into a rage at the drop of a hat. This one probably wasn't any different, so she had to be careful "...hey there...having fun?" Her Pinsir stayed back some, but was ready to strike should the Mankey attack. He wasn't taking any chances.

The mankey would stop and stare at you awkwardly. With intensity it glared with its cold eyes, before running over and grabbing you by the hand. Pulling you towards where it was just a moment ago, the mankey begin to do more dance steps. This time it invited you to dance with it.
Summary:
- Mankey continued dancing!
- The pokemon invited you.
- Sorry, I got quite busy.

Akira was a bit surprised when the Mankey pulled her over to it and started dancing again. As slow as she was, it took her a moment to figure out just what the Mankey wanted, but once she did...well, things got a tad awkward. "W-wait...you...want me to dance?" And she was completely at a loss "...I...I don't know how to...b-besides. I came here to catch a strong Pokemon, so I don't really have the time for this...sorry" She wasn't trying to be mean or insult the Mankey...she simply didn't know what else to say or do.

Dancing its heart out, the monkey pokemon would enjoy itself. Unfortunately having heard the excuses of the girl, it became pissed. "Ooh!" It made noise, attempting to scold the girl. Not wanting to dance offended it already, looking for strong pokemon when it was right there in front of her made it even more pissed and annoyed. "Eek!" It glared at the girl, pointing at her. It seemed to be initiating the challenge.
Summary:
- Mankey got pissed.
- The challenge was initiated.
- woot woot for not even knowing a song and the concert is in ten days.

Akira was pleasantly surprised when the Mankey suddenly got upset and challenged her to a battle. While she genuinely didn't mean to offend it, she was pleased to see it acting more like what she had expected from the species...and, if she was ever having trouble getting it to battle, she knew which buttons she could push to get it into a fighting mood...but first, she'd need to capture it.
"Alright Claw, get ready!" With that simple command, the Pinsir was in front of Akira, ready to battle. With a nod, Akira began the battle. "Claw, begin with a...what was it called?...oh yeah! Vice Grip!" The Pinsir nodded, charging toward the Mankey as it lowered its head. Its two horns opened up and, once close enough, made an attempt to clamp the small Pokemon between its horns. Should he succeed, Akira would then give next command. "Now, use Seismic Toss!" A flash in his eyes, the Pinsir jumped high into the air with the Mankey still in his grip. Then, using his horns, he tossed the Mankey to the ground...unless the Mankey were to either stabilize itself or somehow escape from the Pinsir's grip, it was in for a lot of hurt.
(note: Just to make it clear, the Seismic Toss is only if the Vice Grip lands. If this combo seems too cheap, then feel free to let me know, and I'll edit)

Stomping side to side, the monkey with a pig snout would cry out. "Key!" And other "monkey" noises were made, announcing the battles' start. The pokemon charged at it, its claws were pointed at mankey. Staring at them as they came closer, makey was even more enraged. Instead of dodging, it wanted to be a manly man. "Mank!" It boated, taking the vice grip head on. Being crushed by the grip the monkey like creature would make souinds of struggle and annoyance. Unable to do anything to follow up it would be lept into the air. Unfortunately it was a combo, being swung into the ground.
"Man!" It would slowly return to its feet. It would jump side to side, stomping rapidly with enraged emotion. It was not only pissed but now provoked. It cried out a loud screech attack! Covering your ears was best to avoid the terrible sounds. Following that up, the monkey ran at the pinsir with its hands in position for its next attack. "Eee!" It screamed, using cross chop!
Summary:
- Mankey was hit!
- Mankey is hitting!
- PedoBear is real!

Both Akira and her Pinsir cringed as the Mankey let out the loud screech, and the Pinsir was too slow to avoid the powerful Fighting-type move that the Mankey followed up with. Luckily, however, Bug-types had as resistance to Fighting-type moves, so the move was only half as effective as it normally would have been. Akira nodded "Great job! Now counter it with Brick Break!" The Pinsir nodded, raising a single clawed hand up, then attempting to bring it down on the Mankey in a powerful chop.

"Mank!" The monkey would cheer with a sense of "manliness-ness" after seeing its attack strike. Though it was weakened because of darn typing, the pokemon didnt care nor did it really notice. "Mank!" It would stomp, ready for the next attack. A sudden strike would reply, knocking it back quite a bit. The brick break had hit and made the mankey slightly weaker. "EEE!" It would slowly return to fighting stance and give a fierce battle cry. Charging forward, it would use another cross chop!
Summary:
- You hit it!
- Its coming back
- Been busy as of late.
