Autumn Lugria
Time can never mend
The careless whispers of a good friend
To the heart and mind
Ignorance is kind
And there's no comfort in the truth
Pain is all you'll find
Time can never mend
The careless whispers of a good friend
To the heart and mind
Ignorance is kind
And there's no comfort in the truth
Pain is all you'll find
Just Some Basics
Name: Autumn Lugria
Age: 17
Appearance:
Autumn's most prominent physical attribute is her flaming red hair. It's very long, reaching down to her waist, and is a bright red. She always keeps it well groomed and looking as perfect as she can get it. She's also pretty tall for a girl, standing at 5'9" in height. Her legs are long, and she has a curvy figure, with a large bust. She always stands with perfect posture, believing slouching to be a weakness. She has a pretty face, but it tends to have a cold and indifferent expression on it. It's been a long time since anyone has seen her smile. She has Heterochromia too, her left eye being blue, and her right is black. She has a tendency to glare at people with the black one, putting them to her right, or looking over her right shoulder. Every part of her is groomed properly and looking her best, from her hair to her well manicured nails.
Autumn's clothing choices are always upper class. Her clothing is always clean and properly pressed so that she looks her best at all times. She even makes sure to sit nicely and perfectly so her clothing doesn't wrinkle. Her clothing basically works like a uniform for first class life. It must be expensive, fashionable, taken care of, and clean. Mistreatment is a crime. Autumn treats looking bad as a crime. Finally, she also has glasses for reading.Who am I?
Personality:
When first meeting Autumn, one would find her to seem very cold. She tends to block people out unless they're directly interacting with her. Her face is expressionless, and uncaring. She ignores anyone watching her as if they're not even there. If someone does attempt to interact with her, they will most likely be met with a short, rude, response telling them to get lost in some way or another. She volunteers speech to people only when she has to. Her voice usually carries a dangerous tone, like her words are a threat. She works very hard at keeping people at a distance. She doesn't like people near her, emotionally and physically. They've only ever hurt her in the past, and she keeps a hard defense. Autumn tends to become irritated when people try to make small or "unimportant" chatter with her, and she dislikes crowds. She also doesn't like to be touched. Person to person contact in any form is considered too intimate to Autumn and she flips.
Autumn is also very arrogant. She's very smart and her successes have given her the opinion that she's better then everyone else. Her general dislike of people also contributes to this. When you think everyone but yourself is a cruel idiot that only thinks of his/herself, then your view point of yourself will be superior to them. The problem though, is that this is confidence is not self assured. It comes from how everyone sees her. She works very hard at her image and keeping opinions of herself high, in terms of talent. Intimidating in terms of personality. She hates looking bad in front of people and can become embarrassed easily. She can also become angry when people speak ill of her skill. However there is an exception to that if she completely disrespects the person.
Now while Autumn may seem like a cruel, cold-hearted, bitch, she's actually not. She actually does have a great deal of compassion. Despite her apparent dislike of people, she would have difficulty turning away from one in need. Extreme need, that is - minor help is easily ignored. But important things, like bodily harm, would be hard to ignore. She hates gratitude though, and ignores it. She doesn't even like admitting she's helping someone, and will either brush things off, or come up with some excuse to explain it away. She may even insult the person she helps, just to make sure they continue to keep their distance. Because she isn't a soulless lump of human stone and can actually feel things, the reality is she's pretty lonely. She convinces herself she's not of course, but it is there.
Also contrary to her placed persona, is her 'behind closed doors' life. Her tough exterior belays the everyday girl within. For example, Autumn loves shopping. She likes to look around at all the new things shops have put out, and maybe some old, try things on, and purchase new, cute, outfits. She also loves cute things, and has a fair collection of stuffed animals. Most of it's back home, but she did bring some with her to the academy. Most of all, she loves bunnies. Bunnies are her absolute favorite. She can't help but get worked up when she sees a cute little bunny, whether real or toy. Most of her bedroom things are bunny themed (which is one of the reasons no one is allowed in there). Her favorite colour is red, and along with the bunnies, her room has that colour emphasized. Her outfits usually involve some shade of red in them. As for food, her favorite is burgers. Not even her parents know that, the only person who ever knew this being Richard. But she could eat several in one sitting because she loves them so much. Autumn also has a sweet tooth and a weak spot for chocolate. Especially when they're expensive and delicious. But eating some nice milk chocolate is a good way for her to get in a better mood.
On the opposite side of things, there are two things that Autumn is very afraid of. She's pretty brave with most things, but somethings just get to her. First and foremost is thunder and lightning. When Autumn was a child, she was struck by lightning. She was extremely lucky and survived the incident, though ended up with a case of Post-traumatic stress disorder. Because of what happened, she became very afraid of thunder and lightning. Though unable to really recall what happened, hearing and/or seeing these things causes her to be struck by fear. During lightning storms, she has a tendency to stay in her room, lay on her bed, and cuddle her stuffed toys. The second thing she's afraid of, to a lesser degree, is the dark. She finds it very uncomfortable. She hates losing her ability to see and always feels like something is out of sight watching her. It was a fear she had always had since childhood, and never learned to cope with. Because of it, she has a night light in her room (in the shape of a cute bunny too). What Is Life?
History:
Autumn was born into the very wealthy and powerful Lugria family. She was the youngest of twins by about two minutes, but due to a major mix up on the hospital's part her twin brother went missing and was taken by another family. Because of this, Autumn spent the first part of her life being overshadowed by a search for her brother. She became a bit resentful of the fact that her virtually nonexistent brother was getting more attention then she was. Autumn had everything handed to her, and was very spoiled. Despite having all of this, any time her brother came up she felt like she was being overlooked. She hated that. The only person that gave her full attention was her best friend Richard Helmsley.
Richard was the son of another very wealthy family who were friends with the Lugria's. He was a small and kinda shy boy, but he was always really nice and gave Autumn the attention she wanted. He was picked on, but Autumn was tough and didn't take crap from people. She stood up for him and helped him out of some bad messes. They were a great team and did everything together. Autumn even made silly child comments about them getting married, which their parents thought was cute. Autumn was pretty serious though. The older she got, the more attached to Richard she got.
When she was six, Autumn had a near death experience. She decided to have some fun playing out in a storm, and while out there she was struck by a bolt of lightning. Miraculously, she survived the hit, but was in the hospital for weeks. After that happened, Autumn became very afraid of thunder and lightning. When these things make their presence known on a stormy day, she usually cowers in her bedroom, refusing to leave, and cuddling her stuffed bunnies. Or sometimes Richard, if he was available to visit her at this time. Just him though, no one else could calm her.
Richard was pretty much her only friend in school. Autumn was never much of a social butterfly. She deemed most people not good enough to talk to her and was mostly bitchy to everyone. She preferred to be left alone, or to just be with Richard. As they got older, Autumn's feelings continued to grow. Also, her with her by his side, helping him and giving him words of encouragement, Richard began to get more confident in himself. He started standing up for himself, and as puberty started kicking in it became really attractive.
When Autumn was twelve, she finally confessed her feelings to Richard. And found he felt the same about her. The two began a relationship, and Autumn couldn't remember being happier. She was beginning a beautiful love with her childhood friend. It was like the perfect story of romance. It was something she could tell her daughter about one day and give her her own dreams of a beautiful romance. Things couldn't have been better in her mind. They were perfect. Absolutely perfect.
It wouldn't last.
After only four months, things went south. Hard and fast. Autumn was still living in her perfect little happy world believing everything was perfectly fine, when it wasn't. The problem was that Richard never loved her. Not like she did. He thought she was fun and a good friend, but that was about it. And with his new found ego, he was starting to get the attention of many other girls too. He ended up cheating on Autumn with not one, but three other girls while they were together. It was at this time that Autumn caught him talking to his current 'mistress'. He finally came clean, and seemed more relieved then actually sorry or upset that things were out in the open. This event crushed Autumn. Her perfect little world came crashing down around her. She couldn't believe Richard could do that, and even less so that he could do it with such nonchalance. After all the time they'd spent with each other, all the times she helped him, considering how close they had always been, and he treated her like trash. Something to be used and tossed aside.
This closed off Autumn from people even more then she had been before. She didn't trust anybody now and just became a recluse. Her tough demeanor didn't leave her though, and her lack of being social in high school plus her reputation actually made people afraid of her. She tended to ignore everyone as if they weren't there, unless they were in her way. At which point they'd be met with the coldest glare they ever saw and it tended to scare the shit out of people. Like she was some sort of sociopath that was ready to murder them all. The few times people actually got in her face and attempted to challenge her, she became violent. These cases were under provocation, but it still amplified her reputation. Especially considering she always won.
Autumn, with nothing else to do with her time, focused on her studies. She excelled with this focus and was top of her class. She even graduated a bit early with honors. At this point, Autumn decided to try something new. She furthered her studies by diving into the world of Pokémon. Autumn enrolled in the Pokémon Academy to further her education in the subject. Pokémon trainers tended to be held with high regard in the world, if they were skilled. Autumn intended to become the best and was going to do things right. Which was where the school came in. After being accepted (which was easy to make happen when you were of vast wealth) Autumn packed her bags and headed off for the island.Top Of The Class
