Rules for Breeding As rules tend to go, these are subject to change. With these rules, breeding is now open to trainers.
-A pokemon may not produce an egg more than once a month.
- Pokemon have to have been shown as interested in each other ICly, can include the breeding thread, but there should be pre-breeding thread proof of it
- Personality can be chosen by the owner of the egg, ability and gender will be randomly selected by the breeding mod.
-It takes at least 4 threads with an egg for it to hatch, and one more thread per extra egg move.
Egg Moves -Eggs can inherit all the learn-by-breeding moves from the father.
If you want the hatchling to have more egg moves, follow the basic chart: 4 Mandatory Threads= Baby has 1 Egg Move 4 Mandatory Threads + 1 Extra= Baby has 2 Egg Moves 4 Mandatory Threads + 2 Extra= Baby has 3 Egg Moves and so on and so forth until the amount of learned-by-breeding moves from the father is reached
To see what egg moves are available from your pairing: 1. Go to Bulbapedia. 2. Go to the species of the pokemon's page. 3. Scroll down to Learn-by-Breeding section. 4. Look at all the moves that have the father listed next to them. These are your possible moves.
