Carol was walking the halls like a zombie. Her pace was slow and her facial expression was blank. She was still trying to figure out what happened. First she was attending her everyday school life when her mother told her she’s changing schools because she liked Pokémon. She thought about for a minute until she actually realized what happened. A sheepish smile broadened across her face as she twirled on her toes.
“Oh my god! Mom sent me to a school for Pokémon trainers! I am so excited!”
Carols thoughts were quickly followed by a peppy chuckle. Her eyes darted around the room in excitement, taking in all of her surroundings. Then she noticed a large set of automatic double doors. Her smile seemed to get even wider, (if possible) and her cheeks turned a rosy red.
“I’m going to go get my first Pokémon!”
She skipped towards the door singing under her breath.
“Pokémon, Pokémon, Poke-Poke, Pokémon!

"That...was a nice nap. Time to get back to...damnit another student."
Tao was carefree today and decided to take a nap in the middle of the day and probably go read a book or something. Thing was, there was this kid, girl. A Gid or something standing there in the hall way, talking about pokemon.
Now Tao had two choices, he either fail the girl then and there cause it was bothersome or try not to be like Yin and give others a chance. Damnit. Tao procured a few pokeballs from the nearest tray and walked up to the girl.
"Go on ahead. Pick a Pokemon, don't open it, then follow me. We'll be conducting your test."

Carol smiled sweetly as a tall good looking male entered the room, although, he didn’t seem to be in the best of moods. Carol didn’t really know why but she was just happy to use a Pokémon. Carol was told to pick a Pokémon and follow him outside. She nodded gently.
“Alright I’ll take this one! I can’t wait to be examined. Please don’t hold back!”
Carol was hoping he wouldn’t be expecting much from her, she didn’t think she was very good even with all her study. She grabbed one of the poke balls and followed the examiner out.

That was a long walk outside the Lab. Well, full obstacle course and all.
"Alright, go stand in that corner over there. Yes, that really dark secluded corner over there." Tao pointed over the very dark corner, near four doors that had a code to them.
"If I remember right, the pokemon you have with you is a Ponyta." Tao pointed over at poke ball then around the room. Where suddenly it was just a few blocks and stuff, now it was a bloody obstacle course filled with jumps and water tanks. Oh yea, they were hidden by huge ass blankets. Rule of the Universe.
"All you have to do is ride her across the Obstacle course, trying not to fall off. Water pokemon will also be appearing randomly trying to knock you down. She's Fast But This Is Gonna Be Hard. Good Luck. And before I forget, here's an index card that has 5 of her moves."
With that, Tao set off to go stand on a chair with a Video Camera on record.

The walk was long, but surprisingly refreshing. However the whole walk left Carol bamboozled. She thought she would have a Pokémon battle but it was clearly an obstacle course. Carol felt somewhat revealed. She studied Pokémon a lot but had no battle experience. Maybe this could serve as an advantage to her. She shrugged; she was actually hoping to see an experienced Pokémon trainer in action.
Carol skipped towards the dark secluded corner. There were four doors each with a confusing code which Carol couldn’t understand at first glance. The instructor pointed to her poke ball and Carol tapped the center button releasing a flaming horse Pokémon. The horse rubbed its hoof across the floor and shook its head to show off its beautiful mane. Carol’s mouth widened as she was certainly impressed. She never saw a real life Pokémon before! She was already excited. Then the instructor pointed around the obstacle course. It wasn’t much, just a few blocks and other materials. Carol felt at ease but still couldn’t hide the growing feeling she was going to mess up. The feeling grew larger when the obstacle course appeared to be filled with jumps and water tanks, and it didn’t get much better from there.
Carol was just informed that she had to ride across the obstacle course WITHOUT falling off, as well as that water Pokémon, most likely of high levels, will appear to throw her off course. Carol gulped before taking the index card handed to her, she glanced over the move list to think of uses. They weren’t brilliant but she could make use of most of them. Flame Wheel could be used to counteract water attacks and create steam, however the water attacks were most likely much stronger and would douse the flames being weakened only a small bit, if any. It could only be used as an emergency and at an early point. Growl will weaken attacks but will also stall the Pokémon. Stomp could be used if she needed a sudden stop. Tackle could be used if needed to move just a tiny bit further. However tail whip Carol could think of nothing. 4 moves might be enough to work with though. Carol could only hope for the best. The instructor set off to go stand on a chair with a video camera? Oh dear…
“Please don’t expect too much sir. I wish not to disappoint you.”
Carol gently rubbed the fire Pokémon, staying clear of her flames.
“Ponyta I have to ride you”
Ponyta quickly shook its head and stepped away. Carol quickly chased after it.
“Wait Wait Wait Wait!!!”
The ponyta slowly came to a halt and Carol continued to gently rub it.
“I really need your help on this ponyta, together I know we can finish this obstacle course! Please…”
Ponyta didn’t respond. Carol assumed it was safe to get on. Slowly but surely she leaped over and onto the horse Pokémon. The ponyta called out and moved around in a tantrum. Carol closed her eyes tightly and held on as tight as humanly possible, before she realized she was probably hurting the horse and loosened her grip. The horse slowly came to a halt as it became more comfortable.
“Alright, let’s get started ponyta.”
The ponyta rubbed her front left hoof across the floor several times before instantly trotting off. Carol kept an easy grasp on ponyta while gracefully trotting across the obstacle course.
“Excellent job ponyta let’s do this!”

"UNLEASH THE KRAKENS!"
Tao shouted maniacally, pressing a few codes into his remote control. One could hear several locks being unlocked as the first of the four doors opened. Several Tentacruels sped out and positioned themselves around the course. Trying to find key positions on where to make it impossible to make the girl fall off.
The four Tentacruels each gave out different attacks, Hydro Pump, Acid Spray, Toxic Spikes and Sludge Wave in that order.
"Try not to die!"

“UNLEASH THE KRAKENS!”
Caroline looked around the obstacle map as soon as the instructor manically shouted and impaled his fingers against the buttons on the remote. Tentacruels burst out from beneath the water. Each Tentacruel fired an attack a pump of water, a spray of acid, a wave of sludge, and a spike of toxic.
“Try not to die”
The instructor spoke casually. Carol saw the attacks and let out an immediate “EEP!” For carol it was as if everything moved slowly, basically like a scene from the matrix. She saw everything heading her way and clenched her eyes. Without really thinking she called out a random sequence of moves.
“Ponyta Stomp!"
The ponyta stomped its foot to the floor and came to a sudden halt. The attacks flew towards ponyta.
"jump back!"
Ponyta leaped back several times to alow the attacks to hit the floor infront of her. She lost a bit of ground. However ponyta couldn't continuously jump and landed on its but. Fortunately the ponyta didn't fall into the water, however carol almost did. Ponyta leaned the opposite direction as if to pull Carol, and carol managed to recover. Half way through recovery Carol cried out.
"Ponyta growl!"
Ponyta let out a long shrill growl to halt the pokemon and give them more recovery. If it wasnt for growl they would easily of been defeated. Ponyta quickly stood back up and dashed onwards, leaping over the spills and spikes from previous attacks.
