Saire Bellum, to be frank, was not thrilled to be there. Carefully stalking the halls of the Academy after the ship dropped her onto the island Saire could think of a number of places she'd rather be. Most of which involved her hometown of Chicole and pile of comic books.
But, that wasn't really an option right now? Straightening the brown page boy hat, Saire approached the smooth glass doors of the Laboratory. They had informed her and the rest of the group that they were to head their immediately for placement. Black Dorm was, as one could assume the lowest of the low. (Unless of course you were counting the lowlifes and hooligans of the Red Dorm, but Saire didn't), next you had Yellow, then Silver and finally Diamond. But nobody was ever placed directly into Diamond, you had to earn Diamond rank, or something of that effect. Saire had found it hard to concentrate on the voyage, despite the unceremonious way she'd been dropped off at the port and informed of her change in schooling, the whole thing didn't really phase her, it was more mildly inconvenient than anything else, but the girl knew she'd adjust with time.
Entering the Lab, Saire looked around for a receptionist or the tester of some sort. She'd be getting her first pokemon that day, and meeting some of the staff. Standing there quietly Saire ran over her options. The teen could always chalk up the lack of staff as omen that shes not cut out for training and make a break for it. Or she could simply stand there and hope they ran out of testers for the day. All of this was incredibly unlikely of course. They had plenty of testers and probably expecting her along with the other gushing kids behind her, some as young as eleven.
All of them, save herself very eager to get their first Pokemon and go off on their adventure. Saire on the other hand seemed more bored than anything else.
She made no noise for a moment, waiting patiently before finally a quiet "Hello?" broke the silence in the expansive white room. Might as well get this over with.
