Gazing out the window of the monorail she was in, Sephira had a difficult time not worrying about the up coming test she would have to take. Of course, she knew what the exam was about and she had been informed on where it would take place, yet, she just couldn't shake off that feeling of anxiety that seemed to be consuming her.
I really hope I'll do alright, she thought to herself, trying hard not to be overly pessimistic.
As Sephira took her eyes away from the cloudy grey sky, she glanced over the compartment that she was sitting in. There, she realized that most, if not all the passengers, were about her age. It then made her speculate that perhaps those people were also students who were attending the same Academy as she was. Upon thinking this, she let out sigh of relief and began to feel a little bit more at ease with what was to come her way.
The reason why she felt so anxious about her new life as a student was mainly because she wanted her family to feel proud of her. Also, she certainly did not want to see all the money that had been put aside by her parents simply go to waste. After a while of being idle, she looked at her watch and noticed that the monorail was only about ten minutes away from the Academy.
Oh God! No more time left to panic gotta focus now! Sephira then put her hands to her face, attempting to remain calm.
"Attention! Our arrival at the Pokemon Academy is imminent! Please gather your belongings," the announcer said over the loud speaker. Sephira then breathed in deeply, and started to gather the numerous bags she had brought with her.
The first thing she noticed when she set foot on the island, was that the clouds had dissipated and that the weather was now warm and sunny.
Boy does it feel good! Indeed, she enjoyed the sun hitting her face, especially when she had just gotten off a monorail, and was stressing about taking a placement test. The second thing Sephira noticed was that many of the passengers she had shared a ride with were apparently students too.
"What a relief! I'm not the only one here," she said to herself, stretching out her limbs. A few moments later, the group of new students started to head off toward the Academy, which was located a few minutes away from the area they currently were in. Soon after, Sephira arrived at the gates of the Academy, where she was greeted by what appeared to be a staff member. He then proceeded to lead her to the laboratory, where her decisive examination would take place. She stood in front of the facility, unsure of what to do next. Should she enter? Should she meditate a few more minutes? Forcing herself to move, she grasped the metal handle of the door leading to the examination room and forced it open.
"Hello?" she inquired, shyly stepping in. What she saw was quite strange: the lab didn't look like a scientific research building, instead it looked like a normal examination center.
"I'm here to take the exam!"
