Name: Sheldon Hofstadter
Age: 27
Appearance: See picture.
Sheldon is a small man, standing under 5'10. He is not an intimidating looking man, but he often uses that to his advantage. His light brown hair is often left in a bit of a mess. Clothing wise, Sheldon often wears more 'fancy' styled clothing, alternating colours between days, though he prefers his red jacket most of all.
Personality: Sheldon is a very calm man, often not getting worked up by much. The only thing that overly irritates him is when others bring up his past, something he'd prefer to put behind him. He is a brilliant man when it comes to technology, often having anything new before it comes out, always wanting to stay ahead of the game. Despite his past, he's actually a nice and sincere guy, although he will defend any of his beliefs with undying stubbornness.
History: Sheldon grew up in Goldenrod City, where he quickly gained a love for technology. As he grew, he befriended a Voltorb that he ended up catching soon after meeting it. He taught it and used it for everything he needed. Whether it was to help out his computers and electronics, or with bullies, or anything in between, it never left his side.
As Sheldon got older, he attempted to find work, but even with all his credentials (getting done University by the time he was 20) he found no work. This caused him to start working from home. From here, he often explored and tinkered with many old scientific labs he found around the country. It was during one of these scurries into a long forgotten lab that he met Skitter, his, now, Raticate. He initially strongly disliked the Pokemon, as he had known the pokemon to often shew the wires in labs. Luckily, he grew attached to his Ratatta as is would constantly chase other Ratatta's away, protecting his work.
As time went on, and Sheldon kept travelling, he eventually found and captured a Grimer, one that would be examined many times by many different types of equipment. Luckily, it didn't seem to be mind, often being what helped Sheldon find old testing equipment.
It was on a trip to an old abandoned lab in Hoenn where he captured his Castform, but also where he ran into trouble with the law. The company that had owned the building had found out through old security cameras and alarms that someone, Sheldon, had gotten in. Originally not going to do anything about the one person looking around, they took interest when they noticed him capture the very scientifically rare Castform in their building, and started activating old equipment. Wanting the rare Pokemon, and any data Sheldon had found, they accused him of Breaking and Entering and stealing their property. Other companies that had noticed his snooping before too finally decided to act, and followed suit. It was at this point, with many people looking down at him that he was offered his job at the Academy. He would hand over any and all data to each respective company and serve as the Technological Teacher at the Pokemon Academy as punishment. Finding it not to be too horrible of a punishment, the latter part at least, he accepted, though people who know his name will now know him for what he was charged with by many companies.

Sample Teacher RP: Sheldon's eyes shifted back and forth quickly. The new teacher was obviously nervous. This was a big deal for him, and he didn't want to screw it up. Plus, he was, in some peoples eyes, a criminal. He was half nervous about teaching, while the other half was nervous someone would scold him for his past. He wasn't a criminal though. All the buildings had long been abandoned by those who apparently owned them. The only thing that made them want them was that Sheldon was able to compile so much information from them.
He kept nervously looking around, eventually finding his assigned classroom. Looking at the door up and down, he quickly opened it and shut it, basically secluding himself in the darkened room. "This is better...dark...no ones here...Good, for now" he muttered to himself. His hand felt around for the lightswitched and eventually flicked it on, to reveal that Zaps had sneaked out of its ball to greet Sheldon.
"Nice to see you too, Zaps...what do you think? Much better than all those dusty old labs, yes? Less...snooping and the such, right? I like it" he stated, talking with the ball that nodded back happily. Finding his desk, his eyes narrowed at the room. "Too bad this room is so...not up to date. Maybe I can ask the school for more funds...bah, how about I get settled in first. Tomorrow..Tomorrow I shall ask them for more funding...Honestly, this would be a pretty stupid tech class if there was nothing technical in it" he said, mostly muttering to himself, but half speaking to Zaps as well. The Pokemon simply nodded and rolled around, getting a feel for the new place.
Prisoner B is a nice guy.
