Pokemon-based Travel
Methods a trainer may use their Pokemon to travel, if the Pokemon is realistically capable of supporting the human doing includes walking, swimming, floating/levitating, flying and teleportation.
Teleportation has a range limit dictated by their power/skill level, for example a newborn Abra cannot simply teleport itself and it's trainer across the whole island.
Flight is limited to Pokemon that can actually support their trainer realistically, Pidgey's cannot be used for flight. Height limits apply in that you can't get to the upper atmosphere and both.... survive. Similarly, you can only swim underwater via your Pokemon to a certain depth without special equipment.
Being able to fly, dive or teleport with your Pokemon does not equate to knowing the HM move; no HM moves can be used in battle unless the HM itself has been discovered.
Moves like Waterfall, that are learned via HM, but capable of being learned via Leveling Up (i.e. Goldeen Family) are allowed to be used in battle.
Also, since pokemon size is quite ambiguous, please be logical when you do try to use pokemon for Transportation.

These Rules are still subject to change.

Well. Should we just compose a list of the pokemon that make sense to be ridden on ? If anything needs to be discussed, please feel free to mention it. Subject to change. Rules of Mount: - Pokemon must be logically able to be mounted.
- Just because nintendo logic says that a ryhorn can surf, doesnt mean it can at PA.
- Do not get upset & annoy the staff about your pokemon not being on the list. This list may change or be removed at any given time.
- Be logical. Though some of these pokemon are only so tall according to the pokedex, in actuality the birds most likely can be ridden.

Its more of a size varies. At least thats how I look at it. In quite the number of occasions people have ridden a pidgeot. One that I can remember is in the pokemon movie. (the one of mew v mewtwo) There was a trainer who rode his pigeot.
