Kenso randomly found himself in the Gravity Cave today. He had heard the the gravity shifted in here, and wanted to make sure of it himself. Indeed it was. All of his exploring had led him to the C-Block of the Cave, where everything was a bit heavier. None of his Pokemon were released, and he was kind of glad about it now.
"I sure hope I can find my way out of this place," Kenso said. He stumbled over a hidden rock, but managed to gain his balance before smashing tot he ground.

"Alright, weight's pretty good right about now. Rapture, just stay put alright? Vulcan, and Freiya? I want you two to run laps around the place."
Laz said as he sat on a rather flat sized rock. It was spacious enough for him to get a good seat, which was also next to his rather large Aggron who was busy playing with a new move it learned. Looks like the Steel type was trying to drown part of the depths of the cave with Water from using Surf so much.
His other two pokemon though, had quickly followed orders and ran through the basic drill exercises. Running around was also a good way to pass the time for the two whenever they had too much on their paws. Taking the higher route, the nimble Luxray had quickly jumped off a ledge and pushed down on a nearby stalagmite, launching herself to the west and meeting up with the Houndoom once more before encircling the cavern.

Kenso froze. He had heard footsteps. They didn't sound human though. He was curious to know what it was. So, he did what every "smart" explorer did, and walked that way. The direction of his doom.
After walking down some scary looking caverns, stepping in huge holes, and being attacked by Zubats in the darkness, Kenso finally came upon the source. He saw the back of someone's head. He didn't know who it was, but he had a genius way of finding out who it was. He snuck up behind them and stood there in silence, in hopes they would notice him.

"Sure, there's a hulking Aggron next to me but seriously, you make as much noise as he does."
Laz commented, without even turning around as his Aggron had already noticed the other person in the room. Deeming that he wasn't a threat, more or less a danger, the hulk of steel simply did what he did best and practiced his moves.
Laz's pokemon were already running back towards him, deeming the maneuverability enough that they can run how they wanted to. All they really needed was their trainers permission and off they go to enjoy themselves.
Though, since there was another person, Freiya had suddenly started sparking her fur, Vulcan only keeping a silent gaze on the person behind his trainer.

"I'm just glad to see that I'm not the only one down here. I was kind of nervous. I didn't wanna die in here, y'know?" Kenso said. D'ah well, at least he had tried.
His eyes ran over all the Pokemon around the Trainer. They were all so strong and fully-evolved. They were miraculous, to say the least. This guy was obviously a king of all kings. "I'm guessing these are all yours? They're all gorgeous," Kenso said.

"Yeah, they are."
Laz answered as he stood up from the rock he was sitting on, calming his pokemon down, the red head trainer turned around to acknowledge the student who was behind him.
In doing so, he noticed that it was the first time of seeing another student here that looked like he was below the required skill level. "Hm, I take it your new? Relatively at least. What are you doing around these parts? Trainers with similar statures usually stick around the first block."
Laz asked in bewilderment. Depending on the guys answer, his methods of dragging him out may change.

Kenso shrugged. "Eh. You could say that, I guess," he said. He put his hands in his pockets.
"Oh yeah. I should be up closer to the entrance, but where's the fun in being where you're supposed to be, as opposed to being where you're not supposed to be?" Kenso said with a smartass smile.
He extended his hand in greeting. "My name's Kenso. It's nice to meet you."

"Because unless you can back your confidence up, you're just gonna get yourself killed."
Laz answered, a smug AND smart-ass smirk on his face. Somewhere in the world, someone dropped their panties. Laz then sauntered forward, an intimidating gait in his walk as his pokemon stood next to him. Placing themselves just near enough to show how bad ass a real life image can be.
"Name's Laz."
Laz answered back as he prepared for something. This was gonna hurt like usual but he could at least keep standing after the sudden shift happens. Getting his pokeball, Laz returned his Luxray.
Then the gravity changed and everything just became heavier.

Kenso raised an eyebrow as the Luxray was withdrawn. Why the-- BUH-BLAM! Kenso fell to his knees. "WHAT THE FUCK?!" he shouted. He tried to lift himself up, but it felt like someone had placed a lead block on his back.

"That's cute. Bowing and all. No favors though."
Laz answered when the kid fell on his knees. Laz took a wobbly step forward, feeling the massive effects of the shift of gravity in the room. It was harder to move but he's done it before, he can do it again.
Feeling his muscles protest after a few steps, Laz flicked his Luxray's pokeball down and managed to revert the gravity to normal again.
"C'mon, I'll fight you later, when we're near B-Block."
Laz said as he went ahead and walked forward, heading towards a nearer place to the B-Block.

Kenso managed to glare at Laz after his comment.
He heard a Pokeball open, and everything got lighter. He sighed with relief as he stood up. He followed Laz and his Pokemon. "So what the hell just happened? Why did it get heavy all of a sudden?" He felt like a n00b, and he probably should.
[[Fourth Wall is broken HERE!]] Because what Kenso didn't know, was that Laz was viewed as the most powerful Trainer at the Academy. This guy could snap his fingers, and every bone in Kenso's body would be broken. And fun fact? He was Sage's ex. [[Fourth Wall HEALED]]
Kenso admired the Pokemon walking with Laz. It wasn't everyday that he got to see such powerful Pokemon.

"The Gravity Cave is screwy. Everything that's below the B-Block has some anomaly that changes the shifts of gravitational waves when a certain pokemon type appears. Heavier for Steel and Lighter for Electric."
Laz explained as he went on forward, nearing the mouth towards the B-Block for the Gravity Cave. Letting his pokemon out to make a grand blockade, Laz turned around and flipped a pokeball on his hand.
"What do you say to a short battle?"

Kenso sighed. "Freaky cave with gravity shifting. Of course. This school has everything," he said with a >.< face.
He heard Laz speak of a battle. His mood instantly shifted. A battle, eh? "A battle? Sure. Why not?" he said. He reached down and set his hand on his three balls. Yeah. Three of them.

"This guy needs more training so I guess he goes first."
Laz announced as he released his first pokemon. A shaggy looking pokemon appeared. It seemed to have long brown fur that covered its eyes, really strong looking tusks and an air for battle.
It was Laz's Piloswine, Freeze, who decided to go take up the mantle of fighting first.
"Choose your pokemon so we can start with the battle."

Kenso tensed for a second. The Pokemon Laz had chosen was frightening. That wasn't going to bring him down, though. He grabbed a PokeBall off his belt and tossed it in the air.
"Go, Kukky!" he announced. The Krabby landed softly on the ground and clicked its claws together. Kenso extended a welcoming hand to Laz.
"After you, Laz."

"Swine."
Laz ordered as the first turn of the entire battle had began. His Piloswine raring and ready to go and win this. With a massive stomp of his front legs, Freeze looked deep within him and opened his eyes, using an Ancient Power attack towards the Krabby. Several rocks had began to fly after the little crab like pokemon.
Though, the attack didn't end there though. With a sharp intake of breath, the Piloswine had sucked in power before releasing Icy Wind. A chilly breeze of wind that would hurt if said attack hit.
---
Icy Wind automatically decreases the opponents Speed by 1 stage if it hits.

Kenso growled. Krabby wasn't exactly the fastest Pokemon in the world. "Dodge and retaliate with a Bubblebeam!'
The Krabby attempted to scuttle out of the way, but failed. The rocks of AncientPower struck him head-on. As he attempted to get up, the Icy Wind struck him.
Fuck, Kenso thought. Now Krabby was already close to being taken down. Not to mention, he was even slower. The Krabby still had the strength to raise a claw and emit a Bubblebeam, however. Kenso knew the damage wouldn't be much, if any at all.

"Boar."
Laz ordered once more. The Single Word commands he was given, an obvious similarity as they meant a bigger version of the last one. The Swine only had Ancient Power and an Icy Wind. Boar would reflect a similar albeit stronger version of the attack.
The Piloswine stomped once more, sending a barrage of Ancient Power at the bubblebeam, tearing it apart and having enough force to weakly continue on and try to find its target. Then came another Icy Wind came to follow it, freezing things along the path as it soared towards the opponent.
Then Came Ice Shard.
It was like Ancient Power, except these were dangerous pieces of ice that would hurt you. A lot. The coldness emanating from the Piloswine launched itself towards the Krabby, wanting to take it down in case things just screwed over and the first two attacks missed. There was always 'Mammoth' but that would be saved for much stronger opponents.

Kenso flinched. This guy was strong. "Kukky! Dodge and use another Bubblebeam!" Kenso called. It was to no avail, however. Try as he might, poor Kukky couldn't avoid the attacks. He was pummeled, move after move after move. The Krabby collapsed in defeat on the ground.
Kenso pulled the PokeBall off of his belt and returned the Krabby. "You fought wonderfully, Kukky. Rest well," he said. The red beam retracted into the Pokeball.
Kenso looked up at Laz. "You're incredible," he said. He smiled weakly. Defeat stung like a bee, but everyone had to lose from time to time.

"This fight wouldn't be a complete waste so long as we both learned something."
Laz commented, a small disappointed prick on his face as he returned his Piloswine. He was expecting something more from the guy. He thought he could have at least been able to break through a few of his attacks but he got his hopes for them to just fall down.
"Your Krabby would get stronger fast if you train by the Volcano. Rumors are there's this place with a lot of columns, perfect for training a wide array of pokemon."
Laz said, giving a small hint on where it'd be nice to get some more hands on experience for these things. Saluting the guy with a small wave, the red head had turned his back and proceeded to venture back towards the deeper parts of the cave, eager to get some more training done.
