POKEBALL CRAFTING CLASS
At last, a class that lets you create and show off your own customization on the balls that hold your dear pokemon so close. This is the ultimate culmination of creative expression and perfect for those egotist that just want to show off. Come and create the perfect expression for your team of friends as Chi walks you through how it’s done.
TIME
All pokeballs will require a thread of production. This means you must type up a thread or post if solo of you actively making the pokeball. This can be done with help (and is actually encouraged to be done with help) and the length depends entirely on the skill the character has in crafting as well as the type of customization. A simple engraving of a name in standard letters would be nearly free whereas creating a pokeball out of solid cold with emerald dusting and a ruby for a button while having the band around the center be platinum and glistening with little streams of patterns in the shapes of stylized Dragonair on top of an engraving of elegant gyarados (possibly getting too detailed) would take a fair deal longer.
MATERIALS
All but the most basic of materials for making a pokeball must be obtained through a staff controlled mission. This mission can be 1 or several threads with varying degrees of difficulty dependant on the item wished. Simple things such as iron would require a basic thread of mining or purchasing while rarer things such as gold will take possibly several threads and attempts.
MATERIAL AMOUNTS
Now, not everything will take the exact same amount of material to create. To coat a pokeball in gold may only require a single nugget. Taking that gold and attempting to make a pokeball out of nothing but it would require a fair deal more. Again, this would be monitored by staff and Chi to make sure things stay fair. Also, use your imagination and do a little research and you may find ways around this. (Study alloys)
POKEBALL CORE
This basic item is required for all pokeballs and is simple to acquire. It can be made by hand but is very difficult to do. It would be much easier to break an existing pokeball for its core. (Note, you can take the core from any pokeball (sans master) and use it at same strength.) To create a core by hand requires a mastery of the skill and basic materials. (Yet to be listed)
CUSTOM POKEBALL DESIGN
Now, this is for those that want to have something besides the basic pokeball to carry their friends in. Things that follow under this will need to be individually looked at and taken into account on a case by case basis. Most should be simple but there are possibilities that would be very difficult. For those that don’t know what I’m talking about then this is for you. I’m talking letting your pokemon have special containers such as cards or jewelry or even something like a massive hammer. Put your Machamp in the center of a championship belt. Put that Scyther in its very own sword. Sound cool? Well it can get a lot cooler. Just let your imagination run fucking wild.
Conclusion
The end result of everything concerning this is that people’s imagination can run fucking wild in what they wish to create. Just realize that you come into this class with fundamental knowledge only if that so you will not be making the most epic shit right off the bat. Work up to it and you can make something that’s more than meets the eye. If anyone has any questions that need answered or has ideas please feel free to ask them, I’ll be more than willing to work with people personally.
