[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=style, background-color: black;,true][cs=2] & YOU'RE NOT EVEN HUMAN ` YOU'RE JUST A LOVELY IDEA OF ONE WHO I ACCIDENTALLY LOVED AND GAVE EVERYTHING TO BECOME THE GIRL ON THE PIANO BENCH SINGING ALL OF HER TEARS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - away | [atrb=width,240] It was a humid mid-afternoon and the perfect time to relax after training her pokemon on mastering some combinations at the beach. The beach was a great place to train her pokemon especially that long hours at the beach built stamina as well as much leg muscle. It had been a while since she entered and moved to the Pokemon Academy and she gradually became used to the routines she made for herself and her pokemon so she didn’t get exhausted like she used to be. She was still wearing her red and blue beach tank top, her cobain blue denim shorts, and a beautiful coral hibiscus flower that she found at the beach. She walked with a graceful stride toward her forest-like room with her stoic yet loyal Bayleef, Zeal and her bitchy yet very protective Ninetales, Persephone. It was another rotation for Persephone to “bond” with another of her pokemon and they hit it off especially the fact Zeal and Persephone hardly communicated with each other. Last night they got into a fight for some unknown reason that was not explained though Sage felt it might be because of jealously.
Sage sighed as she looked at the missing multiple locks that used to be there on her door when her and Laz used to go out a while ago. Now, there wasn’t any use for it anymore. It felt like a low-blow when Laz had moved in with Rin after she had broken up with him. Sure, she broke up with him but with Rin? Her friend? She was pissed when she suddenly saw everything he owned gone and heard he moved in with her friend from someone else. It almost felt he was the one who broke up with her. But maybe it was for the best, Sage didn’t want someone who felt the need to protect her—even if it meant her worse side in order to defend herself. Maybe things happen for a reason. As she carefully unlocked the door, she looked around the room almost believing there was someone else there but tensed up realizing there was no one there. She petted Zeal for comfort and heard a telepathic female voice in her head, “Are you alright Alpha? It is not becoming of you.” It was Persephone who didn’t seem to care but she really did. As Sage walked in toward her bed, she answered back telepathically, “I am fine, just fine. Don’t worry.”
As a leader of her pokemon pack, she needed to be the strong one to guide them, not show weakness. She didn’t tell Persephone what happened yet but Sage could tell Persephone didn’t fully believe she was “just fine.” Sage plopped on her bed looking up at the ceiling and extending out her right arm to the ceiling as if she was trying to reach out to it. I’m happy right? Whenever she feels truly happy with that someone in a high—she hits rock bottom right after. What’s wrong with me? Was she always going to be just a friend? Am I always going to rely on a foxy and flirty front? She sighed to herself and got up since she didn’t want to dwell on it too much and feel sorry for herself. That wasn’t her thing anyway. I need music. She wished she could have brought her drum set but she just had to settle with her drum pad. At least there was a drum set at the Music Appreciation classroom but it wasn’t the same as her Tama drum set. She, Laz, Van, and some others were planning to make a band. She was excited at that though but damn, it was a bust. She missed her band mates so much.
She decided to practice drumming on her drum pad so she wouldn’t be rusty when she came back home. Music was her escape from reality and a perfect stress reliever. She got up from her bed and told Zeal and Persephone, “I’m going to practice drumming okay?” She grinned, “You guy behave." Her pokemon looked hurt, maybe more like jokingly but since the last time she left them alone--it wasn't pretty. She continued, "And Per, let me know if anything’s up.” Zeal nodded at her tiredly and laid next to her bed and Persephone decided to be the one sitting loyally by the door inside as if guarding it and said telepathically, “Alpha, I’ll watch for intruders.” |
[/b] Sage sighed and replied, “You sure Per? I doubt there would be anyone coming in to intrude.” [/b]Persephone huffed, “It doesn’t hurt to do so. Anything can happen.” Sage gave in, not wanting to argue, “Alright. Fine with me.”[/b] All she wanted to do want practice drumming already. She took out her bass-enhanced headphones as well her medium sized headphones and sat down on her black drum chair. She blasted Sublime’s “Caress Me Down” and began swaying to the music and before anything else; she took out her graphite drum sticks as she began drumming to the punk reggae song. She felt free and became lost in the music. "Ew.... A ROOMMATE..." A roommate...Hopefully someone who could be of use. Someone that would be able to help Claire out every once in a while, though Claire wouldnt think of doing the same naturally. Maybe a cute guy thats loaded...Or some poor trailer trash kid that barely made it into the school. Someone weaker than Claire, though in Claire's opinion that was everyone. "Who could it be?" Calire wondered aloud, stepping towards the dormitories of yellow ranked students. As she came closer to the dorms & entered the halls, she could hear orderly behavior like sounds coming from one of the rooms further down. She had been having the worst of luck lately, including being here. So this would be a surprise if she got a normal roommate. Her heels clicked through the hall, echoing. She wasnt nervous though, just ready to leave this place completely after she graduated. Finally reaching the door to her room, she heard drumming from the other side. Her heart would pound as she turned the nob. Maybe it would be some awesome hot rocker guy...or chick. ooc: Sorry, Muse just died halfway through.

While Sage was busy drumming on her drum pad and lost in her own world, her onyx colored female Ninetales’ felt a presence from the outside. It was fortunate Persephone’s sense were greater than some others that even Zeal who was snoring loudly and deep in his slumber didn’t notice someone was outside. Persephone’s blood red diamond on her forehead shimmered brighter as if alerting her of incoming danger. Persephone said telepathically with a bit of sarcasm, “Alpha, I sense someone outside.” Sage was busy humming in her head that she almost didn’t catch what Persephone was communicating to her. Sage turned down her music and put down her drumsticks and replied telepathically back, “You sure? I wasn’t expecting a visitor today.”
Sage returned Zeal into his pokeball since he seemed already knocked out from training earlier and put her headphones on her shoulder allowing some of the music to be heard. Sage told Persephone, “I don’t hear anyone coming hun.” But then she heard the creak of the door opening, and she saw dark blue/pink haired girl. Persephone said as matter of fact with sarcasm, “I told you so. I don’t like her Alpha. She smells like pidgey-kill. Kill her?” with an evil grin looking straight at the so-called intruder.
Sage remembering the pidgeys and other bird pokemon Ninetales killed early on especially that day she captured Persephone shuddered inwardly at that thought of Persephone maiming a human. She could actually imagine that, if she gave the “go” she knew Per would actually do it. Sage replied back telepathically, “We don’t need that today Per.” Sage was known for her ability to read body language and was admired for that by Kaera but she didn’t get to use it recently so this would be fun. Persephone huffed and trotted proudly back to Sage’s side, “If you need me to, I will. She just smells suspicious. Beware Alpha.” Sage knew that already. But sometimes she may be wrong.
She greeted the newcomer with a foxy grin and said wittingly, “Welcome newcomer. There are only two reasons why you’re in my room. One: you’re my new roommate.” And she continued slyly like a true vixen with a wink as if implying something though she might not be, “Two: you want a favor though I highly doubt it. Am I right?” Sage made it point to not be bothered in her room for a battle. If they wanted a battle, they would need to find her somewhere else. Maybe she was being a tad theatrical in her greeting to the girl but it was fun and she was actually sizing the girl up by awaiting the girl’s response. She could always say that she was just bored and joking around. Besides the so-called intruder didn’t seem like that innocent type of girl she made friends with in Pokemon Academy though innocence is such an easy façade wasn’t it?

Maybe It Wont Be So Bad...
Claire gave a slightly startled stare at the ninetails. Not only was it different colored, but it appeared to not like the girl already. She would have earn her way into the creature's heart, though that wasnt really Claire's goal. The girl stared for a moment, trying to figure many ways to leave the place right away & find another room. But giving up once the girl gave notice to Claire's arrival. The pretty blond girl came to the door & thankfully blocked the sight of ninetails, at least on Claire's end. Claire stared at her once more before answering.
The dark blue outer layers would come before her head as she turned away for a minute blushing from the overwhelming nervous emotion. She then turned back towards the blond, her pink layer a bit more visible but everything still in place, giving her reply. "I'm Claire. Nice to meet you I guess..." She said with a firm but shaky tone. She then gave a giggle to Sage's playful assumptions. "Haha. I would never ask for something that fast. I dont even know your name." She giggled again. "Oh yeah. Im your roommate I believe..." Claire told her.
Claire waited for her response, turning to the side to see the bags all lined up. Well, not bags, all suitcases & on Tagumi tote bag that rested on Claire's shoulder. "Instead of standing out here, how about I come in? After I move all of this..." She turned back to her roommate to speak, then returned attention to the seven suitcases.

Hearing the other girl's shaky tone of voice as she introduced, Sage could tell she was somewhat nervous. Maybe it was meeting a new person jitters? Claire didn't seem like a threat at all. But suddenly she heard Persephone's telepathic voice in her head, "Contrary to what you probably think, I still don't like her." Sage sighed replying back, "Oh shush Per, she's just nervous. Maybe you don't like nervousness?" And then Sage heard a "hm" from Persephone. Sage giggled at Claire's response to her playful assumptions and her asking for her name, "Oh right, I almost forgot! I'm Sage. And this beauty; is the friendly Persephone." She paused looking at Persephone and said jokingly, "You're friendly aren't you?" Persephone responded with a huff and just continued sitting there. Sage sighed, “Guess not…” She paused and looked back at Claire curiously, “New roommate? I guess I didn’t get the memo.” She then smiled at Claire, “And if you need any help, let me know alright? But—it depends what kind of help…” with a hidden implication. Sage got up from her seat and walked to help Claire bring her things inside the room and as she widened the door, she was mildy surprised to see not one, two, or three bags but seven suitcases lined up in front of the door of her room. That was unexpected but still; Claire was a girl like her. Girls usually carry loads of things don’t they? But Sage usually hung out with her band mates who were guys so she wasn’t completely positive about her assumption. Sage caught sight of Claire’s Tagumi tote bag and widened her eyes. Weren’t they expensive? She then said casually to Claire, “Nice Tagumi tote bag.” From working out and exercising ever since she came to the pokemon academy, Sage was able to life a heavy suitcase easily and carefully into the room and put it down without much trouble though she wondered what all the suitcases held and why seven suitcase. Losing that train of thought, she said from inside the room, “This alright?”

Maybe It Wont Be So Bad...
The lonesome girl stopped and stared at the girl who seemed to help. Though she was helping, she pretty much carried in pretty much, no, all of Claire's things. It was sweet of her. This roommate might actually be the kind of girl that Claire needed to meet at PA to change her opinion & views on everything. Claire was a bit nervous at first, but then before becoming the sweetest she could have been, she noticed something. Something that wasnt anything to make a fuss over. Nor was it anything to mercilessly attack Sage for. It wasnt even something to make a sly hint about. It was nothing actually, well to everyone else. But unfortunately it was something MUCH more to Claire.
Her new roomie was sweet. She was kind & elegant. She seemed like she could possibly a party girl. Maybe she was? She had a great taste in clothing, seeing as how she knew of the exclusive "Tagumi" line. She had to be a fashionista of some kind, just like Claire! The two could have become such amazing roommates. They'd possibly become as close as sisters, until this seemingly perfect girl messed up.
Claire paused, watching Sage go inside the room. She froze herself in time, trying to hold back her anger. If she remembered correctly, she was unable to control it last time which ended upo resulting in her loosing the match and being given the yellow rank. When Sage turned around to give a comment, Claire eyed her down. "You..." She gave a long pause, lowering her eyes towards the small bag that fell from the larger ones. It wasnt anything, just a small ugly pink & white pouch that seemed to have light weight things inside. "Bitch..." She glared back at Sage.
"Listen up Sage, I dont know who the hell you think you are, but I can tell you what your not! Your not mannered, your not sophisticated, and most certainly are not a wardrobe stylist." She went off, eying down the blond girl. Claire kicked the bag sideways, down the hall. "That bag, was more than expensive. Im not surprised you didnt notice it fall! Just like you didnt notice how fantastically tacky as hell your outfit is! And do you really know what Tagumi is? Besides something you cant afford, its a luxurious line of bags, totes, shoes, and was made by the empress of fashion, Ms Tagumi herself! Each one by hand! UGH!" She pouted after marching into the room, bumping shoulders into Sage, with a rough & rude manner to show the obvious disrespect.
"I'll be damned if I sit here & let you do that! Did you drop anything else, you blond bimbo?" She nagged & bitched at Sage. "Its bad enough IU dont want to be here! Dont make me take it all out on you!" Claire angrily slammed words at Sage. She began to search through her clothing, making sure everything was in place. She was also making sure that nothing else was dropped or missing. Any & everything that was missing, would be blamed on Sage immediately.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=style, background-color: black;,true][cs=2] & YOU'RE NOT EVEN HUMAN ` YOU'RE JUST A LOVELY IDEA OF ONE WHO I ACCIDENTALLY LOVED AND GAVE EVERYTHING TO BECOME THE GIRL ON THE PIANO BENCH SINGING ALL OF HER TEARS - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - away | [atrb=width,240] Sage was about to grab the tiny tagumi bag that was falling to her room’s floor but she was too late—the bag’s contents had already fallen out. Sage was about to help her pick up the dropped items but Claire had to open her damn mouth and called her a fucking bitch. That was unexpected. Sage heard Persephone with that evil glint in her tone of voice, “Kill her…she insulted my Alpha!” Sage communicated back to her with a neutral tone of voice, “Stay right there. I’ll handle this girl.” Persephone growled in her dissatisfaction, “As you wish Alpha…” Sage could plainly see Persephone, bringer of destruction growling manically at the other girl.
As Sage was entertaining thoughts of fucking up that spoiled brat, she kept her face neutral as if she was used to this already. As a matter of fact, she experienced this before and this was nothing compared to “bitches”she dealt with. Though this girl seemed like a spoiled brat than a bitch. Hell, Sage was a bitch—for speaking out her mind. Sophisticated? Mannered? Tacky outfit? Sage listened to her like a parent would listen to a spoiled brat. But afford all those things? Damn, she hardly had enough money to pay for her five-hundred dollar Yamaha Drum Set. Still—she felt accomplished she earned enough money for it with band gigs, work, and anything else that helped pay for it. Sage felt that girl pushed her roughly as Claire made her way to her things. Well, wasn’t that nice? If this was a physical fight or pokemon battle, I sure won’t hesitate to go for the kill or tap you out.
Sage drifted into memory that sort of was related to this. “Mom what is it?” Ten-year old Sage asked her mother curiously but also, nervously. Her mother seemed to observe her critically and also worriedly in a way as her eyes met with her bruised arms. Her mother paused for a moment and told Sage, “Don’t you dare hide it from me. I already know.” Sage looked at her mother faking her voice in being okay, “Don’t worry Mom, I’m—“ Her mother cut her off, “Shush Sage…you need a lesson.” Sage gulped expecting the worse in the “kind” of lesson. Her mother looked hurt, “Do you really of me that way?” Sage trailed off, “No, of course not!” and nervous where this conversation was going. Her mother just sighed, “First of all, you need to learn to defend yourself. Physically and mentality sweetie. We’re not always going to be your saviors. I’m thinking martial arts.” Then continued thoughtfully, “Lessons with me as well. Cut your enemies down and be one step ahead of them. Verbally of course. Simple like cherry pie.” Sage whimpered, “That sounds mean!” Her mother hugged her tightly, “How are you going to survive when I’m not here sweetie?” Sage thought about it and realized she couldn’t “always” be nice and replied, “I’ll try Mom” with nervousness in her voice. And just like that, her mother broke the hug and smiled, “Now let’s have some of that cherry pie shall we?” Sage sniffed and caught a whiff of the sweet aroma of the cherry. But what she didn’t know was that she was going to apply her mother’s lessons on many occasions over the years.
As she got out of that pensive memory, Sage looked down at Claire physically as well as metaphorically. She said nonchalantly, “You done yet? I was getting bored you know?” She continued with a foxy grin saying truthfully, “Yes, you’re right hun. I am a bitch—I speak my mind and some can’t handle it. But—I’m not a “bitch” for fucking dropping your tiny bag. And it seems you don’t like me, do you? Tough sweetie, I wasn’t put here to please you.” Sage was about stop until she remembered a few incidents that she shouldn’t care about, “And, if you're thinking of spreading little rumors, or things you might find about me, go ahead hun--at least they have something to talk about” as Sage gave her a knowingly foxy grin.

Maybe It Wont Be So Bad...
Claire continued her ramblings. She wasnt upset. She wasnt on her "time" of the month. She wasnt too happy either. But she was more than pissed to see that Sage had been ignoring her. She began to shuffle through most things in her pile & ended up dumping out her bags onto the bed. This wasnt too...Organized at all, but it was better than what she had. Though once she finally came near a quarter of being done, only for it to be cut off by Sage's response.
Claire's rage was sparked, possibly leading to nations imploding. Her thoughts raced even more, just like during her test. "She didnt care? She is a bitch & admits to it? Whats this damn hun saying she's giving me? Why isnt she mad? Or annoyed in the least? She cant be this tolerant...No one is. Then she had the nerve to cut me off! How rude...She doesnt know how to dress. I doubt she's any good at drumming. She's just...Here! She's not as pretty as I, nor pretty at all...Why is she so...So...Urgh!!"
"You know what..." Claire started, grabbing her still full tote. And placing it on her lap, while sitting herself on her bed. "You should work on yourself before anyone else. I dont think I care about whether you care or not. All I care about is making sure I get my point across." She bitched calmly, looking into Sage's eyes.
ooc: Sorry, Claire muse kinda died, Im not used to bitching XD

It was unfortunate that the other girl look well somewhat pretty and at first glance, seemed like a great friend but once she opened her mouth—it went all to hell. This was supposed to be Sage’s day to cool down and relax after long training sessions, not being challenged and being insulted by a spoiled brat. Sage began to feel pain on the middle of her forehead and cursed to herself in her mind. She wasn’t looking forward to having a migraine today. She heard Persephone’s feminine voice echoing in her head, “Alpha, do you want me to take over?” Sage replied, “No I can handle this Per.” “You’re in pain.” “I have a fucking migraine.” She answered as a matter of fact. “Well that explains everything, not really. Almost thought you couldn’t handle that Omega…” “Omega huh? That’s a bold statement. Isn’t it?” “What can I say? I’m blunt like that.” It was funny because Persephone reminded Sage of herself and how acts if she didn’t hold her feelings back. She guessed Persephone inspired her to become more confident in herself especially in this small situation at hand. She listened carefully to Claire’s reply to what she just said and it hardly fazed her, it didn’t even make her twitch from irritation this time. Sage answered with an equally calm tone of voice, “I could say the same for you,” and paused as then she emphasized, “you have a long way to go.” She looked at Claire with a smug face, “And well, I’m glad you got your point across Claire” as Sage then winked at her and walked out of the room with Persephone to relieve the tension from her body and catch some fresh air.
