Splendid had just received his starter Pokemon and left the lab. The first thing he did was go put all his bags and stuff in his dorm room, wondering what kind of roommates he would have, but not really bothered by it much. After all, he had jobs to do, adventures to have! As soon as he had gotten a second, smaller mask from his bag, he let his new Slugma out of its' pokeball.
"Slug!" It had cried out, looking up at Splendid with its' big eyes. And Splendid had realized he'd ended up with a female starter. His first emotion had been shock. He hadn't expected that, in fact he thought they had made sure that starters were always male, but apparently not.
"Well, hello, little girl." He'd smiled, sitting down next to her. "You aren't what I expected, but I'm sure you'll be fantastic, too." He had gone on to explain their mission their calling of superhero-dom, and when she seemed excited enough, he had tied the second mask onto her. She was truly one of Splendid's crew, now. He had named her Ruby Lass, which he thought was a good superhero girl name.
Now, they were in the yard of a creepy mansion. Slugma was slow, and so Splendid was glad she was friendly and trusting enough to let him carry her without burning him, although she did leave some sort of residue on him. She looked sorry, at least.
"I've heard there's dark-types, psychic-types and ghost-types galore here. Obviously, they need a couple of heroes, right?"
Lass nodded, or at least he thought that movement was a nod. Happy with himself and the events of the past few hours, he walked up to the door and prepared himself to knock, since he wasn't sure quite what else to do.

"Come on Kathy!" Rai exclaimed, pulling her hand, walking towards the spooky mansion. This was just like Rai. Always dragging his friends into things that he's sure they'll enjoy. Though he wanted to suggest it to her & give her the option, Rai wouldnt do that for her. Kathy seemed to anti social. She had to be forced into socializing or else it would never happen. "Im sure you'll find a cute poke pal too!" Rai encouraged, coming up to the mansion.
Rai suddenly noticed a random boy with a mask around his eyes. He seemed to have a fire type with him. A slugma, what better pokemon. Rai came closer, announcing it to the stranger. It had to be a student, a new one at that. "Hey you! With the mask!" He asked the boy, finally coming up to him just before they entered. "I hope you dont plan on going in there alone! Theres traps & stuff too."

What was it with her and meeting people that wouldn't just leave her to her own devices? She always had to met the people that would be determined to label her a friend and drag her out into the world. And why was she mainly meeting boys? Why couldn't see met a girl, or better yet, another anti-social girl. They could sit next to each other and say nothing for hours. It would be awesome. However, it was not to be. At that moment she was getting dragged to some mansion by a guy she just met and battled. Of course, she had almost told him no, but before she had a chance to, he had grabbed her hand, and towed her off. First, to the pokecenter, they had just battled after all, and then off to Tao's mansion. WHY she hadn't managed to evade him yet was beyond her, but then again, he moved fast.
A Nuzleaf swung from her shoulders, obviously happy to see his trainer dragged off into something INTERESTING, for once. His name was Shade, and he gave no sign of the fact he had just battled. A Phanpy named Zack trotted next to them, rather indifferent. A Ducklett had firmly planted herself on Kathy's shoulder, holding on with her beck. However, four pokeballs hung from her yellow belt, the farthest one holding a sleeping Poochyena, though this wasn't from the battle he had just fought either. He had just felt like sleeping. She gave no response to Raize, and didn't even seem to notice the boy and slugma by the door.

Obviously, hey you with the mask was directed at Splendid. The blue-haired boy drew his hand back from the door, and turned to see a blonde haired boy. Alone? Splendid wasn't alone! He had Ruby Lass, and he had a large knowledge of all kinds of cool superhero things. He obviously was not alone.
Still, Splendid hadn't had a good friend in some time, and making friends seemed like a good idea. This kid didn't seem bad, nor did the girl who seemed to be being forced to come with. "Is she okay? You shouldn't be so pushy with a woman!" He paused for a moment, wanting to make sure she was alright.
"Ah, it is?...Well, would you like to team up?"

"Well, why not. Ive been here before." Rai said with a loving grin. His pokemon were all still in there pokeballs, which would be inside Rai's domo plush messenger bag. "Im Raize, some day top coordinator. This here is Kathy." He smiled, then gestured towards the girl who was dragged behind. She didnt even seem to have minded being drug out here, at least she didnt say it yet. "She's pretty anti social, so I brought her up her after our battle to try to get her to be more social."
"Whats your name?" He asked the blue haired boy. Despite the boy being adorable & having a positive attitude, Rai seemed to be oblivious to it. "And whats the mask for?" He questioned staring at boy's eyes.

She first realized that Rai had stopped, having tuned out the world in an attempt to keep down her irritation had being dragged off somewhere by someone she just met. She snapped back to attention, her eyes focusing as she took in the world around her once again. She was no in front of what she was pretty sure was Tao's mansion, near a boy with an odd red mask-ish thing, and blue hair. he had a slugma who was also wearing a mask. To her, that seemed remarkably meticulous. Why would you walk around wearing a mask, and making your pokemon wear one? She came around just to hear him finished saying 'pushy with a woman'. What? Was he talking about her? And she hadn't been paying attention? She liked to know what people said about her, so she could change what they thought, if it wasn't as vague as she liked, so missing what someone said about her was irritating.
"I'm perfectly fine anti-social" She told Rai, scowling lightly at him. He fit her definition of most humans, loud and irritating, she herself, while maybe irritating to some, rarely loud. She didn't say anything to the boy as Rai had already asked any questions she would have bothered too, though not all the ones she had. Shade, happy to have another pokemon to talk to, leaped down to the slumga calling "Nuz, Nuzleaf! Nuzleaf?" Where he told the slumga his name, and asked for the slugma's. Zack just waved to the other pokemon, and Carla didn't really seem to notice the fire-type.
