"Okay Bron, we've gotta get our skills up if we want to be any good." Seta stated, his Bronzor beside him. Seta felt that the forest was a good place to train. The trees were sturdy and stable enough to take Bron's strikes. Plus, there was still enough room for movement. Seta took in a deep breath and exhaled. The fertile, pleasant air just made this day all the better. He felt a nudge against his shoulder. "Oh, sorry about that Bron. Right let's get to it."
Seta gave his commands, and the steel plate pokemon followed. All its attacks, aimed at a lone tree. "All right, now Extrasensory!" he told. Bron, following its trainers orders. "Nice, if we can figure out combinations with more practice, you'll be a force to be reckoned with Bron." he cheered. "Now let's keep going with status attacks." he continued. Practicing on trees wasn't enough. What the pair really needed was a fellow trainer to battle against.
"Okay Bron, lets take a break." Seta told, patting the top of the floating head. "You doing great, let's keep our practice up and you'll be perfect out there." he told. Some of the Bronzor's attacks were flaky, but if they battled some other pokemon and trained. Maybe Bron would even evolve. "Yeah, that's our goal Bron. We're gonna have you evolve, and be even better." he told. The Bronzor's smile grew at the thought, making Seta give a smile back. Bron always had a way of keeping a smile on Seta. "Hey let's stay here for a while Bron, we're gonna challenge a trainer if we see one."

Ven was relaxing in the forest with Wardog and Ofnir, that is when he hared a big crash and loud noise. Ven knew it was battle Ven nodded and got up and looked at Wardog and Ofnir then nodded, "Wardog, Ofnir i hear a battle and lets move out so form up." Ven stood up and Lead took his lift while Omastar took Leads lift and Nidoran took the right and Sandshrew. Tyrogue took Ven's right his squad was not full yet so yeah he took the lead position but did not have nothing to lead at the moment. Ven then turned toward the sounds of battle "Wardog, Ofnir move out," Ven and his Pokemon started to walk towards the battle.

Bron became alert. There were others nearby, at least that's what Seta thought. "Hey what's the matter Bron? Are there other trainers?" he asked getting no answer from the Bronzor. "Well then.." Seta said getting up. "Shall we go see what's up?" he followed, standing up. Seta was rather excited, if all went well he would be in his first pokemon trainer battle, not the regulated one for legal trainers, with the 'Eyes met, so battle' rule. Since everyone was a student here.
As the dsup continued their walk they came upon a man with quite a collection of pokemon. "Why, hello there." he said greeting the man. "Seta Kaizou, pleasure to meet you." he said introducing himself, extending his hand. "So, it seems you have quite a collection of pokemon. By the looks of it they have been well trained." he said complimenting him. Two fully evolved, he could tell by their physical appearance. The others still young, like Bron.
"I don't mean to be forceful, but I am in need of a training partner at the moment. Would you and your friends care to help me and Bron in a one-on-one battle?" he said challenging the man.

While Ven and his Pokemon were walking they came across a man with a Bronzor, the man then extended his hand out and introducing himself as Seta Kaizo. Ven also extended his hand to shake Seta's hand, "i am Ven Hiroshima from the island of Cinnabar its a pleasure to meet you as well." Ven smiled as the man challenged him to a battle looking at the man with his red and golden eyes, "Very well i presume you are using your Bronzor and i do thank you for your compliment you seem strong as well i look forward to are fight so with out further ado lets start this show Wardog 4 your up." Sandshrew walked up next to Ven and looked at Bronzor "Well Seta you have the first move since you are the challenger so its your move. "

A smile grew on Seta's face at the response. "Perfect." he stated. "Now then, let's get serious." he said taking out his pair of glasses and adjusting them onto his face. Everything was alot more clear with them on. There was no way he would let an eyesight problem hinder his chances in this battle.
"Heh, thanks for the courtesy Ven. Though you won't really find such acts with me. This is a battle, and you're my opponent, courtesy has no place on the battlefield." he told. This was a truth he wholeheartedly believed. Rightfully so too, if he let himself be blinded by such acts, who knows what may happen.
"Now then, Bron! We've got the first move so let's take advantage of it! Use Iron Defense!" he commanded. His pokemon following the order, cladding itself in steel armor, increasing it's defense two stages. Seta wanted no trouble with physical attacks. "Great, now use Confuse Ray!" he followed, Bronzor shot a floating yellow ball at its opponent to confuse it. If successful there would be a lot less trouble with this fight.

Ven smiled as he hared Seta say the they was not room for courtesy on the battle field and he was right, "you are right about that Seta." Ven saw as the man commanded that Bronzor to use iron defense and confusion, Ven nodded "Wardog 4 engage with Sandstorm dodge the confusion." Ven ordered Sandshrew to do, Sandshrew then rolled in to a ball and started to spin and there for lifting dust,leafs, dirt, and sand up in to the air making a sand storm. Along with his sand veil Sandshrew gained a 25% increase in evasion with that he jumped out of the way of the confusion. Ven smiled and tried really hard to Seta through the sandstorm "now it looks like its your move"

The whipping of the sandstorm came fast. Seta didn't worry though, thanks to Bronzor's affiliation with the Steel type, the sand just brushed off of the steel plate pokemon. Though what astounded him was the strategy involved. "Must have practiced that for a while, his strategy went smoothly." he thought. "Nice way to dodge, Ven. I applaud you on your strategy." he told.
"All right Bron, change in plans. We're going on the offensive. Now Future Sight, then Extrasensory!" he commanded. Bron's eyes gleamed a bright blue, activating Future Sight to attack in two turns. Then Bron sent a shot of psychic energy with Extrasensory at it's opponent. Not having to worry about Bron and the weather was nice, but with his Pokemon's ability it was going to be troublesome.
Feeling the spray of sand stung against Seta's skin. Even though each grain of sand hurt Seta, he kept his composure, more worried about Ven's next move.

hearing Seta's compliment made Ven smile "Well i'm glad you liked it Seta and nice move your self but how is this one Sandshrew use defense curl and then sand tomb." Sandshrew then curled up in to a ball letting the extrasensory hit him but doing minimal damage, after the hit then Sandshrew started to spin once more making the sandstorm rage in tombing the coin Pokemon in a raging sandstorm for 5 terns of continues damage. the sand was not hurting Ven because of the fact of his overthrow and he could hid his mouth from the sand as well. Ven finally attacked after playing defense for a few turns but know it was time to not play no more in Ven's view he was not playing no more Sandshrew needed to be a Sandslash.
Ven then tried to looked at Seta but was basically just looking in his direction " well Seta its your move"

Seta smirked at Ven's command, "Bron. Levitate." he told. Bron floating away from the Sand Tomb. Having such a useful ability like Levitate took away the risk of the danger from Ground-type attacks. With the danger of that out of the way Seta went back on the offensive. "Now then, Bron. Let's use Hypnosis. Then charge in with Heavy Slam." The Bronzor followed sending an echoing, hypnotic wave at Ven's pokemon.Then following up with an allo out Heavy Slam, putting in all of its weight.
Seta hasn't really tried using this move, all he knew is that it was a steel type attack that depended on the user and targets weight. Oh did he know how heavy Bron was, way over 100 pounds. By the looks of Ven's pokemon the attack was going to be more than enough.
Seta had wished to stay with ranged attacks. Though with a lack of special attacks, he would of had to charge in. If Hypnosis worked Seta thought his victory would be guaranteed, especially with the psychic shock from Future Sight coming in the next phase.

Ven heard the commands Seat barked out Ven knew dodging the hypnosis would be easy, and knew that if Sandshrew was hit then it would be over. the heavy slam was no matter to Ven, Ven knew what to do. "Sandshrew use the sandstorm to avoid the hypnosis and then as he is coming to you use gyro ball" Sandshrew used the sand veil ability to dodge the incoming hypnosis by running to the other side, the Bronzor was shooting blind, Sandshrew then turned around to only see a coin Pokemon coming at him it was like the Hypnosis was a decoy of some sort. So Sandshrew began to spin creating a high speed ball of wind around him. If the heavy slam hit then the gyro ball hit majorly damaging them both. Ven was Wondering what would Seta choose have his Pokemon take massive damage for massively damaging his or would he cancel his move for the safer route.
Ven then looked in Seta's direction once more "well Seta lets see what you choose so now i guess its your move."

Seta smirked at Ven's command, "Bron, stop." he ordered. Bron ending it's attack. "Now, Imprison." he followed quickly. The Bronzor's eyes glowed a deep purple. With Imprison, the Sandshrew wouldn't be able to use any move the Bronzor also knew. Seta knew this, and when he say Ven order for Gyro Ball, he also knew this was a move Bron knew. It was only proper to disable Sandshrew from using this powerful move.
"Hm, seems as if it's time." Seta said. "Future Sight, has come back." he told with a smile. When the second phase was reached. A psychic shock aimed at Sandshrew, struck. Seta's strategy was going as planned. "All right, Bron, let's try and end this. Go! Heavy Slam!" he ordered. He was having a blast with this battle. Even though he wished it wouldn't end, in order to win he would have to finish the battle.

As the sandstorm was beaning to die down Ven could not use the sand veil ability no more Sandshrew did not know dig so he can use that to avoid, so Ven had another idea to avoid the heavy slam. "Sandshrew as it is coming at you use sand attack to throw it off its course of attack and then attack it with poison sting." With out any way to do any really bad damage to the coin Pokemon, Ven had to try for avoid as many attacks as he possibly can with another sandstorm Sandshrew should be alright. Sandshrew gathered sand in his hand and throw it at the Bronzor's eyes hoping to send it off course, fallowing the sand attack Sandshrew opened its mouth shooting poisonous barbs at the coin Pokemon trying to infect it.

The poison needles aimed at Bronzor bounced off of Bron's sturdy steel body. "Sorry Ven, but Bron is immune to all poison attacks thanks to his metallic body." it seemed as if Ven was trying to stay defensive, but with Bron taking away all of his Sandshrew choices of attack there is almost nothing he could do. Even though Bron's accuracy had been brought down a stage by the sand attack, he still had tactics that could alleviate the problem.
"Best to be careful, Bron use Faint Attack!" he ordered, knowing this move was a guarantee to hit. Bron followed, charging after the Sandshrew. "All right Bron, give this your all and try to wrap it up. Extrasensory!" he ordered giving his pokemon encouragement too.
Thinking about this battle, it seemed he knew a lot more about abilities and alignments of pokemon than Ven. Though he wouldn't be surprised if Ven was bluffing Seta the whole time. "I'll end it before he plays his wild card." Seta thought.

Ven noticed that he could not do much of any thing but he had to at least try and put up some kind of fight but there was nothing to be done although Ven had one last thing to do. "Sandshrew use defense curl and survive," Sandshrew then rolled in to a ball throwing his defense up another stage. Ven thought that that would help him survive the brutal attack both attacks slammed in to him but he was still standing to Ven's surprise. Ven smiled "Sandshrew use another sandstorm and use sand veil to disappear in to the storm." Sandshrew staying in his ball form started to spin and that started another sand storm and ran around blinding in to it. Ven started to wounder how he was going to combat Seta's Bronzor one more attack and it would be over. regardless Ven looked in Seta's direction and smiled "its your move Seta "

"Urgh, not this again." Seta groaned, covering his face with his arm. Trying to keep the sand from damaging his eyes. Even though he had his glasses on, he still had to be cautious, less his eyes be damaged even more. "Bron your still okay, right?" he asked. Bron turned slightly, showing the sand brush off of his sturdy body.
"Great." he said noticing. Even though Bron had hardly taken any damage, it must have been getting tired from exerting itself. "Okay, Bron. Let's try this again. Attack his Sandshrew with Faint Attack!" Bron followed the order. Charging into the Sandstorm. "You can find him Bron. When you do, finish this battle." he added. He didn't doubt Bron's abilities. He knew Bron could find Ven's pokemon even without using Faint Attack.
"Finish it Bron..."

Ven sighed once again he was fighting a Pokemon that his Pokemon has completely no chance of wining, with out gyro ball Sandshrew would have stand no chance this battle would just go back and forth. Ven knew that fain attack would hit because of the simple fact that Sandshrew cant run forever. "Sandshrew brace your self," the Bronzor eventually found and hit its mark and Sandshrew was knocked out. As the sand storm subsided and went away because of it, as Ven recalled Sandshrew he looked at Seta "looks like i'm not that strong after all i guess i have a lot ahead of me if i want to be number one huh. Well look out there Seta because one of this day's old red might be coming back."
with that Ven looked at the remainder of his Pokemon "Wardog Ofnir move out," with that trend around and walked the way he came.

As the sandstorm subsided, the view of two figures could slowly be seen. As the last of the sand left, he could see the participants clearly. The Bronzor was victorious, the battle was theirs. "Nicely done Bron. You've earned a rest." he congratulated. Taking out Bron's pokeball and retreating it to its chambers. Seta sighed of relief, "Sheesh the suspense has been killing me, you know?" he joked.
"Well Ven, I don't know what else to say other than that meeting you has been a delight." he told. Thinking about the battle, and what other pokemon he had out with him, he would've had a much tougher time with his stronger pokemon. Listening to Ven, he knew this wouldn't be their last encounter. "Yeah, I cant wait for that day too Ven." he said walking in the opposite direction of his rival.
