It had been such a long time since Seijou had actually gone out to something social-like. Since entering the Academy, it seemed as if the only thing he did was seclude himself out in the forest or another location and train his [butt] off. But, for some strange reason, today out of all days, the Courtyard seemed to call to him. The weather was rather pleasant, as usual. The radiant sunshine gave off a tingly, warm sensation throughout Seijou’s body. It wasn’t often he didn’t wear a hoodie and today, the white v-neck seemed appropriate. Beside him was Saru the Chimchar, simply walking next to him. It wasn’t strange for the Chimchar to just be walking about but the lack of trees or vines or some kind of hazard seemed strange to him. Actually, he couldn’t quite remember ever being outside of the forest or volcano. Perhaps, near infancy? Regardless, the place seemed familiar yet bizarre. Enjoying the day, Seijou found a spot he found comfortable and sat down. It was a nice little spot, near a field of grass where some Trainers were playing with their Pokémon. Taking out a sandwich and breaking off a large chunk, the boy split his sandwich with his companion and laid back to enjoy the remainder of their day off.

Apache/Rufflet, Daisy/Swanna, Spike/Rhyhorn, Blackstar/Shinx Speedy slowly rolled his shoulder. They were tight, and he hurt. His arm was still within the cast that it has been in for the last few weeks, should be soon time to take it off. But then again, maybe not he would have to visit the nurse again soon. He bent his head to the left, two loud popping noises resonating from within. He made a pitiful "Ow," after the crack. He bent his head to the right, the same sound resonating and the same pitiful sound. Why was he so sore? Good question, this was in fact unknown to even to him. Maybe some other worldly source caused him to ache like so. Maybe he had some kind of outer body connection with some random person all the way across the world and today they did something to cause this soreness.
Speedy sat and thought if this was possible. "Pfft, Preposterous, that is completely insane and entirely impossible." He shuffled slightly. Pressing his arms against the back of the seat for a support. Just at that time a boy sat next to him. Taking our a Sandwhich, and a Chimchar jumped up next to him. The trainer blinked at the boy, didn't recognize him. Didn't even know whom he was. In a few seconds he will though. He leaned forward in a casual slouch, pressing his elbows against his knees. "Impressive Chimchar, very bright colorings in it's tail." He looked over towards the boy. Reaching around his left hand awkwardly due to the cast his right was within. "Pleasure the names Speedy, Speedy Zephyr."

Still chewing bits of his sandwich, Seijou looked to his left and saw a boy around his age. His short, silver hair and blood-red eyes seemed disturbing but then again, he looked pretty strange himself. Swallowing, he opened his mouth to reply. “His name is Saru. I guess his flame is so bright because of excellent training and care, not to gloat.” He said with a slight shrug. When the boy gave his name, it just added to the strangeness. ’I wonder where they name people Speedy Zephyr? Haha, might as well me call me Yellow Flash!’ he thought, bring a small grin upon his face. “I’m Seijou Endai. Nice to meet you, I guess.” He said, carelessly. It wasn’t intentional but more so, just a part of his personality. To be honest, Seijou thought a majority of the general population here were either extremely boring or extremely cliché but there as a choice few who clicked with him.
Seijou looked. The boy didn’t appear to have any Pokémon with him, or at least out. Seijou found it unnecessary to have Pokémon in a Pokéball especially when simply relaxing. It seemed to be like more of a hassle on them if anyone. “Sooo….you have any Pokémon?” he asked, knowing that he did. Saru examined the boy with curiousity. His head tilted at the question of Pokémon, as he itched for a battle more than anything at the moment.

Apache/Rufflet, Daisy/Swanna, Spike/Rhyhorn, Blackstar/Shinx Speedy quietly listened to Seijou as he spoke about how hard he trained with his Chimchar. Until he asked about any pokemon that if he had any pokemon. "Me? Have pokemon? Are you kidding? Of course I do! I have plenty of Power Packed Pokemon ready to PWN someone's face off. Wait... did I say that right?" He ran what he said back in his mind. Gently scratching his head. He thought he said that right. I kind of sounded right... Ehh Oh well. Speedy already knew where this was going. Nobody inquired about if you had pokemon unless they wanted to battle you, or breed your pokemon.
Speedy bounded off of the Bench, forgetting that his body was still and didn't feel all that great. As soon as his legs landed on the ground every muscle in his body cried out. He cringed in pain, rotating his shoulders trying to loosen up the muscles. "Alright, Alright, let's cut to the chase. You want to battle me and I want to battle. Alright, I accept your challenge, and I shall battle you with Spike!" He said tossing out Spike's pokeball. In a flash of red energy Spike suddenly appeared, materializing onto the battlefield. He took a quick scan of the area, transfixing his gaze upon the Chimchar. Giving out a low growl, as he prepared himself for battle.
