Strangely enough she wasn't all too sad about. Sure she had been okay with having a room of her own, but she could get used to sharing a room, only problem with it being that the ones she shared with were all boys. That surely couldn't go wrong at all, right? Well, she'd make them bow to her if need be.
Now the thing she was displeased about was that she did not have her Pichu for the entirety of this week. It's not like she cared or anything, but considering the Pichu's feelings were it truly the right thing to do? She doubted it, besides that it had been Pichu who had initiated the attack on that Numel, she had merely decided to help knowing that even if she didn't the Pichu would fight to save Cacturne. It was weird, wasn't it? How a Pokemon who disliked battling seemingly were ready to play a hero? She'd have to talk to Pichu about that later.
Walking by her side were the substitute Pokemon she had been given for this week. It was a Rattata, if she had to be honest it would probably be more useful against that Numel than Pichu had been. The Rattata were a pretentious one, it had not even deemed her fit for a glance ever since being given to her. But could she expect from anything given to her as a punishment? Nope.
"So Rattata, what do you say to a Battle? If we can find an opponent that is." Sawaka asked the Rattata, the purple mouse did not reply back, instead it merely scowled and turned its face away from her. Sawaka sighed, this surely would not be an easy week.

"I-ivy! Stop it."
Laz laughed as he could feel the Snivy crawling all over his body. The feet stinging him like prickles and the sensation was ticklish one. Not to mention that Ivy was having fun tormenting her trainer when she could. She was confident nowadays at least, pretty much ready to take on the world so long as her trainer was there to back her up. Or, that's what she felt anyway. Got some really good sleep or something would be the best explanation for such a change in attitude.
"Good Girl."
The red head laughed as he gave the girl a small pat on the head to which the Snivy crooned with joy as she felt the soft hand of her trainer rubbing her head. It was a satisfying feeling as she began to claw her way up to the red heads crown of crimson strands before making her bedding area there. Yawning a bit, the currently carefree Snivy went to a small-half-asleep like state as she looked at the people around the Courtyard.

It wasn't pleased with her, because it believed the propaganda it had probably been fed. She hadn't wanted Pichu to go risk it! No far from it. But who was she to decide? Tao called the shots and he had already made up his mind on that subject.
But Sawaka wasn't going to be let down by this. She was going to fight and prove to herself and others that some tyrannical school principle weren't going to get her down. She would make the best of this! But first she would need a Grass Pokemon. She'd need to catch a water Pokemon which could then beat the Numel. It was a brilliant albeit possibly complex plan.
But first she needed some experience with this Rattata, she needed to know what it was capable off, and how it reacted during a fight. Hmmm, she looked around trying to find someone whom which she could battle. And she was in luck. Not only did she find a trainer, but he owned a Grass type, battling against a Grass type would surely prove rewarding in the end, for she would learn common grass type strategies.
She casually walked up to the trainer with the Snivy on his head, Rattata following unwillingly behind. She smiled at the Trainer and said. "Hey, couldn't help but notice you have a Snivy on your head, it's cute." It was cute, she was honest about that. But she was trying her best to play a bubbly borderline happy personality, because she kind of felt it would seem weird and rude to simply go up and say ‘hey, you me battle now?!’ If she wished to battle she should refrain from such behavior as she guessed it would merely push the trainer away.
"Oh, by the way. My name is Sawaka, and you are?" She said extending her hand. She had simply asked for his name as well because she merely felt it proper that she got his. After all knowing the name of the trainer you fought against would be important, right?

"Just get to position."
Laz sighed as he moved back, ignoring whatever pleasantries the girl had to offer. It wasn't good to stereotype but the red choker on the girls neck pretty much signified what dorm she was in. And that the sparkle for battle was too obvious in her eyes and how she tried to look bubbly was just so fake. And so, Laz need not bother with it.
He had enough people trying to challenge him inadequately. That girl probably had some sort of Fire Pokemon being so brave to challenge him just because his Snivy was out. Well, Laz knew how to handle those at least, given with how far his range of knowledge went for Fire Types.
Moving backwards, pace by pace until there was enough space for a battle, the red head then let his Snivy slither down to the floor, already knowing what she was supposed to do. Giving a hostile hiss at the opponent, the Snivy coiled herself around before the opponent released their pokemon to get herself ready to launch an attack the light faded.

She had expected some so called foreplay before the match. Like you know, introductions etc etc. But This man seemed to be either annoyed or simply had seen through her immediately. She knew the later was quite likely considering she were no good at acting, especially when it came to acting incredibly positive and happy.
Positions were taken quickly, and Rattata were out on the field immediately for it had never been in its Pokeball. It sighed as it looked at the opponent. It knew this was likely to be a loss. The trainer not only looked experienced, but he were also using a typed Pokemon. Grass type to be specific. Rattata weren't exactly in favor of this match-up even though it, being a normal type could be indifferent to whatever match-up it was unless it was a fighting type. "Quick attack, Rattata!" Sawaka commended, she intended to start out with hitting hard and fast. Hopefully taking the opponent before he was ready to counter it.
Rattata did as it was told, immediately charging at the Snivy with increased speed, a silvery white light flowing behind it due to the move. This was not going to end well, it was sure of it. It held no trust in this trainer's capability to predicting the opponent, though Rattata could do nothing but brace itself for a loss.

"Follow with Leech Seed and Wrap."
Laz ordered, wanting to end this match rather quickly. His Snivy was stronger than before, which meant an attack like this, from what looked to be a rather new pokemon, shouldn't be able to do much. The reaction of the Rattata was different as well, rather than completely obeying it's trainer, the pokemon looked to lean heavier on wild rather than tamed. Using that as an advantage, the red head was now ready to calculate the next scenario.
As such, the Snivy had braced herself for the attack, her feet digging to the ground as she managed to hold on against the Quick Attack, barely feeling the pain as she leaned back to allow the force to dissipate while the impact weakened. At this close of a range, the opponent wouldn't be able to dodge and so the Snivy had, without preamble, quickly launched a barrage of Leech Seeds, that if it attaches itself to the opponent, would drain their health away and let Ivy recover from her injuries.
As the Seeds flew, the Snivy then followed up with her actual attack. Tensing her entire body as the opponent was still within close distance, the Snivy would attempt to wrap around her enemy, entangling it in her coils as to destroy what movement it had. Not to mention that she would be able to continuously exert more and more force as time went by.

Rattata was no exemption. He had just barged into the Snivy using little more than the force his tiny body could create. The Snivy could easily take such an attack, that was obvious.
Sawaka then cursed herself as she realized what kind of trap she had walked into. The Snivy had not only launched leech seeds that were not firmly rooting themselves onto the body of the Rattata, but the Snivy were also using its strength to wrap around the Rattata and crush it. Think, Sawaka, Think, think, what can you do now? She questioned herself as she went over all the moves she knew Rattata's knew.
There was one move. And Rattata would most certainly be in range to use it. "Hyper Fang, now!" Sawaka yelled, Rattata opened it's mouth and bit as hard down into the nearest Snivy flesh it could find.

Laz wasn't worried, even as the girl tried to call out the Hyper Fang with her Rattata that wasn't obviously following her. Laz's Snivy on the other hand, had this fight down properly. She was smart enough to have used wrap away from that irritating teeth that every Rattata and their evolution line had. Ivy had indeed used wrap, her body coiling around the torso primarily but as she strengthened the power behind it, would then stretch around the Rattata's neck, being rather safe from those horrendous bites that Rattatas were notoriously known for.
As the Hyper Attack seemed to wildly try and chew anything, the Snivy had a hard time trying to coil tighter as to increase the damage output but was thrown back by the wild bucking of the Rattata. Much like a rag doll, the Snivy rolled and in the process, gathered a few cuts on her belly. It didn't matter though, as the Rattata had its energy sapped away by the ever helpful and parasitic Leech Seed.
Feeling her strength return, the Snivy then began to conjure up one of her favorite techniques. This move had been able to deal with a rather persistent Numel, so the Snivy was more or less confident that it could take the Rattata on.
"Ivy, Leaf Blade."
Laz ordered, calmly to the point of indifference as he watched his Snivy pump up the grass energy into her sickle like tail before crouching down. And with a hostile hiss at the bucktooth pest, the green snivy launched herself towards it, completely parallel to the Rattata minus her shimmering Leaf Blade tail that was poised to strike the rodents face if it failed to dodge.

Sure his temporary trainer was one whom he did not like, but that did not mean he was about to go down without a fight like this. No, no no, not at all! He would fight. Finally the Snivy got off, however it had taken a lot of energy to do so. Rattata breathed loudly as it peered upon the Snivy before the attack came at him.
"Use quick attack to dodge!" Finally something smart was said by Sawaka, the Rattata couldn't help but think as he used the move Quick attack to jump out of the way, only one little problem. He was tired and his reaction time was affected by it. He thought he had jumped over the attack, but his legs were just that little inch too far down and was hit phenomenally by the attack. His already weakened body now found itself quite unable of movement, yet it tried to get up.
It had to land one more hit, just one more and it could call this fight over. It didn't do this for the trainer, it did this out of his own personal pride. Sawaka just stood there trying to think of what it could do. But everything lead to the conclusion that the fight was over. The leech seeds would give back whatever damage they could put on it. Rattata mustered all the strength it had, focused his energy upon what was important and forced himself to jump once more at the Snivy hopefully being able to land another Hyper Fang.
Flinch Roll, if it hits. [dice=10]

"Just tackle it."
Laz ordered, it wasn't even a serious one. This fight was just...he didn't know how to describe the actual battle. He'd have preferred to have fought with someone who could actually control their pokemon, who would have listened to their trainers orders. Then again, not everyone could have all their pokemon under control. Even Laz was guilty of this. Then again, the red head never did send his disobedient pokemon to fight unless it was for them to learn how to listen at least.
As the Snivy went under, thinking that her previous tactic was good enough, she could once more feel the energy filling her up and giving her the profound will to keep on going. Ducking low, trying to avoid those Fangs, the Snivy coiled up and launched herself towards the Rattata. She had enough force behind her that even if she got caught in the Hyper Fang, she'd still at least deal some kind of damage to the Rattata.
Even as the Hyper Fang hit her, the lower side of her leg, and feeling herself flinch from the hurt of the attack, the momentum that she had with her before the Hyper Fang connected was enough to send her balling towards the Rattata, hopefully, that was good enough to satisfy a tackle or at least some sort of struggle attack.

It disliked the trainer to say the least, and all in all it was most certainly unfit for battle. However it had battled, and it was on the verge of collapse even as it dug its teeth into the Snivy it felt the energy being drained, and at last sweet blissful unconsciousness took a hold of him.
Sawaka was displeased but not surprised at the out come, she could only thank Arceus that it was not going to be a permanent thing with this Rattata. Retrieving its Pokeball, she simply mumbled "Return." And activated the Return mechanism. The Rattata was gone no longer than five seconds after. Sawaka sighed as she now had to go and get the Rattata checked up on.
One good thing did come out of this though. She now knew what not to do when fighting Snivy's, one of the many potential Pokemons she could end up meeting whenever she found herself going on the hunt for a Grass type. "Well, it was nice fighting you, but I guess I should go get some help for this Pokemon, now." Sawaka said, there was not even the slightest hint of the faked personality she had displayed at the beginning. In fact she simply turned around and left. She was not angry at Laz for the loss, she had expected something like this to happen, she were however quite angry at the Rattata's inability to win.
Unless the stranger decided to follow her, say something, or anything of the like, she would be gone in no more than three minutes.
