In order to evolve a Pokemon they must have a certain amount of experience, which they can gain by battling another Pokemon. It should be noted that Pokemon who normally require a trade to evolve (such as Graveler or Machoke) do not actually have to be traded to evolve on this site. They are simply treated as a basic evolution.
- If the Pokemon evolves once, they need 8 experience points.
- If the Pokemon evolves twice, then they need 5 experience points for the first evolution, then 7 for the second evolution
If the Pokemon evolves through an Evolution Stone or (normally) through being traded while holding an item, then no experience is required. All you need is the item that triggers the evolution. Trade evolution items are treated as being the same as Evolution Stones...all you have to do is use them on the Pokemon, and they will evolve. No trade is necessary.
The amount of experience gained also depends on the battles themselves. If the Pokemon you wish to evolve defeated an opponent belonging to another trainer, they gain 2 experience points. If they lost, however, they only gain 1. Win or lose, a Pokemon will only gain 1 experience point for defeating a wild Pokemon.
If one of the treads contains questionable or false content (such as god-modding, power playing, or claiming a victory when there was a loss), the mods reserve the right to deny you of your evolution. However, you will also be given a chance to defend yourself, in case of a mistake on either your or the mod's part.
When you wish to evolve a Pokemon, send a PM to either Laz Ysal, Tyler Silverman or Rixie Pakuna. Simply state which Pokemon you wish to evolve, and include links to threads in which it has battled.
